  1. 2-0, well we knew it was going to be a tough task. These guys are tough, despite playing in a warzone the team is talented and have a lot of money. I think 2-0 is not a unreversable score, but Zesco will have to be ontop of their game.

  2. This is the end for ZESCO, at least if they ad scored that important away goal things would have looked different, but as things look now there are no 2 ways about this one, nachi pwa bane

  3. Tough lucky zesco, but a two zero score is too much for them to turn around.ZESCO really need to be on top of their in second leg if they are to go past this stage.

  5. Hello zambians, hope and trust that we are ok.It is good to write about my country, zesco will come on top back home in zambia.Lets not lose hope but pray that all will be fine on the return match.Go Zesco go zambia. From Champo Mwaba in Manchester.

  6. All is over for ZESCO.They can’t beat this team 3 nil in Ndola.I’m sure there will be same stories of poor officiating or same similar stories when Zesco officials gonna give their report.

Too bad guys, but don’t lose hope.Continue working hard.

  7. This is an output of the current Faz executive, what makes me wonder is the same chaps Kalu and Teddy are still contesting. If our league was a bit stronger or was made stronger it could have been a different story.I feel pity for our talented players as they are not really getting the help, motivation and guidance they might need to turn them into great soccer players. This is why you find a player signing a contract at half time.Lack of seriousness and direction is killing us

  8. We are just poor in soccer nowdays, let us just admit the fact. Our National Team has never won the AFCON, have never been to the World Cup, our clubs the same story. It is now 43 years since we got independence and yet we do not even have a decent stadium, by the way how is work in Ndola on the new stadium??? Ba Zesco won’t beat the Sudanese club without the Sudanese scoring a goal or 2 beleive me you, Zesco are walkng a tight rope

  9. Zesco school of soccer produces outstanding players all of who showed good performance in the African cup. However, the Sudanese leagues are a power to be reckoned with. AlHilal has more experience and defeated teams such as AlAhli (3-0), Taraji (2-0) & AlNagm (2-1), Zamalek (2-0), Asec (2-1) and have a record 102 wins in our hilal stadium. In all honesty their performance today was below average at a 6.5/10. Its not the end of the world for Zesco as Hilal last year lost from a Nigerian team 3-0 in Lagos and defeated them 3-0 in Sudan and won via penalties. I wish you all the best in the second game in 2 weeks and may the best team win.

  10. Hi every body,I’m a Sudanese and just want to say that I hope ypu all the best and hopfully the 2 teams will play a good game in the second leg

  11. Good postings from # 14,15 the guys in Sudan not the other chap ‘Al something’ we have had in the past.Like most guys are saying it will be very difficult for Zesco to go through they have to score 2 unanswered goals plus defend at the same time to force the game into Extra time.
Meanwhile the coach (W.Nyirenda)says,”Al Hilal had nothing to offer,we just made 2 mistakes in defense”.Are you sure coaches?? Anyway all the best in the return match

  12. Wedson is not serious, I thought football is about making use of your opponents mistakes? And that is what they Sudanese did. He should stop saying the obvious things.

  13. hi

    dear Zesco officials,

i think you are dreaming if you think for a minute of beating HILAL the GIANTS. so please stop dreaming and just be thankful to God that you got the chance to play against HILAL.

    Good luck next time.

  14. I am Sudanese of Sudanese origin, but from my perspective, the Zambian team defeated Sudan because of the professionals playing in Europe but not local Kmahtervin least where they have equal experience with the Sudan because Sudan is not by the professionals and this is the reason.
