Wynter Kabimba is ignorant of the law-Kunda

Time Posted: August 16, 2011 9:18 am

Vice President George Kunda

VICE-PRESIDENT George Kunda has said Patriotic Front (PF) secretary general Wynter Kabimba is ignorant of the law and that is why he took frivolous cases against him and President Rupiah Banda to court.

And Mr Kunda has said calls for change of Government by the opposition are unfounded as the MMD Government has remained steadfast in fostering national development.

Addressing a rally at Kapeshi Basic School grounds in Serenje yesterday, Mr Kunda said it was illogical for Mr Kabimba and his cronies to challenge the parentage of President Banda now when he is Head of State and has been a minister before.

He said the opposition PF had failed to garner support from the Zambian people ahead of the September 20 elections that is why it has desperately resorted to going to court over cases it knows it could never win.

“They have gone to court to try and stop President Banda as a candidate allegedly on a basis that his parents are not Zambian when he is already our president.

“He has been minister before, he was elected president in 2008 and surely today they say he does not qualify to stand? Does it make any sense? No, but they are just confused,” Mr Kunda said.

He said the action by the PF and Mr Kabimba to take President Banda to court was malicious and that it was not surprising that it was thrown out.

“I am a State counsel myself and I knew that there was no way he could win such a case, which was malicious. Kabimba is mischievous. He misled everybody over the case and now it has been thrown out,” Mr Kunda said.

He said Zambia needed President Banda because he was hard-working and was governing the country well.

Mr Kunda said after Mr Kabimba and his sympathisers lost the parentage case against President Banda, he decided to take him to court on grounds that he should cease to be vice-president.

“The court action was malicious and vindictive that was why it was summarily dismissed. It was an ignorant action by Kabimba.

“These people are really scared of me and President Banda that is why they are acting desperately,” he said.

He said the people of Zambia had seen that the MMD Government was working well in developing Zambia and they would re-elect President Banda and his team.

Mr Kunda said there was no need to remove the MMD from power because the ruling party was ably delivering on its promises.

“The opposition has nothing to offer other than empty promises. What change are they talking about when we are already delivering on development as MMD?” he said.

Spot on GK!!How do you expect someone who has never won a case in court to give you any sensible interpratation of the law.He is a disgrace to the law fraternity and even his father knows it.Moreover that is the best PF has to offer!!

Kunda is a **** and property grabber. He should just go and help his wife from her court case. We shall see what will remain of the red lips when the opposition take over govt.

Homes Affairs Minister Lameck Mangani has charged that Wynter Kabimba is the most inept secretary-general the Patriotic Front (PF) has ever had.

Mr Mangani has also revealed that he has impeccable information that Mr Kabimba was only hanging on in the party because PF president Michael Sata was keeping a damning dossier on his dealings while he was Lusaka town clerk fearing that it may be exposed if he dared cut links with him.

Please read the Item titled ‘Mangani takes swipe at Wynter Kabimba’ above! Thank God for allowing GRZ to free the media and for giving us the ability to remember what these crooks have been doing! Actually GK’s statement is just a repeat of what Mangani knew in 2010!

Maybe he is ignorant of the law… But with the kind of judiciary that we have in this country, is it really possible to judge a lawyer capacity in cases involving the State?

Anybody who dares hire Kabimba as a defence lawyer is in effect sentencing himself to a long jail term. Kabimba is a dull lawyer who has never won a case. How can he win one against some of the most astute lawyers of this land? Kabimba has cost the opposition a chance at the elections because he effectively broke-off the two parties in the so called ‘pact’ Weren’t some individuals excited over the pact?

So this rally was all about telling people what they know already? The dim villagers must have gone to their huts happy. I feel sorry for them.

Is this time to be telling them this? Tell those villagers what you are going to do for the and how not bragging to them about your qualifications which they won’t even understand. Jesus Africa needs prayers.

Good lawyers have won cases against the State. Bad ones like Winter cannot win a single case.Strangely, the PF still have confidence in the man. You mean the Party hasn’t got other Lawyers? Of course don’t ask Sebastian Zulu to hand the cases either. The man is worse!

The biggest disappointment in Zed politics is George he is worse than the lowliest cadre living in ZED. To think that a few years ago he was among the intelligent lawyers in the country and one of the best LAZ presidents. He was also part of the team that founded SADC Lawyers Association. Awe may lunacy return to him after sept 20th.

PF leadership is composed of very dull people and an Under Stadard 5 in education as their leader. I hope ““These people are really scared of me and President Banda that is why they are acting desperately,” he [Vice President George Kunda] said” will help voters to stop wasting time on unprepared PF so that they support the winning UPND Team.

    Be blest all.

Imagine being ill. Then you are told that mobile hospitals are actually in the neigbourhood. You take a cab to reach there, then you find the mobile has just travelled to the next town. You buy a ticket and get on a bus to get there. On your way, you by-pass the mobile hospitals. On reaching the target town, you get word that actually, the mobile hospital has broken down somewhere in the bush due to bad roads. So have to find somewhere to sleep and start back next day. It’s a jooooke people. How can a president, his kapasoz and all in between be so dull?? They are bunch of jokers. Vote them urgently please!!!

Can any MMD supporter on this blog tell how that speech above by the very educated vice president is an outline of how a man in Mandevu compound is assured of sending his children to a good school and putting food on his table, if MMD is brought back to power? How does everything that this man has said make my life better?
