Zamtel’s inspired form under Linos Makwaza continues and today they beat Young Arrows at the Trade Fair Grounds in Ndola thanks to a lone goal from Graven Chitalu.
Red Arrows 0- Zanaco 2

Zanaco bounced back to stay top of the table after their 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Roan United on May 1.

Zanaco brought Red Arrows back to Earth at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka after the latter’s inspiring display against Egyptian side ENPPI last weekend at the same venue whom they beat 3-0 in the Caf Confederations Cup.

However, a repeat display was not to be as Zanaco defender Kennedy Nkethani put the visitors ahead with a penalty before striker Patrick Kabamba scored his 7th league goal of the season.
Roan United 1-Nakambala Leopards 0

This match was abandoned in the first half due to heavy rains at Kafubu stadium in Luanshya with Roan leading 1-0 through a Ben Mwanza goal.
Choma Eagles 4-Kabwe Warriors 1

Phenias Bulaya scored a brace while Diamond Chikwekwe and Oscar Kachika added a goal each as  Keegan Mumba’s side sent visiting Kabwe Warriors to a crushing defeat in Maamba.

Green Buffaloes 1-Zesco United 2

  1. Bravo Choma Eagles, playing without Hachipuka still doing better. Let him continue drinkin his chibuku thats why Renard has dropped him from the national team.

  2. Viva Zanaco na Zeshikolo!
When are they going to buy foreign players? Drogba for example can fit in well after all his contract with Chelsea will not be renewed since he manhandled the ref. for being biased in the last decisive match against Barca.

  3. We don’t have to be mothers to join you in the celebrations after all we are one flesh. But as you can see from the scores some of us are mourning this weekend, and trying to forget it ever happened. I really wonder where we at Kabwe Warriors are headed to this season. We are completely on the wrong side of the table. And we have never been “Warriors awine chungulo.” This motto is for Mine teams. Come on the Impis put on your football scoring boots. You mean gap yasha umwaiche Mayuka elyo yayamba ukumfwika this time?
