Veteran politician Vernon Mwaanga has urged people of Southern province to reject politics of tribalism.
Mr Mwaanga says it is the wish of President Rupiah Banda to work with all Zambians including people of Southern Province.
He says the people of Southern Province are industrious and should therefore embrace the historic opportunity to work with President Rupiah Banda.
Mr Mwaanga was speaking during a mammoth rally in Munyumbwe Gwembe district on his continued campaign tour of Southern province.
He says there is need for people in the Province to focus on building a better and more prosperous Zambia.
Mr Mwaanga has appealed to the people of Southern Province to vote for President Banda because he deserves another mandate in order for him to continue with his development crusade.

Why is Sata and RB not debating  as well…So far HH is taking grounds for having debated very well. We need Sata and RB to debate so the nation can make an informed decision. What are they scared or hiding?

mwanga to be honest, the winning of MMD just benefits you and not the people of Southern province, we know you just want to continue benefiting on free medicals to South Africa with you sickness, but remember the province is much bigger and more important than you as an individual. They were shootings in Siavonga and Mazabuka conducted by Rupiah Banda’s police, then you tell the people to vote for Banda just for your own benefits in medicals, shame you tax dependants who has never known how to fend for yourself. SP is again going HH no matter how many names you call them. You can even insult them the way you want, you just make them strong to vote for HH. They sacrificed in 1991 100% voting for MMD of chiluba but were disappointed that he never cared for what they value.

Mwaanga, when you tell the people of Southern Province to reject tribalism and vote for Banda, then tell the people of Eastern Province to reject tribalism and vote for Hichilema and/or Sata. And tell the people of Northern Province to reject tribalism and vote for Milupi, Hichilema or Banda. You get the thread? Otherwise, you have mental issues (tribalistic yourself, inferiority complex, self hatred) if you single out one province.

VJ has never insulted anyone in a campaign he might refer to some short coming on an individual but insults have not been his back and all.. SP is a great province it has wlays been one of the fast developing and could do much more in an undivided country..because of limited choice we say RB we wnat to dedicate 5 years to preparation for a proper election when a fresh crop of leaders will step forward to be considered for President.

When people vote for a vibrant, wealthy & intelligent hard worker like HH he calls it tribalism, but when others vote for their fellow tribesman, who has a history of failure & defaulter on loans, he says its the right thing. At this point in Zambia’s history, you needed to ask the Southern Province people as well as all other Zambians to only vote for sensible leaders to become President, MPs and Councillors. Zambians or Southerners do not need to vote got MMD president RB Banda just for the sake of giving him another term of office as President of Zambia, but need to elect a Zambian President who is fit to be in such office because his life is exemplary and who takes politics as a service instead of a career to enrich him or herself.

Already the same tribe is already pushing for Chipimo for 2016 general elctions because they think only certain tribes must lead Zambia.

Remember last week when HH said he would pay a minimum wage of K5m from windfall tax and smart bloggers challenged him on the sustainability of this consumption theory? Now HH says he will use the winfall tax for improvement of education and health systems. At least he got the message of putting the cart before the hose( consumption before production). He still scares me.
