Red card campaign is now unstoppable, Fr Frank Bwalya

Share

Change Life Zambia executive director Fr Frank Bwalya says the red card campaign is now unstoppable as it has became a national campaign.

Fr Bwalya says attempts by government to thwart the whole campaign will not succeed.

He says the reason why government is intimidating the civil society organizations taking part in the red card campaign is because they are guilty.

Fr Bwalya in an interview with QFM from Kitwe adds that millions of Zambians have joined the red card campaign and that millions more will join.

He adds that government is panicking because they are not ready to appeal against the acquittal of second republican president Frederick Chiluba because doing so would jeopardize the political marriage he is enjoying with president Rupiah Banda.

He adds that failure by government to allegedly bribe the civil society organizations has led to further panic.

Fr Bwalya has since expressed confidence that the red card campaign will achieve its objectives because it is now a people’s campaign.

  1. ”It has worked in Thailand…it not aimed at illegally removing the government in power to create awareness that the nation is not happy with what is going on in the country. If it becomes clear that they are unpopular, how would they rig the elections. Lets wear Red this friday, even just an am band. It for the future of our children were doing it for. By the time RB leaves government, all the national coffers will be completely empty.

  2. Fr Bwanba or sorry Fr bwalya i rely like your spirit.MMD kuya bebele.Rupia Banda must cut down on his trips abroad and reserve the savings .apitanafye ngembwa yabindula..EISH

  3. Only have red dresses what will happen when I visit Zambia? Also, is Red lipstick seen as a campaign?

  4. Fr Bwalya has gone too far with his foolish activities. He will be stopped soon. How can preaching of hatred be a good thing? why not just join a political party of your choice then campaign, what father? when these are the same people deviding the people of Zambia. These male prostitutes hiding in the name of the church. If this anarchy he is preaching goes out hand does he know what as parents are going to loose? our children which he doesn t have because he chose to eat free things from the Church. Shame. Time has come for him to go to prison and on this new charge he is in for it as he was distributing the cards at a wrong function but we know who using him the Foolish Bishop who support

  5. Cont fm #4 prostitution as we saw in the case of Sata having Children with his Two Sisters isn t this shamefull for a bishop? What moral standing can he preach to me when his two sisters can go to bed with one Man married for that matter, siring Kids, bishopof ma rubish, the fight is on we shall see who regret what they have started.

  6. Thumbs up Fr.Bwalya!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rupiah Banda is so scared of you.
RB and MMD are cowards, if they are popular and are a working government as they claim, why are so scared of Fr. Bwalya. Activism is very much part of democracy and multi party politics. In the USA for instance there is the Tea Party Movement that going round all the States campaigning against President Obama. Obama has not complained against the activities of the Tea Partiers.
President Rupiah Banda does not seem to have mental strenghth for multi party politics. Can you imagine the whole being scared of a young guy like Fr. Bwalya?
Good luck Fr. Bwalya and God bless you.

  7. I saw Blade Samande, Minsiter if Education, South Africa launching the Red Card to fight corruption. Similar to Fr Bwalya’s call. The only difference is that Fr Bwalya is doing it out of hatred.

  8. the probem is that this guy does not know anything muchelse only incitement. he thinks GRZ picks money from the trees and is stealing it all. The scarey part is that if the pact win, he will be made priminsiter or given an improtant portfolio.

  9. this is going to very interesting. but how will a succesfull red card capaign help zambia ? What changes will it ultimately bring

  10. RED CAMPAIGN ‘YES’ It is a good one but one thing I fail to understand are the people who have been given these card. The question I have for them is that do they know what the reasons they are flushing those cards for. Most of them they say they don’t want RB but under what reasons can warrant them to remove him. Please for the campaign to succeed educate the people to understand what you are fighting for. Here, in South African Blade has launched a RED campaign against corruption and it is clear and not targeted at Zuma, no. Put for an objective will it work – Period.

  11. Find better reasons which affects the entire populous of the country instead of weak points as President travels, Prisoners at Kamfinsa, relationship with FTJ and Floods. If I may ask today, what will happen to the RED campaign suppose the President reduces air travel, addresses the question of Prisoners on Africa Freedom Day, Stops meeting with FTJ and Floods subsides. The Campaign will be all in futile coz there is no real reason for the course. I thought the proposers of this should focus themselves so well coz the repercussions will be grave to the many blind followers who can’t even afford to hire a lawyer. These are some of the schemes most young children should avoid at all costs and concentrate on the building of their lives and opportunities available in the economy.

  12. I think that Father Bwalya has the right to start this campaign as long as he does not promote Violence and he should also explain to the followers of this campaign what it is about and what they hope to achieve with it. instead of masses of people flashing red cards just because the next person is doing the same

  13. RB #16 some of you pipo can always fit tribalist remarks in everything, you write why must u perpertually express your shallowness. or forgive me I probably disrespecting an elder here coz u definitley hail from times before 70’s or so because most of us young ones we are sooooo mixed we can’t even tell what tribe we are it ceases to be an issue

  14. I support the red campaign. Governement needs people to sensitive them and keep them on their toes…i support the campaign,

  15. FR BWALYA, THEY ARE TWO SPIRITS IN THE WORLD, THE SPIRIT OF LOVE AND A SPIRIT OF HATE. NO BODY CAN HAVE THE TWO AT THE SAME TIME.THE SPIRIT OF LOVE REPRESENTS JESUS AND THE SPIRIT OF HATE REPRESENT THE DEVIL. THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST ARE CALLED CHRISTIAN AND THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN SATAN ARE CALLED SATANISTS. AND SATANISTS LOVE AND WORSHIP RED BLOOD. THE COLOUR RED HAS BEEN CLAIMED BY SATAN AS A VICTORY COLOUR CODE OR CARD.IT IS NOW A PROPHETIC COLOUR OF DOOM. ZAMBIA IS A CHRISTIAN NATION WHICH BELIEVE IN THE ONLY DEEMING BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.FR BWALYA AND COMPANY ARE KNOWN TO HAVE OPPOSE THE IDEA OF DECLARING ZAMBIA A CHRISTIAN NATION.SO THE WAR HERE IS BETWEEN THE REAL BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST AND AND THE RED CARD. IMAGE.THIS WAR WILL CONTINUE BUT THE REDEEMING BLOOD WILL W

  16. YES BUT THE REDEEMING BLOOD OR JESUS CHRIST WILL WIN. NOT THE RED CARD.I MEAN WHY THE RUSH TO CHANGE THIS GRZ AND NOT WAIT FOR 2011? ALL OPPOSION POLITICAL PARTIES WORTH THEIR SALT ARE PREPARING FOR 2011.YOU CAN ONLY FORCE OUT THE GOVERNMENT IF IT RAPES THE PRESENT CONSTITUTION.

  17. MODUS OPERANDI: You are a coward. With this kind of attitude we can never go anywhere. Why should we lag behind when we have everything which should make us one of the richest country here in africa. If you can’t fight a noble cause just keep quiet. we are sick and tired of dirty tricks, political incompetence. Poverty is number one disease here in Zambia and the current govt is not addressing it. The gap between the poor and the rich has widened with little hope of narrowing it. This is caused by refusing to fight corruption. Under the current govt we have lost hope for a better Zambia. There is very little we can see if future. The MMD govt will defeated democratically.

  18. shallow minds in zambia are concetrated on the copperbelt, that`s why this father bwalya thing and his myopic agenda can only be entertained there.try western or eastern ka father ka chi ka la,and that`s when you will realise that zambia is vast.they wont listen to your nonsense and it will frustrate you to your death numbskull

  19. Why is the so called father and his followers in a hurry to take over this great nation? There is something you are not telling us. The reasons for your compaign are not convincing at all. Please spare us your stupidity. Elections are just around the corner, why dont you tell your supporters what will do for this country? Please don’t take advantage of joblessness on the Copperbelt. What happened to love, forgiveness and repentence that you and your ilk are supposed to be preaching? You are just propagating hatred in the nation, is this your calling? Debate issues please.

  20. Frank, with me u are even waisting tym that u are not coming to lusaka on tym
to bring the red card. Give me the whistle, am sick and tired of thz cruel thivz in the MMD
the worst that mwanawasa did was to appoint RB, mfwiti ya muntu, pa last amuloza. The man
has no vision at all 4 the nation, kachileya bring a red card.

  21. #26 it not about taking over the country its about sensitizing the down trodden to vote against Rupiah Vasco da Banda and the MMD The ealier we start campaigning the greater the number who will vote against this old chap who seems to be on a quest to discover the world.

  22. What is this Red Card for? Is it campaign against MMD or what? I do not see sense this father who is busy perpetuating on the Red Card instead of concentrating on Pastoring at Church. Please father Bwalya it is either you stop being a father and join politics or you stop politics and go back to your Fatherhood. You cannot be both an Father and a Wrestler at the same time

  23. This guy is a liar and a joker. For him to be receiving so much airtime one wonders. so all that time he was at radio ichengelo he was planning to do this. he will meet his waterloo very soon.
    NOTE Acts 26:14

We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me in Aramaic, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’

  24. The question has been asked many times, When you remove the government what is the alternative? I am surprised that not a single red card supporter has answered such a simple question. It’s either you do not know or you are too ashamed to mention his name….. If that leader is Sata, who wouldn’t be ashamed anyway?

  25. Development comes about by having various individuals sticking to their knitting, not just politics! How effective was yo Fr. Bwalya on the pulpit? Never heard him, until a mic was dangled across his mouth and he started talking: and sorry that has been the nature of most popular Zambian politicians, shame!
Let’s have alternative and workable solutions and ofcourse a younger generation not the recycled ideas, Puliz!

  26. Thank you Fr Bwalya for helping MMD. We will take your concerns and address them before 2011 and then win the elections. After that we shall continue with our usual ways of doing things. We need people like you who would help MMD progress. Continue highlighting our mistakes and we will have points to address the nation on. Aluta Continua!
