RB expected in Mozambique

Share

President Rupiah Banda with First Lady Thandiwe (R)

Zambia and Mozambique will tomorrow sign at least four agreements in various areas all aimed at strengthening the already existing bilateral and economic relations between the two countries.

Zambia’s High Commissioner to Mozambique, Agnes Ngoma told ZANIS in Maputo today that among the agreements that will be signed are an agreement on bilateral air services, an agreement on disaster management, agreement on tourism and an agreement on agriculture.

Ms. Ngoma said these agreements will be signed after President Rupiah Banda, who arrives in Maputo at 10:00 hours for a three day state visit tomorrow, holds talks with his Mozambican counterpart, Armando Guebuza.

She said a high level discussion between senior officials from both Zambian and Mozambican governments will be held at the same time as the Presidential private talks in Maputo.

She said President Banda’s visit to Mozambique will further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between the two countries.

“The visit by President Banda signifies those warm and good relations between the countries and will certainly further strengthen the same,” she said.

The talks and signing of agreements will be preceded by President Banda’s visit to the Mozambican Heroes’ Monument where he will among other activities, lay a wreath.

He will also meet Zambians living in Mozambique and attend a state banquet hosted in his honour by President Guebuza.

Other activities lined up for the President in Maputo include calling upon Municipality of Maputo and also paying a courtesy call on the President of parliament of Mozambique

Ms. Ngoma said President Banda will also travel to Sofala province to visit the Port of Beira where he will tour various facilities such as cereals terminal, general cargo terminal and coal terminal among others.

The President will also visit National Agriculture Research Institute which is under the Animal Sciences Directorate of Mozambique.

President Banda will be accompanied by First Lady Thandiwe Banda and Minister of Communications and Transport, Geoffrey Lungwangwa and other senior government officials.

He will be welcomed on arrival at the airport by his Mozambique counterpart, Armando Guebuza and the First Lady of Mozambique.

While at the airport, President Banda will inspect a guard of honour that will be mounted by the Mozambique army.

A twenty one gun salute will be accorded to President Banda at the airport before departing for Hotel Avenida, in Maputo, where he will be staying during his three day state visit.

President Banda returns to Lusaka on Friday, August 20th.

  1. We cannot depart from the growing Global trend of economic diplomacy and settle for isolation and nationalism utopia Marxist tabloids and clueless populist opposition are propagating. Global economic interdependence urges states to put economic diplomacy at the forefront of their foreign policy agenda at issue RB understands better. The truth is that this era of globalization has significantly raised the importance of economic diplomacy. The system is of interdependence on the level of a country’s economic interactions with the rest of the world.

  2. Why economic Diplomacy matter to land locked mother Zambia?
In the saturated Global market place decision making processes in the face of trade wars, scarce FDI, stringent technology transfer and resource value addition has increasingly become more complex. As the number of players increases, as does heterogeneity the harder it is becoming to gain from the system. We are talking of a market place with an emergence of new economies with very different institutions and cultural background. These developing trends are changing norms and values creating an impact on international trade, investment and strategic relations. Bilateral and multilateral bonds matter like never before in this paradigm shift.

  3. RB’s economic Diplomacy is an asset to the country. With certainty we believe our developing economy will soon integrate into existing Global systems, but while we do so we will play a significant role in changing the system and its norms, institutions and what-not with it.

We have prepared for shifts in relative global economic power politics, and the expect growing yet critical changes in the context and frameworks for economic diplomacy.

  4. Its time for us to apply ourselves on the international stage. We have to perfect in the use of political influence and relationships to promote and influence international trade and investments, to improve on functioning of markets and to address market failures against us and also to reduce costs and risks of cross border transactions. Always our economic diplomacy will be premised on commercial policy and many activities of non governmental organisations (NGO’s) we treasure in our successful democracy.

  5. Under RB’s economic Diplomacy with a good MMD foreign policy doctrine, the country is getting smarter in the use of economic assets and relationships to increase and strengthen the mutual benefits of cooperation and politically stable relationships. By and with this we are fostering national prosperity and much critical economic security. Times as this deserve leadership that is internationalist than clueless utopia driven populist. This is why popularly Zambian see no alternative in the arena other than RB for 5 more years of hope, stability, unity and progress.

  6. The contemporary world we are in is a world of economic trade wars, we are settling for Economic diplomacy which undeniably is in best public interest of Zambia. We have to be real and thinking about some implications of the emerging world order faced by the rise of China and other developing economic powers such as India and Brazil we need to partner with in tangible development. In same vein I strongly feel it is relevant to see that times have changed and will keep changing in a world where combined share of the US and EU (trade), the game makers of the rules for the WTO, will reduce to about one third of world trade by 2025. Clearly this can not remain without consequences but becoming proactive in the market place for our common good.

  7. Its time cadres here started thinking in a structured manner about the importance of diplomacy for economic life of the nation. Dispensing menus of insults against RB will not do for the embattled opposition politician.

  8. In summary, these presidential trips are proven assets to landlocked Zambia if we have to incrementally realise sustainable internal economic growth and regional security critical to our success story.

  9. This is the worst case of a monkey playing in Statehouse. It has never happened in this Country where a President goes to Congo Brazaviller, Namibia and the Mozambique without having come back to Zambia first. Does this OLD and ARCHIEVED piece of crap know that he is a President of Zambia and not for the African union. We need to advertise the vacant post of President in this Country. Doe’snt he ever tire in his old age.

  10. SC you are right, these myopic oppostion can’t fathom the magnitude and benefits RB is bring to Zambia for the current and future generations.

Just this week large oil reserves have been discovered in the indian Ocean territorial water of Mozambique and all manner of companies are flocking there. At the beginning of this year natural gas was also discovered and Mozambique has also one of the world’s largest coal reserves.

What RB is doing is welcome. English is an international language and there are a lot of people in this fast growing economy that can come to Zambia to make use of our facilities like UNZA, in terms of student exchanges and all. Anyway lets wait to hear more on what will be signed. Good job RB

  11. We can’t have a leader moving everwhere like a headless chicken. The worst that will happen is for him to be hosted by the Ambassodor to Mozambique because the Horst President doesn’t know he is visiting Mozambique. Why is this OLD and Archieved Politician scared of staying in State House!! Does he see the late President’s Goast or what. What did he have to do with his death????? Seems he is not in a normal state of mind, and keep on moving running away from it.

  12. That is the way to dress Thandie. Not see through yaku China

RB think of opening another railway line (route) to Mozambique…Zambeziland shall be more marketable since it will have various routes linking it to its neighbours to the North, East, South and West. Make your trips worthwhile.

  13. #9 So what is your point. even if RB went back to Zambia you would have still condemned him, let’s face it. To you everything bad about the world including poverty was caused by RB. Did you expect RB to miss the SADC summit where all SADC leaders were in attendance just because of critiques like you? Get Serious man and get a life. For your own information, from Mozambique he is headed to Angola. And there is still the UN trip to make to the UN general Assembly. I hope that chokes you.

  14. If I may ask… doesn’t RB have Ministers who can sign these agreements.
If I may ask does he have to be personally present on issuse he can delegate?

  15. …………………CONGO DR TO MOZAMBIQUE VIA BOTSWANA…………..

……………………….CONGO DR TO MOZAMBIQUE VIA BOTSWANA………………………

…………………….CONGO DR TO MOZAMBIQUE VIA BOTSWANA………………………….

……………………..CONGO DR TO MOZAMBIQUE VIA BOTSWANA………………………….

    …………………………………….CATCH HIM[RB] IF YOU CAN……………………………….

  16. While western Governments, who support the bulk of Zambia’s budgetary requirements, with donations from tax payers toil, are spending sleepless nights figuring out how to cut government spending to reduce their budget deficits, our irresponsible, ungrateful, “beggar” Marcopolo leaders are busy scheming how to deplete the little resources in government coffers, through worthless and senseless travel.

    What a curse!!!

  17. Pandapa,

I thought we all just meet on reading blog posts here and not knowing each other. We all pass through to know that we don’t read SC’s blogs? I ardently read all his blogs. If anything, with all interesting LT stories and SC blogs that is what brings me here. Other than these, what would bring a sensible and educated Zambia here. LT and MMD spin doctors are must read match makers. You think some of us patronize these threads for your Grade 7 mind insults when you can’t even write a paragraph incoherencies free.

If for 10 years as PF bemba cadres you have failed to come up with your own PF blog, just enjoy reading blogs of creative and patriotic Zambians. Counter SC on what he says to prove your intellectual balance.

  18. ZAMBIANS, SERIOUSLY, ARE WE NOT VERY SLEEPY, DOWN RIGHT STU.PID, AND DULL? IF WE ARE NOT, HOW CAN THIS CHAP REALLY SQUANDER THE LITTLE RESOURCES ZAMBIA HAS WHICH IS SUPPOSED TO BE USED ON THE SERIOUSLY POOR PEOPLE? I ASK ALL THE TIME- FOR HOW LONG ARE WE GOING TO SLEEP B4 WE REALISE WE ARE BEING TAKEN FOR FO.OLS? I SERIOUSLY, FEEL LIKE COMMITING SUICIDE TO SEE ZAMBIA BEING HOPELESSLY RAP.ED TO THIS EXTENT. I DON’T KNOW HOW YOU FEEL YOURSELVES. BUT, WE MUST PUT A STOP TO THIS SOONEST.

  19. …I DO NOT KNOW WHEN AND AT WHAT LEVEL OF ABUSE OF POWER BY AN INDIVIDUAL AND A GROUP OF PEOPLE, PEOPLE SHOULD REALISE TO SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. PEOPLE, WE ARE BEING RA.PED PA MATAKO BY THIS USELESS OLD MAN. LET’S WAKE UP.

  20. #11 AND SC, MULI FIPUBA, I DONT THINK MWAFYALWA KU BANTU. BECAUSE, IF THAT WERE THE CASE YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN FEELING FOR YOUR OWN PEOPLE WHO ARE BEING DEPRIVED OF EVEN A SURVIVAL. LIVING AND ENJOYING LIFE IN AMERICA DOEN’T CASCADE DOWN TO THE POOR IN ZAMBIA. I CAN’T UNDERSTAND THAT ZAMBIANS CAN BE SO CRUEL TO OTHER ZAMBIANS AND NOT CARE AT ALL BECAUSE THEY IN AMERICA OR UK. DAYS ARE NUMBERED, YOU GUYS.

  21. “Zambia’s High Commissioner to Mozambique, Agnes Ngoma told ZANIS in Maputo today that among the agreements that will be signed are an agreement on bilateral air services, an agreement on disaster management, agreement on tourism and an agreement on agriculture.”

This trip is great as it will facilitate the signing of the various agreements between Zambia and Mozambique which stands to benefit both nations.

  22. Pomp and ceremony takes up most of these trips , it seems.
A kind of cost benefit analysis on these trips could establish their true worth . We understand it is all in the name of development , but i think it’s getting a bit too much! The majority of zambians are living in dire straits and a lot of things need to be fixed at home. The focus needs to shift.

  23. :(( That Farmer Banda is the most unproductive worker Zambia has ever had. There hasn’t been a president in Zambia since the day Mwanawasa fainted in Egypt.

  24. And ine uluse to that ugly Thandiwe, she can’t get anything from a tired roadrunner RB. Fwayako bambi we mwana we… even one of your cooks is better.

  25. When will we ever have a president and not ” a man on a world tour” ….zooona ni sangwapo mwa RB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)>-

  26. #14 – Freedom – Let him continue travelling, he should not be spooked to discover we have a new President in state house on his return. Wouldn’t be pissed if he uses part of his K11million monthly salary to fly everywhere but the monkey is using my taxes which needs to go into productive setors of the economy. They don’t have money enough to pay all the Civil Servants or even buy Maize from the farmers but do have to spend on this bofoon of a President.

  27. RB — the greatest PLAY BOY….why is he the only presido travelling to meet other presidos…the answer is simple…RB is more inferior than any president you think of. He is inferior to Mugabe, Kabila, Paul Kagame, President of Parent Association, President of farmers union, president of nurces, president of traditional healers,..is even inferior to president of Chipolopolo suppoters assoc… that is why is always on the move. Anyone called a president can summon RB in minute and he will rush without asking questions…

  28. Prepare to buy a new presidential Jet coz this one has used almost all the flying hours.Advise this tourist Please. Why can’t George instead go to mozambique so that R&B can have time to look at the Auditor general’s report.Shame!!!!

  29. We will continue maing noise yet deep down our hearts we know we are cowards.
Everything is rotten in this country.

  30. This too much travelling by a president. Even when he is in Zambia, its either he is in Eastern province, or North Western province, he will soon go to Mpulungu to follow Chibombamilimo in a bye election, after losing he will leave for Brazil. Does he have time to plan, think and write? There must be a big underlying problem with our president.

  31. RB’s August 2010 diary:
    1. Fly to Malawi
    2. Fly to Luena for bye election campaign
    3. Fly to Chifubu for bye election campaign
    4. Fly to Chienge for traditional ceremony
    5. Fly to Chipata to launch Chief Madzimawe’s development agenda.
    6. Fly to Botswana for state visit
    7. Fly to to Congo for Independence celebration
    8. Fly to Namibia for SADC meeting
    9. Fly to Mozambique for state visit

Today is only the 18th of August (hold your seatbelts for the next announcement.

  32. Huh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,some styopet “Senior Citizen” is busy writting nonsense defending his tour at great expense……………Shame, the guy is hardly in Zed,just comes to sign cheques and change clothes

  33. Off he flies again, Mobile President who rarely stays in his own country! The Challenger has really been put to maximum use by RB, i wonder wat depreciation rate is being used for it now!

  34. Ba #24 obviously knocked Engine, RB is flying to Mozambique…what in the world do bembas have to do with it? Explain baby.

  35. Uyu R,B ni kayenda munjila zoona. According to him he was employed to be a tourist of the world. Bakafwila mukwenda aba ba kwindi. He is a joke of the millenium. Maybe he has another house in the air

  36. I wonder what time sits in his office. Do all the heads of state move around like this? This tells me that he really has no plan on how to develop Zambia. The solutions to problems in your household are within not at your neighbours’.

  37. It’ really a shame!.All the time you open up the Zambian newspaper page RB is out to sign some bilateral agreements. What is the cabinet for?if you can everything ,even an octopus you can’t do everything. These agreements is signing are personal.Zambians be careful this tourist might be thinking of selling country.Wake up Zambians!

  38. I am seriously looking into submiting RB as an applicant in the Guinness World Records,
We all know what for ,
I checked the Guinness World Records web site and I think he does qualify.
Anyone with any actual figures as to how many trips he has made outside zambia .?????

  39. come one guys we have ministers and the vice president who can assist,,why is it thats hes the only president whos ever visting his friends…there a lot of pressing issues around the country that this man needs to address other than making u-turns in the air…..zambia has been signing these agreements since 64 and what we have achieved to date

  40. This is just plain foolishness , surely why would a head of state need to spend 3 day next door when all can be done in a day.
just signe the documents, eat, lay the reeth ,talk for an hour and fly back home ,to deal with real issues , and leave your ministers to go visit the port. I just Dont understand , this man has not spent a full 30 days in zambia strait .

  41. Interesting, RB has made more trips outside than Preseident Obama but very little progress out of expensive trips. He said parents must spend more time with children. Is that being followed? Believe me Zambia has a lot of untapped natural resources from which we can develop our country. The big man Kenneth Kaunda never travelled like this and we saw so much development because he was always around supervising his small cabinet. Zambians are worried that tax payers cash is being drained without positive results. If the president will be all over the shore then what are high commissioners andcountry reps doing? Govt employees in foreign service are eyes and ears of the President. If a manager is doing subordinates’ job then the subordinate is irrelevant.

  42. “The big man Kenneth Kaunda never travelled like this and we saw so much development because he was always around supervising his small cabinet.”

Then why did you get rid of him?

  43. Come on zambians someone has to stand up and stop this CRAP for how long are you going to continue paying for PIECE OF CRAP like this.

  44. “And President Banda’s assistant for press and public relations, Dickson Jere in a statement said the President will, with his Mozambican counterpart, discuss the implementation of the Nacala, Beira and Mtwara development corridors which are expected to provide trade links with Malawi, Tanzania and that country.” [Source: PF Vuvuvzela The Post]

“Zambia’s High Commissioner to Mozambique, Agnes Ngoma told ZANIS in Maputo today that among the agreements that will be signed are an agreement on bilateral air services, an agreement on disaster management, agreement on tourism and an agreement on agriculture.” [Source: LT]

Clearly this is an important trip. You guys are fuming out of ignorance. Your concerns are not at all genuine because they harbor with them hatred.

  45. #62 We did not get rid of him, his time was up beside we were not happy with wamuyaya syndrome. It is regretable KK did not groom a good leader. If you are a tax payer RB’s trips do not make business sense. The mobile president is under performing. Imagine you own a shop and always away. Surely, all your stocks will be stolen.

  46. All those oppossing RB’s trips Fee.Car.Lar. fyenunu pa PF. Kano nganibawiso baleenda mwe.mbwa.mwe. RB is not shallow minded like you Kaponya party. You are the same people that were condeming LPM for watching Sumo Wrestlers in Japan and yet that was a by the way thing. Mwanawasa brought in a lot of investment by such visits ba shetani imwe na chi Sata chenu

  47. “If you are a tax payer RB’s trips do not make business sense. The mobile president is under performing”

Let us be factual. Under-performing in what sense?

He delivered RGDP growth of over 6% during the global economic crisis, facilitated the re-opening of LCM at the time if was facing collapse, delivered a historic bumper harvest of over 2.5 million MT of maize, Historic inflation rate of about 7.6% and now ZDA is reporting that half way through this year, Zambia has recorded investment pledges valued at $2.4 billion USD. Let us also not forget interest rates are falling so failed in what sense?

Like I said, you are not being objective. Which business is going to rubbish this trip when it’ll open them opportunities to do business in Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique?…

  48. …what is surprising is; everytime he makes his visit it is stated that ”the president was invited.” surely why can’t he for once also invite? Tourist of the year winner is R.B.!!!..NALEKA!!.

  49. Most presidents have doctors & lawyers or something like that as their spouses. Call Sata Kaponya-at least we know he is qualified with the elite heads of states out there. Benangu…….tuma maids-turned wives and kindergatern teachers. Mwenvela bonse!

  50. Mr CAPITALIST @68 am made to wonder what you mean by “if you are a tax payer” So you unt? Dont be overshadowed by the free scholarship govt has awarded you-dubiously for that matter. I am proud iam a taxpayer. RDGP growth during reccession? Tell me which african country is still in the shackles of recession? The turn around is a global effect. It did not start with zambia to get out of recession, i for one did not even feel there was recession pa zed-but as a world at large. Openning of LCM my foot! You know how much these guys are been paid now & how many foerign prisoners are engaged there? You dont Know.NIchekeleko.Bumper harvest-do you read what happens pa zed? As am talking marketing this same maize is hell-Only RB & his ministers are able with easy.Interest rates sky rocketed with…

  51. If you are really an objective person, take a look at RB & then compare him with TANDI, two different people in two different worlds.

  52. “am made to wonder what you mean by “if you are a tax payer””

If you are a tax payer was a quote from #65.

“Dont be overshadowed by the free scholarship govt has awarded you-dubiously for that matter”

Prove I have been awarded a free scholarship from govt.

“RDGP growth during reccession? Tell me which african country is still in the shackles of recession? The turn around is a global effect. It did not start with zambia to get out of recession”

I never said it started with Zambia to get out of recession. Prove I said it started with Zambia to get out of recession.

I said Zambia achieved RGDP growth of over 6% during the global financial crisis.

  53. “Openning of LCM my foot! You know how much these guys are been paid now & how many foerign prisoners are engaged there?”

Did LCM re-open when it was facing collapse or not?

I never made any argument on how much the guys are being paid. Point out were I made that argument on my post on #68

“Bumper harvest-do you read what happens pa zed? As am talking marketing this same maize is hell-Only RB & his ministers are able with easy”

Did Zambia achieve a bumper harvest or not?

  54. “If you are really an objective person, take a look at RB & then compare him with TANDI, two different people in two different worlds. “

  56. #73-Mr. Capitalist, GeorgeWBush has nothing to prove in your statements. I think you have misunderstood him. Read his blog again and get his logic and not ifya prove prove prove, ala kwati ulichi mwaiche, prove ifinshi…

  57. RB will be remembered as the president who toured every corner of sub-Sahara. Marks out of ten= zero. He does not even need to be shown a red card but must simply be retired. From the look of things only nature will help us getrid of this RB muwelewele act.

  58. Hate him or love him. The country has done quite well economically according to macro statistics. this is reflected in IMF opinion and was one of the reasons that the IMF President visited Zambia. Even the world bank report show Zambia as a prefered business destination/.
Agriculture production is also up but the Governmnet seems not to have sorted out the marketing side.Copper production has contunued to grow and the job losses during the recession were minimal

  59. @ #77 Ghostrider

He has made accusations and straw-manned me. If you’re going to make accusations, you better have evidence to back it up.

  60. Mr Capitalist – china fimo fimo,

The President is wasting tax payers money tarvelling from one corner of the earth to the other when he has high commissioners and represenatives to do the same job. It hurts to be spend and realise zero business result if your income is genuine. You do not seen to read between lines that travelling is a cost!!!

  61. 2010
I am not surporting all his trips but please note that only the head of state can make certain decisions and when he makes a trip he signifies how importance attached to the issue at hand. Travelling is indeed a cost but then so are all investment just think of how expensive the trips that the Chinese premier makes ( he has enourmous delegations) but they certainly earn his country a lot espcially in terms of raw materials and markets .

  62. Mr Capitalist?

    Are you always this illiterate?
I suggest you stay off here until you learn to read and write…or at least stop sniffing the glue.

  63. All you guys defending this excessive travel saying it is productive brings in investement etc, if that is the case then Zambia should be one of the riches countries in the world by now!

  64. I would like to know when RB will visit Zambia for a state visit again . We miss him very much .Is he learning how to fly or what ? awe this is too much ,bachita ova ba RB .Even those of us who were supporting him for economic diplomacy are beginning to get embarrassed because its like he is now over doing it . How can a president visit more than 6 countries in one month sure ? What is the work of the ministers ? When does he ever sit down in his office and get to know details of what is happening in Zambia ? Is he campaigning to be the next AU chairman or what ? I guess Senior Citizen knows better since RB is his uncle .

    Complain about this comment

KWENA BOYI WALIBOLA MUKANWA,LANGUAGE KWATI NI TOIKO ATA,ni ba tate bako mwa?maybe you advise ba mudalah

  66. I don’t understand people who argue without basis. Supporting something for its own sake so to say. The points being missed are; a) One need not accept all invitations b) The large delegations are unnecessary c) Most of these so-called bilateral agreements can be signed by the respective ambassadors/high commissioners – besides these may be negotiated using modern technology d) The so-called improved economic indicators are on paper – statistical graphs and lines – not necessarily trickling down to the citizens on the ground e) RB can delegate some of the trips – with fewer people travelling with the VP or whichever minister he delegates to f) It is abundantly clear that RB wants to amass more money before he is kicked out g) Zambia is not rich enough to support such a travel budget

  67. Any Sales Person (which point the proponents of RB’s Visits are advancing) is justified in the course of carrying out thier duties to travel in sourcing the business. What is also true is that the benefits of such travels (tangible and intangible) can be quantified with ease. While experts can easily relate with intangible results, the lay person (or common man) can also relate with the tangible benefits. In the Zambian Context, there is no doubt what the experts and the lay persons have to say about the benefits of our Sales Person (RB). And it is clear to all what a good and qualified Sales Person should be doing in ensuring that the Zambian Budget is well managed.

  68. This is becoming ridiculous and stupid, while our taking austerity measures to cut their deficits we’re doing the opposite. Do we have Zambians in aviation industry to give us an estimation on how much these trips are costing us. Mwe Lesa kanshi want have done to have this man has our President. Enough said.

  69. #35 I agree with you ni sangwapo Zoona, mwa vionelanji. Bali basuba amfuta ya mbwa mu molu so kula pitanafye nge mbwa.

  70. #24 Engine fimo fimo if you were as educated as you are trying to sound, you would have simply ignored my ranting. Who are you to tell me how I should express myself? Clearly from your assumptions you are a peasant who has some how managed to leave the village and acquired a computer. Bugger off, twat.

  71. Why do those in favour of foolish rb always assume that those opposed to him belong to PF and are supporters of Sata?

  72. For me its really hard even to pass on making a comment..bushe ever since he came in the office always out of the country when does he tacle the issues facing the zambia, aybe wants to be called as one of the presidents that has visited the countries…sure zambians some of the zammbians up to now they even does’nt know who is the head of state..those supporting him kalilo bamumbwe….

  73. These flights were being missed whilst at the farm in Chipata or is it Katete. World records are being broken here!

  74. But its true RB achilamo fye. As if alechitila dala. He has never spent a week in his office since he became president. He is always out of the country.

Even us who were defending his useles travell cant do so any more. Ala ni ba chitongo tabakomfwe iyoo.
In Bemba they say that ‘ pa nsaka tapabula chiwelewele’ ala eba RB:

Now we are used to him as a muwelewele president.

  75. Ati ichitumbuwa ichi. Though the wife looks good in this pic.. ichinangwa cha President pa chalo!

  76. If you vote him back next year he will be taking an average of one to two tours of duty per week for five years! Cost of flying, paying the pilots, his entourage, acting Presidents and others for five years …..!

  77. This guy is not a PRESIDENT, someone should do something about this guy. I don’t even have words for him but all i can say is RB have a good time. Sata please make sure when you become the ZAMBIAN PRESIDENT, put this guy in PRISON for the MONEY he has spent on his WORLD TOURS. Make this guy pay the PRICE Mr.SATA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  78. #105: Are you sure? Atase, I will stop using my title, nkalabika fye ku last. Kusebana zo ona, after we suffer many years of pain then some guys bayafola fye for touring the salt pans of Botswana!! Ba ka.bwa!!
