Zesco United gave their new chairman Kenneth Muteto something to smile about with their first Super Division win of the season.
The win comes after a string of four draws since the start of the season that cost the positions of ex-chairman Bruno Wamuniyma and three other club executive committee members including second assistant coach Dabid Chilufya.
Technical advisor Andre Mtine resigned on the eve of the sackings and ironically his position was abolished by the clubs sponsors Zesco Limited on Friday after the sackings.

Lets go Nchanga
It is very extremely disappointing for Kabwe Warriors to lose 3 – 1 at home. This is not the first time the team has lost at Rail Ground this season. George Lwandamina is not the right person to be appointed coach of the CHAN team, the man has failed to perform at Warriors and you give him a high profile job, totally unacceptable. As staunch supporters of Kabwe Warriors, it really saddens me to look at the current inconsistencies of the team, Why cant warriors appoint a new credible coach and go out for a talent search to beef up the team. Rail Systems of Zambia should own up their corperate pledges by fully supporting sports and injecting much needed cash at rail grounds. Their the biggest culprit in Kabwe Warriors poor performance.
