  1. It is good that the so called Rasta Banda made an effort to be back for the independence day. Though some characters are mentioned here. Like the Sata,HH and Kafupi?Where did there celebrate this day. Or the guy who wrote did want to mention them for some reasons?

  2. RB should be tired with campaigns. I think it was wrong timing for by election around this time.
With all sincerity what has been/is in the mind of RB -MMD, Sata-PF and HH-UPND all around this week?
    answers:
    a. chilanga – mpulungu
    b.independence

  3. The problem with our African presidents is pride, they would want to spend all the resources of the nation on their pride. and spend nothing on the poor people whom they lead, just look at the car RB parades in

  4. Colonialism = Exploitation of black africans by europeans
Independence = Exploitation africans by fellow africans
    Difference = Same

  5. it has no sense to share a cake today,,, if all along our leaders are known in sharing insults,, sata,HH and Kafupi, you did well to remain home,,, hope you even went to church guys.

  6. Kafupi wud never want 2 attend a function where he knowss KK will be present lest it compromises his popularity. He knows he downplayed this day and coupled with his reputation with the public it might just work against him.

  7. Celebrate! What a joke! The Thugs we purchase Mercedes cars for have reason to celebrate.
What we shall not acknowledge is that we have FAILED. 46 years, nearly 50, what do we have to show for it?
The most important resource we are endowed with- OURSELVES, the People, the Zambian, we have put no resources, no planning to DEVELOP. If we dont start from here…

  8. The Time for Change is here, that time is 2011!! Change for progress!! We are purportedly celebrating a hollow independence – coz if the majority are sleeping with hunger, filth ,disease & in poverty, what is there to celebrate?? Who is RB celebrating with & at who’s expense?? This current presido has shown us where his heart lies – abroad!! Not at home! He sees no point in trying to save, for he has even been challenged to stand up & help univ students with their fees, but will he heed?? No!! His is to celebrate!!
Lets all give him & MMD – the movement hijacked from the people, the right message, which is a boot in their ***** in the forthcoming by-elections & 2011 – lets go with the Pact!!

  9. I am a proud Zambian more than happy to celebrate 46th birthday. This is especially now that we are making good strides foward. Viva Zambia

  10. Time to give Rupiah the boot. This man is a sangwapo president and the sooner he leaves the better. We r tired of his mediocrity. Let him go back to his farm in chipata.

  11. RB has only being president for two years, if u want the blame game then point your fingers to K.K or Chiluba, even Mwanawasa (MHSRIP). It didnt take 46yrs for the big economies in the world to get where they are today, but atleast there is PROGRESS and DEVELOPMENT

  12. Were there any foreign presidents who graced this event, seing as our president travels the continent to all occasions from the opening of a port in another country to the opening of an envelope?
