  1. In terms of feedback, I like the new display. Its a good summary! provides a good single view and pick of interesting photos.

VOTE ‘YES’ FOR THE NEW DISPLAY!!!

  2. mwata eko fyaba nanomba ifinyau? bakalubale songola meno nabena, imiganda nomba sha amba ukusangwa mu cairo road.
chikuza, makishi 1 ngwee, katotola, name them, those days were quite entertaining

  3. Nice display though the slideshow buttom doesnt work as good as when you click on the picture then view one by one. The slide show should be able to do that as well

  4. i like the new display. lt u ar getting better and better. already u ar above the znbc standard. we dont need to mention about state run newspapers…. keep it up

  5. Nice Pictures LT. I am for the OLD Display MWE BANTU. And on the same old display where are the Picture numbers? (for reference kabili). The picture showing President Banda with World Bank Vice-president for Africa – NDIYE SIZE YANU IYO BWANA!! Common man suffering in Misisi compound. I miss home.

  6. i feel sorry fo those chimps in the C/B town,if only they new they’re near bembas they cud have migrated to the east or at least to the south, kwa livingi.bembas, suwa mweo mbuyas, these animals fo sure sit like humans…lol, regards to all bembas on the blog.

  7. mamamamamama!! that thing in cairo road is scarily fo sure, olo ine ninga lepule, mugaizi enze kulwisha chani, esp our sisters fo real they can freak out and cause accident, ivo nivakumunzi, not voyo fyana mu town ala!

  8. Lovely pictures LT. I really miss home.
As for the display, I personally don’t even mind which one you choose as long as I see the pictures. Many thanks.

  9. The Old display is still better because of its arrangement and wording underneath the pictures. Thanks LT for the pictures as they help us remember home.

  10. i have tried out the flash version, it’s ok though. one important thing you might consider is the Exit function, please put a button or pointer in your code to guide a GUI viewer on how to exit. i had a rough time figuring out how to exit the flash not until i accidentally clicked on the page and thus found my way out. on average, think it’s a good improvement …. :))

  11. I prefer the old one LT..I like the couple for RB and Eze ntwanikani.Oviosly Tandiwe complained, they were too close

  12. As long as we can have the pictures ,no worries for me .Are these chimps up for auction sale ? Have never heard of chief Chibombo but i know chibombo area

  13. HEY LT!! WHATS UP WITH THE KUOMBOKA PICTURES??? I need to see how my fellow princesses graced my Litunga. Come on, show me the pics!!!

  14. Nice pictures revealing Zambia as the REAL AFRICA. The first pictures under “Old display for those without flash support” with women washing clothes in Misisi Compound leaves much to be desired. If such was shown on BBC, I think many of us would have been complaining of bad media coverage. For this reason, I commend Zambian LT for showing us a real picture of what is happening in our Country Zambia.

Also, I would like to make mention that all the pictures are nice especially the one with chi-NYAU in Lusaka town of the City.

  15. Zambia sweet mother zambia
you are owez on ma mind
its gud to see how you are growing
thanx LT for the memories nice fotoz
    Zambia sweet mother Zambia
    I miss en love you

  16. Mmmhh Baby C, maybe she’s the one that’s trying to kiss him. Anyway, some things we notice reveal a lot about our inner desires.
Chief Liteta on pic #9 looks like X-zibit.
I can also spot some Lusaka beauties at the salaula market.

  17. Interesting! i just wake up log on to LT and i see my very good friend sitting next to the chief donating desks. Made me laugh and called to tease him that he looks like a kapaso lol

LT, point of correction, Chimfunshi is in Chingola, not Mufulira.

And what was that police officer doing standing so close tothe run away? Dont tell met he was providing security coz thats just a pure violation of safety rules. What if the plane slides off the runway?
    Good pics LT anyhow!!!

  18. Baby C you are right, RB looked like alefwaya uku planta ka kiss pali gelo ilya. Mmmm i can imagine efyo iba RB ngale fyompa ka Thandi na ilya set of lips and nose akwata mudala. Ifwile ilabako crucial mwe lol!! Has anyone noticed that they actaully look a bit alike with the same lady he wants to fyomp?

  19. i would be happy if LT kept the old one. it’s easy for us to post a coment on a numbered picture. The new one is ok but looks crowded. shani bonse ba Zambia.

  20. I think RB is a Casanova. This dude has the romantic vibes in his system, love him or hate him, any woman would be touched by his charm. I guess it explains why he knocked a girl 50 years his junior off her feet. Of course he is a useless president, the worst Zambia has ever had

  21. FIRSTLY THE LADIES IN THE SALAULA PIC LOOK WELL DRESSED, ITS BETTER THAN THE FAKE CHINESE STUFF ANYDAY SALLIZ LASTS.
SECOND Rb n world bank madam…AHEM!!! need i say more
YOUNG children learn to share early….the only good thing coming out of poverty
#20 musi lusaka is dirty but i dont think we can see that in these pics though even where the women r washing mu komboni actually looks clean, just bare

  22. Wow! Iam humbled by pic # 4 The elder sister sharing little food with her sibling.Oh Lord my God please provide food for the family in pic 4.The girl reminds me of my young brother he did that to me a long time ago when we were kids we.My brother as i promised you back home,I will be resposible for your university fees and half of your wedding budget kaili ine bushimbe forever.

  23. Indeed ba Rb was too close. It looked as tho he was almost launching an emotional attack on the lady.Anyway that is his size, teti chibipe.

  24. MWANA WA KWITU is what I shall be known as, it seems people are revealing themselves. So I too shall pickup on my heritage. LOve the pictures, especially the two young ladies sharing. May God bless our beloved Zambia to moral and developmental growth.

  25. Greetings everyone. To the ladies, thankyou for being their and holding our nation together. For when women faulter all crumbles like Chikonda Moyo( Corn bread). To everyone born in the early eighties and beyond we can change and teach our younger siblings how things were and must be, leave out the politics for they were primitive. Thankyou beautiful Zambian mothers for all you do, and Zambian men let us love these women so as the do not end up like neo-greek European women. YOu can all tell I am happy today. Later one and all.

  26. Early eighties and before correction above.
    P.S: there aswell lol.

  27. Guys let us buy shares in Luwamwana mine, I am going to. Lyonse tikamba pali development pa LT; I am leading the charge. Plus I am sending a letter to the office of the president so as they should realise the importance of protecting the constitutinal rights of people voicing their opinion. Whether for or against Mr. Banda, for I condem his motives and policies alot, though at times I shall side with him. If he allows the gender bill to pass and stops Sangomas from encrouching on our soil. But let us buy shares.

  28. Go for it LT, good job. New version great too, but who cares for as long as I can see home. You can transition to whatever, much appreciated.

  29. Nice pics, especially the mealtime and washen day. It just show how we grow up knowing how to share. As YEZYANI has said, i feel sorry for the chips coz they dont know the land they are playing on. One day the bembas will run amok and make soup out of those chips. Please send them to Siavonga or Lundazi; they will survive there!!! ONE LOVE TO ALL BEMBA, NAMWANGA, AND MAMBWE WOMEN.

    Always Vinthu

  30. Thanks LT but i think original display is better. Now the likishi straying into lusaka from zambezi? awe nomba.

  31. I like the photo for RB and Ezekwesili , he seemed to almost kiss.anyhow may be they did later. its a nice couple.Am just think if madam first lady saw this picture on when she was watching what was she feeling.

  32. i wonder where we are heading to. if you look at those pictures of two sisters feeding on poridge… cant just imagine what there future is like. Maybe sometimes its better not to know much of the world around coz that makes you realise how far you are from the normal standards. you might be surprised they are even happier than some of us…

  33. LT..CORRECTION…CHIMFUSHI IS IN CHINGOLA NOT MUFURILA….and next time put photographer’s name as well….thats my picture
