MMD Spokesperson Dora Siliya has urged the people of Mufulira and the entire Copperbelt to reject Patriotic Front Leader Michael Sata in this year’s general elections because he is a failure who failed to bring any meaningful development in the country when he served in various MMD government portfolios.

Speaking when she addressed heads of government departments, parastals organizations , NGOs and members of the Civil society, Ms Siliya said in 1992 when Mr Sata was Minister of Local Government and Housing, the Copperbelt recorded the worst cases of Cholera which demonstrated his lack of leadership qualities.

Ms Siliya who is also Education Minister cautioned the people of Mufulira not to entrust the PF leader with running affairs of the nation because he flip- talks and is also inconsistent on many national issues a tendency that would make take the country backwards in development.

She said Mr. Sata has changed goal posts on several national issues such as the Constitution making process and the windfall tax among other serious national issues.

The Education Minister further cautioned civil servants against engaging in politics saying those interested in politics should resign and join politics.

And addressing MMD members at Bufuke Women club Hall, Ms siliya appealed to the people to vote for credible leaders who will bring development to their area.

[pullquote]She said the PF MPs have failed to take development to their constituencies despite receiving huge sums of many through CDF and people have now resolved to vote for the MMD for them to experience real development.[/pullquote]

She urged people not to base their voting on material and perishable things that they receive from politicians during campaigns.

Meanwhile Ms Siliya expressed confidence that the MMD will win this years elections on the Copperbelt because the people have tested the PF MPs leadership and are dissatisfied.

She said the PF MPs have failed to take development to their constituencies despite receiving huge sums of many through CDF and people have now resolved to vote for the MMD for them to experience real development.

She said the people have realized that the PF has no focus and plan to develop the country and that it is only the MMD that has a vision for this country.

  1. Ba Dora some times i wonder if you really know what you talk about. Even if you hate Sata so much regardless is short comings every body knows that Sata is very hard worker. So no matter how many lies you talk about Sata people have changed their minds to change government this year.

  2. Dora Dora Dora!! Yes many people who may read what you said were young in 1992 when Chimwemwe and surrounding townships were ravaged by Cholera. Cholera is a water-borne disease therefore to prevent it you must ensure that your people drink safe water. Should it breakout, authorities should ensure that no new cases add to the existing ones, those already infected do not die but get cured immediately. This brings to the fore a number of ministries and departments: Local government (for sanitation), Office of the VP (disaster management) and Ministry of Health (curative/prevention). The death rate from that outbreak has not been matched to date (ministry of health responsibility). Are you saying Dr Kawimbe is incompetent too (was Health Minister then) – Currently the MMD’s ……

  3. Are you also aware that mattress meant for patients (from MoH), grew legs between Lusaka and Kitwe? MMD shall always remain a dubious club and cannot change itself. Levy (MHSRIP) tried and failed. Even if God allowed him to reach this far, immediately he late power, likes of GK and RB would have arisen from incubation and undo his gains. PF may not be the best alternative – and best there shall never be – but an institutional shakeup is necessary!!

  4. Does anyone believe what this woman is saying any more? It seems like Sata and PF is really making these people have sleepless and horrible nightmares. Now they are attacking even each other indirectly. Amnesia is now creeping in.

  5. Madam, what have you done for Petauke central??? Your constituency? It is one of the most undeveloped in the country. As a Minister of Education what did you bring to schools in your constituency? You can not compare yourself to SATA. He works hard.

Worst of it all your scandals at Petauke district council. Don’t think your tu Tenge you corrupt old women voters with will bring anything this time around.

  6. Dora, can you explain the police housing project in Ndola for which 300 were budgeted for and money was released but in the end only 30 houses were built? Neither the 270 houses nor the money are unaccounted for. This isis the MMD at work.

  7. @LT, the photo in your story looks like Vera Tembo (Chiluba), or am I being color blind with an illusion? Ok, that aside, Dora is talking politics to civil servants and then warning them to refrain from politics unless they resign. I find this to be double standards. Why in the first place you address civil servants and attack a fellow politician (Sata)…? Be real Dora, you can’t fool everyone. The vote is secret and you wont know who voted who…!

  8. Dora must ask herself why a lot of people are leaving The Rupiah Banda (UNIPIST) Political Academy to Michael Chilufya Sata (Workaholics) Political Academy. In a spate of two weeks, how many people have trekked to PF? How many have trekked to MMD? You call them Flip Flops, yes, a person that does not change is not normal. When you see something going wrong, or someone committing a crime, the corruption in MMD, do you stay to eat with them or you jump ship to the side working for the people? Dora must ask herself how many flip flops she has done in other people’s beds. Probably she will stop calling hardworking Zambians as flip flops.

  9. The level of desperation being exhibited by MMD is sickening & frightening. Sata has proved to the nation that he is a hard worker. Just compare him to any minister who held the positions Sata held in govt.
What meaningful development if any has rupiah brought to the nation?
Worse still, what development have you (Dora) brought to the country’s education system?

  10. Dora, what did you do with George Chulumanda whenhe was ambassador in Mozambique on a trip to Mauritius? We know these things ka.

  11. :d dora how I wish you had sence in your head remember what you went though at znbc you where putting in minisket to atract your participant will no one was intrested. Until when you hooked our brother chisha folotiya because of his cash frow then but now u can’t even remember him. Your friends at znbc no gud pay you can’t even say a word for then am verry sorry for you young lady. Look at madaam chimanse she’s well repected even though she’s not a minister shem on you.

  12. when you want to sail on stormy seas you use a ship and not a banana boat which will capsize and cause everybody aboard to drown. and you use a captain to navigate the stormy waters and not a charlatan. sailing is not about guess work or magic wands, the captain has to have knowledge of navigation. this year pf is in such a predicament, wrong vessel for the wrong purpose, and a paddler instead of a captain.

  13. ba pf government, you are repeating yourself. We saw this on another string. What happened? Nishani yama, fyashota ifyakulanda?

  14. @Dora
You don’t have that reputation of a good minister or any cultured person. What we see in you is a person trying by all means to maintain power for herself not for the people. You use your ministerial position to call civil servants and talk politics to them much to their annoyance. You are wasting much air time, and you have been this best example of a failed broadcaster, ZNBC has moved from bad to worse under your administration.

  15. @pf government,u r myopic n shallow in ur thinking.which ship hve u eva seen in zambia?if we can’t even provide proper water transport u hve illusions of hving a ship pa zed.blog with sense n nt waste space n time putting nonsense.

  16. Your comments dora are rubbish! i meet you at Amsterdam airport on 3rd May 2006 you were wearing flip flops yourself, looked scruffy, dirty and cheap woman. Then today you are talking about SATA, takuli MMD this is the begining of the end. YOU ARE ALL GOING AND WE NEED PF GOVERNMENT.

  17. DORA YOU WILL BE WALKING IN THE SAME FLIP FLOP (PATAPATA) VERY SOON AND SATA WILL BE WILL BE SMILING IT IS JUST MATTER OF TIME SO JUST BE PREPARED FOR THE HARD TIME.. .

  18. DORA YOU ARE JUST TALKING RUBBISH,THE DAYS YOU WERE WITH ZNBC I ONCE GAVE YOU A LIFT IN MY CAR AS YOU WERE WAITING FOR THE UBZ BUS IN LONGACRES AND YOU WERE IN YOUR PATAPATA SO WHY TALK BAD ABOUT SATA.. SATA WILL BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT VERY SOON AND I DONT KNOW WHERE YOU WILL BE HIDDING BECAUSE SATA WILL FISH YOU OUT WHERE EVER YOU WILL BE HIDDING.. MAYBE YOUR NEXT EXIT WILL BE TO JOBURG WHERE YOU HAVE BUILT YOURSELF A BIG MANSION WITH THE ZAMTEL MONEY.

  19. Sata is the undisputed winner! blame G Kunda and RB for the riots in which innocent protesters were killed. this has now become Syria and middle east. and Dora will aways be associated with prostitution she is running a brotherl in matero. dora changes men everyday. she is on ARV

  20. Ba LT pleas dont sensor out that DORA SILIYA is well known to be a cheap LI YULE of lusaka and she on ARV. Ba banda ba la lasa po

  21. I wonder how the mmd defines the word CAMPAIGN because everywhere they go,its Sata they talk about.Do they have a minifesto or some kind of plan on how to sale themselves and rbish. There should be a limit to demonisation of opponents, unfortunately, mmd has passed that limit and are now campaigning for Sata indirectly. This will cost you ba mmd.

  22. Mr. Sata is very inconsistent on a lot of issues that you cannot trust him. Not only does he flip flop on important national issues, he also spouts 90 day economic rubbish which only his supporters believe.

How anyone can believe and trust the rubbish that comes out of Mr. Sata’s mouth is beyond me. I have asked how Mr. Sata is going to achieve the 90 day rubbish he spouts and ABSOLUTELY NO ONE till date has given me a convincing argument.

Ms. Siliya is right. Reject Mr. Sata and his PF. Zambia has made a lot of progress. We cannot risk going the route of Uganda (when Idi Amini was in power) by giving the presidency to a lunatic like Mr. Sata.

  23. Mr Capitalist-3 E’s@ 23

Why are you still on about the 90 days? if you don’t get it then best you be ignored

As for Dora Siliya, Please do not try and force civil servants into your cheap politics, you have traveled the world do you ever find female ministers insulting or distributing porn? No
For once be a lady, stop depending on those tired fat legs, you are soon headed to the scrap bin, by now you C.U.N.T muscles are tired soon no one will want to swim in your Baden

  24. Ba Dora, you are our leader not the leader of MMD. Sometimes l find it difficult to appreciate women who talk they way you are doing without respect sometimes. But what had be helping me is to realise that you are speaking because of the office you occupy. Otherwise it could lead for others like me to assume that you are hiding something through those speeches that sometime seem to project hatred.

  25. insults, especially in “deep” bemba, are a pf trade mark, and the following sunday they go to church. just listen to bwana sata speaking at a rally he held some time ago and which chanda chimba iii played back in the previos episode of stand up for zambia on znbc tv and muvi tv. at that rally bwana sata used his trade mark bemba insults to really vent his anger at levy for the simple reason that he sata had not being annointed president by fjt. at that rally bwana sata went to town in his native language with all sorts of his trade mark bemba insults. man, the whole rally on a saturday afternoon was bemba insults. the following day was sunday and as usual bwana sata went to church and took holy communion. surely can God give the presidency to such a man?

    • Continue talking about what Sata said or did to Levy but remember this Levy died forgiving Michael. Let us all learn not to judge each other. We all sin against others and God in the confines our bodies (thoughts) and walls/darkness(secrets)

  26. dora should starting wearing pit cot first! i dont like Dora at all. i hated her right at the RP capitals. this woman doesnt have any morals to talk to the people of Zambia. i hope one she will go to jail

  27. Education in Zambia is crying out for big reforms. Instead we have a woman who has no focus on her portfolio. At least Geoff Lungwangwa had passion for education.

  28. If Zambia is truly a CHRISTIAN nation then we should not be listening to this JEZEBEL!
She will sell the country, she has no morals.

  29. I see even Senior Citizen and Chief MMD Bootlicker have both gone into hiding or oblivion, when it comes to the subject of defending Dora! How do you defend trash? Hule? Fulusasa? Makwenkwe? But believe me, we shall see Dora creating a bloodless d’état against her rival Thandie! Advice to Thandie, Mwaiche ichikupempula…….

  30. Dora! Ulimuchibe. The quilty are always afraid. For sure you know Sata will sort you out and every one knows why you are in such panic. Tulamweba, munshwufwa a ile namafi kubuko.Uyu mwaka behinde the Bars mukalakumbwa ne shilu lilenwa Fanta yapachishala.
