A 33 year old Kitwe Local Courts officer yesterday appeared in the magistrate court for mention in a case in which he is alleged to have committed incest with his two year old daughter.
Before Kitwe Magistrate Penjani Lamba was Boyd Chanda Kabuswe, a Local Court officer at Wusakile Local Court.
Kabuswe is accused of having committed incest with his two year old daughter in December last year.
Magistrate Lamba told Kabuswe, who was looking calm and collected, that the Director of Pubic Prosecution (DPP) has issued instructions that his case should proceed in court.
She said Kabuswe, who was arrested in December last year and currently on bail, would appear on 27th July 2009 for mention while plea and trial would commence on 14th September 2009.

Incest for a court officer should be a maximum term of sentence bearing in mind the he is well aware of all the consequences. He needs to be punished and not only because he is a court official but beacause he is incane. What a man.

I have been reading and following stories of many Zambians including foreigners living in our country today about the surprise acquittal of the of FJT. It’s only fair that people can raise such concerns, after all we are democratic country as far as I know it unless, u and a bunch of your niggaz have quietly changed the laws of Zambia. $8 million dollars is an awful lot of money to give back to a criminal who stole from Zambia. The money can send 20000 students to UNZA, can built a hospital, repair a run-down school or clinic, patch up some roads, supply clean water to villages,shanty compounds and honestly can help in processing the passports much quicker and without delay as is the case now. I wouldn’t want to see Zambia go down like Zimbabwe due to one person’s selfshiness. RB if you want to have credibility both locally and perhaps globally, please refrain from doing Zambia more harm than they have already experienced. And am not saying you cannot make mistakes, but when it comes to governing people. You always have to to do your best because you will have blood-gulit all the time on your hands. Be smart!
