Sata is bitter, unsettled, say MMD youths

MMD youths on the Copperbelt have described Patriotic Front (PF) leader Michael Sata as a bitter politician who has been unsettled by President Rupiah Banda’s sound record of development.

Provincial youth chairperson Evans Chibanda said in Mufulira yesterday that the opposition leader and other critics were desperate to incite public hate against Mr Banda because of the impressive reputation he had continued to carve for himself.

Mr Chibanda said Mr Sata was heaving with bitter feelings because President Banda had ignored the opposition leader’s pettiness and instead concentrated on national development.

Reacting to a statement by the PF leader in yesterday’s Post that President Banda was running a corrupt Government, Mr Chibanda said Mr Sata and other critics of Mr Banda had nothing to offer to the country.

He said their only preoccupation was to orchestrate hatred in the minds of the Zambian people against President Banda.

It was amazing that Mr Sata was piling accusations of corruption on President Banda’s Government when global players such as the Millennium Challenge Corporation of the United States of America had acknowledged Zambia’s steady progress in its fight against the vice.

He said the MMD Government had set a firm foundation for the country’s economic development and that some opposition leaders unsettled by the steady progress were clinging to desperate tactics to counter what the ruling party was doing.

  1. Ala How can Master Sata be bitter when he is on the winning team next year (UPND/PF Pact). Now that George Kunda has realised the PACT wont break, he has stopped hallucinating or is it because he has reduced the ARV medication concentration? He has at least sobered up of late.

  2. Iwe ka boot licker, what did you say? uleicindika! uleicindika! uleicindika!
What do you know about sata? muli mamanta.

kuya bebele mu 2011. Thats how UNIP went, mwalaba? dont kubeba!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. My dear brothers pact will only stay if you put HH as your leader.. Even SATA knows this very well that he will not pull through without PACT so he is trying to buy time…!!! Before they announce that HH is the presidential candidate..!!! The post are very un happy about the whole thing so they are telling sata to go on his own..because HH will not accept to be vice to SATA. so those of you talking about pact must learn zambia politics better not just reading post dogs..!!!South region will not accept to be always supporting northern region.. Even those working on the pact presidential candidate must be very careful if this thing is to work this time around..otherwise, it will be another lost opportunity..!!!1

  4. Sorry, this is one of the most s.tupid articles of the year to come out of the mmd back side.

I shudder with fear to imagine that under the current senseless govt, our beautiful country is headed back to the stone age times

  5. Ba Yufi, it is RB who should be unsettled. Win or lose Sata will have nothing to worry about. But RB it is must win situation because if he loses he will dance PELETE. That is the reason you MMD are faking imaginary developmental achievements.

  6. What is this boy saying? No good record unsettles or embitters anyone. It is your RB’s poor record that has unsettled the Zambians; and we are unhappy because RB is wasting developmental resources on this love affair with Ndeke – always flying.

  7. Ba Chibanda your sister stella Chibanda togather with the owner of the virus infected tortoise computer Katele Kulumba, stole alot from Zambians. I know you from Mufulira. You where just a poor man before you sister stole from us Zambians.

  8. #1 MMD has resolved not to attack the PACT now. Logically, its better to have the PACT intact now than next year. Dont you agree?. So George Kunda’s silence on the PACT is strategic, he was told chill till next year. The PACT will definately crumble next year but, surely not now. Only the POST know this, that is why they tried to kill it some few months ago. Read the flow Zed politics. Mukadabwa sana boss next year.

  10. ZAMBIA WAS VOTED THE FASTEST GROWING ECONOMY IN SUBSAHRA AFRICA BY MIAMI CHAMBERS FOR DEVELOPING NATIONS. THOSE PROJECTS WHICH RB IS BUSY LAUNCHING SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED. RB IS DEFINATELY WINNING BY LANDSLIDE COME NEXT YEAR.

  12. #8 kelukan Sata – Are you sure this boy is Stella’s brother. What I know is that Stella is Mumba from Eastern Province and Chibanda is her marital name.

  13. Iwe Evans ikalafye. Your fera is when there is change of govt the govt in power will ask you the source of your wealth which you can’t explain even today. When you where fired from ZANACO mufulira you started selling bond papers those days at exobitant prices and from no where you bought buses and built that complex which have no occupants. You recently divorced with your wife who used to work in Barclays over your wealth. Find life man concentrate u business before you follow chris chalwe
