Share

Two more Zambian women have been arrested by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) for alleged drug trafficking.
The duo is alleged to have trafficked cocaine weighing about 1 kilogram. Atines Folotiya, aged 58, a resident of house number 254/2 in Kaunda square, was arrested together with Ana Daka, aged 57, a resident of house number124 old Twapya in Ndola, following a search at Ms. Folotiya’s house in Kaunda Square.

The two were found with about a kilogram of cocaine and about 4 kilograms of ephedrine, a controlled chemical which is sometimes misused to manufacture stimulant drugs that are popular among young people.
The women are suspected to have trafficked the narcotics from an identified East African country. Their arrest comes barely a week after the arrest of another Zambian businesswoman in Peshawar, Afghanistan for trafficking in heroin with a weight of 330 grams. DEC Public Relations Manager John Nyawali confirmed the arrest of the duo to MUVI TV News in Lusaka.

  1. women, women mwavuta. Where are the men kanshi to marry women. life has become so had. At 58 and 57 trafficking drugs!!!!! what about their daughters what do they do???????

  2. Zambian women are using our (us men) entertainment centre to hide cocaine. How sad. very sad indeed.

We know so many ladies have sprang up with nice vehicles boutiques and hair saloons. Not all but some are dealing in cocain. Within themselves they are reporting each other to DEC hence the arrests.

  3. Ba mayo!!!! why why?? I spent my first nine months of my existence right in there and now, my holy place is being abused just like that. Not even my dad will ever want to go in there again……Oweeeee :((:((:((

  4. Chashupa mwebantu, most women have lost diginty. Bonse ubu bucushi. Bana mayo ebaishi efyo bwakula, efyo bwingila, efyo bwikala, efyo bumfwika nefyo bufuma ubucushi. Please educate them on the dangers of drugs on human lives, thats bloody money

  5. Its very embarrassing. These women are capable of doing other things apart from selling drugs. Women need to be sensitised about the dangers of drug trafficking.

  6. How can a woman insert 1 Kg of cocaine in the private part???
The private parts are not ment for that type of cargo…shame.

  7. My take is that putting a man between their legs is not lucrative any more. That’s why drugs are the new choice of income since men have wised up about the parasitic nature of Zambian women. All I can say is that DEC should continue investigations until they find the buyers for these drugs. Cut short the monetary supply and these women will have to adapt to a more plausible income-earning effort.

  8. The big question is, WHY HAS MMD FAILED TO IMPLEMENT THE DECENTRALISATION POLICY?
Those in MMD know their fear is that Councils will perform better, especially the City& Municipal Councils which are under the opposition, and that would be a threat to the survival of MMD. This is the perception of those in MMD, its sad to have such shallow minded leaders that can hold back the development of the nation for their own benefit at the expense of the masses.
Finally, are MMD controlled Councils doing better than those under opposition?
Can MMD tell us why Councils they control e.g. Kaoma in W. Province, Milenge in Luapula &Isoka have had misappropriation cases (not misapplication) What of AG reports on Central Govt?
Minister of MLGH, who’s MMD, approves all budgets for Councils.

  9. Now I know why we have alot of cancers of the “female private parts” from the Elite Ladies and ama abnormal BPs from the same. nabana abapena kashi they pass through were cocaine “rested.

  10. **==*-:)o:-) now you know why Zambian men are marrying women from all over Africa and picking up snow bunnies from European nations like candy. Our women today are wrong what happened after 87 children born after that year are crazy unless under Jesus’s protection. Funny thing is 98% of international Zambian crimes are commuted by our women willingly sad sad.

  11. Our women are lazy and detest hardwork. They are too much into fast money and using bottom power.I now agree with my friend who has resolved to go SADC(Botswana in particular) when it come to marrying citing dependence syndrome on our women.Marrying them is like a prison sentence one has to safe 4 life.I dont blame Kalu either cos very few are of his caliber in direct comparison with Emy Casaletti.LT,learn you geography well,Peshawar is in Pakistan(federally tribal administered area) and NOT Afghanistan. Its shocking even the so called POST dug so shallow this tim around and reported like LT.Our women are strong, they even brave the Taliban insurgency!!

  12. Women Women! Learn to live within your means & please a posh life is one that is earned through hard work.

  13. #2 & #5: Balumendo, utupe twenu natuchepesha. Mukesheko mutunda mbuzi, perhaps then you guys will manage to keep us busy! Now deal with that!

  14. This is all done not for poverty but the love of money. We are indeed in the last days. “People have just become great lovers of themselves rather than lovers of God”
