Zambia will be camped in Lusaka until departure for South Africa on Monday ahead of their game on Independence Day.

  1. Hey coach Phiri you seem to be missing Enock Sakala and Rainford Kalaba the two leading goal scores in FAZ-KCM log.WHY? Please maintain the rentention of players who are doing well and are full form. The selection looks ok but not satisfying to many soccer fans.

  2. I watched the BB vs Italy game. BB is struggling in all the depts especially the defence. But they have slightly improved and we need to be careful when we meet them in the COSAFA final.

  3. I thought Kalaba was in the team,i saw his name when the team was just announced.Stophira Sunzu who’s been included in the team as a Midfielder won’t pitch cos his still busy with trials at Reading Fc.Why not bring in Kalaba as a replacement. I will be very surprised, if Kalaba has not been included in the team.

  4. #5 Sibs are you shaping up out there in Jorburg.

You are right Kalaba is in the team and has just been omitted by the Journalist compiled the team list on this site.

Chamanga is also being considered for this game and would have loved to see Enock Sakala in the squad to add fire power.

With adequate preparations, we can humiliate Bafana Bafana in their backyard one more time.

  5. Hoz it going #6 Kemps Mwelwa my big Brother.I hope Pretoria is good.Jozi is laka.I thought it was an error by the journalist also.Hey have you seen Bafana Bafanas team to play in the Cosafa final. All the players are from the ABSA Psl.
I think tu kaba naya again.I was just checking out the list in the Sowetan

  6. I was just wondering last night as to why the coach hd left out Kalaba and Enock, the two leading goal scorers in the FAZ-KCM league.I do not know how good the strikers selected are, ELson has always been in and out.BB is still struggling, only Mokoena impressed againsgt there 2-0 loss to not so impressive Italy.

  7. #7 Sibs I am fine and just checked the Bafana line up for COSAFA final against Chipolopolo and I think we can easily run over them on paper but football is not on paper so we need to prepare adequately and shame bafana again

  8. FAZ has really let us down, how could they agree to play on our independence day,on a wednesday, in Bloemfontein at 20.00hrs. They have denied most south African based Zambians a chance to watch their boys in action.Bloem is far from JHB and PTA where most Zambians are based.Driving to Bloem @ nite is risky. Next time FAZ should not dance to BB’s tune.

  9. Well said number 10, BB has really tried to frustrate us by taking the game to Bloem and to be played at nite. This game will be played at an empty stadium, which in reality defeats the whole point of a tournament if fans cant even watch the game live at a stadium.JHB would have been ideal for everybody ,but SAFA feared the support Zambia would get if the game was played at a central venue.FAZ is a big let down , they have let the nation down

  10. Ayway let the young players get a chance, we have won this cup many times and I won’t shake a second if we do not defend it. My focus is on AFCON, Olympic Team and World Cup 2010. I am postive with a good combination of players we can do wonders. With respect for the Gabon Air disaster, we can no longer use that as an excuse, we have the players now

  11. Our nation needs leaders who will put people first, I feel like this government is threatening people not express opinions. Your time will come when you will be out of power remember that always.Bravo to the civil societies and the opposition.

  12. Kalaba should NOT be part of the team, We must use the team that beat Mozambique 3-0. When we needed Kalaba in that encounter, His coaches shielded him. Abash retrogressive tactics. Umwaiche akapwila pa ZESCO nga aleangala!!!
