VICE President George Kunda says the MMD government has managed to accumulate over US$ 2 billion in foreign exchange reserves because of its prudent financial management.
However the Vice President has warned that the country risks having the foreign reserves plundered if Patriotic Front leader Micheal Sata and his UPND counterpart are voted into government in 2011, because of their insatiable appetite for the United States Dollar.
Addressing Livingstone residents who welcomed him at Livingstone International Airport today, the Vice President said the US$ 2 billion is with the Bank of Zambia.
He said the opposition were very desperate to get into government, in order for them to plunder the foreign exchange reserves which the MMD has been able to accumulate due to a sound economic environment it has created.
Vice President Kunda who is accompanied to Livingstone by Labour Minister Austin Liato said, the future for Zambia looks bright because of the country’s stable economic environment.
He said Mr. Sata and Mr. Hichilema would undoubtedly plunder the foreign exchange reserves which the MMD has worked hard for.
He appealed to people in Southern Province to vote for the MMD because it is the only party that can be entrusted with national resources.
Vice President Kunda said, with the rising copper prices on the international market, Zambia’s foreign exchange earnings were projected to increase further next year.

i think i follow George, he is saying it would be difficult to trust mr Sata with Cash. History has the tendency to repeat itself,Sata was the right hand man when FTJ was ransacking the treasury and he tried to prolong the plunder by carrying trunks of money to the 3rd term debate conference. Galloping away with poverty! 2 billion dollars is nothing. 50c has more money than what Zambia has in its Treasury. He has 400 million dollar mansion. All his monies is more than 5 billion dollars.What a shame for Zambia. We should relax our laws so that individual Zambian and foreigners can be allowed to own billions of dollars in Zambian banks. Wake up Zambia!!

George is one of the worst creatures that has ever lived in the forest of Zambia.It is a dangerous species that should be poached to extinction.The earlier we realise this the better.Otherwise,the animal has become rabied and will start biting who ever provokes it.The rantings and pantings from it’s month is too ghastly to contemplate.2011,all these animals that are causings us sleepless nights should be quarantined,castrated and deeped in the ballot box.They have become so used to roaming anywhere they want.They have become like chickens on free-range.It is high time we used a baddizo to castrate them so that they do not contaminate the generation to come.They have authorised a little pig to go scott free even after it messed our sty.The little pig is free roaming the gardens of Lusaka.
