Share

An overwhelming 24 players turned up for the Zambia camp ahead of the team’s trip to India on Tuesday.

Even dropped defenders Oswald Kalamba from DR Congo side Lupopo and Daudi Musekwa of Zesco United both turned up in camp.

Also in camp was the Power Dynamos duo of midfielder Emmanuel Chimpinde and goalkeeper Joshua Titma who, like Kalamba and Musekwa, were not on the revised list of 20 players flying out to India on Tuesday.

  1. I hope the coaches will focus on building a stronger defense for Africa cup, but also take a look at the 2 Nkana boys. They need to take place of the Katongo brothers.
But again he is using goalkeeping suspects. Did he ever watch the Mazabuka United goalkeeper? He might be the best Zambian shot-stopper, I hope he speaks english.

  2. FAZ, don’t let Herve Renard to use the national team as an opportunity to visit his long perceived tourist attraction in the world. There is nothing to learn about football in India unless he wants to turn the national football team into national cricket team. Try to work on improving the standards of football, please!

  3. Guys, how many of these names mentioned will be included in the AFCON line-up? 99% of the guys who will feature for the Africa cup are not mentioned. So why take a bunch of guys who will not even taken part in the competition? What a waste.

  4. This is marubbish playing india is like playing livingstone pirates or chiparamba academy. Why is FAZ wasting tax payers money,Mr shamenda are you part of this?.

  5. This must be an all expense paid for trip by the FAZ of India since they are the onez who want to learn a thing or two about football.

  6. No1 he doesnt need English.Efford Chabala never spoke any English whe he took up the zambian No 1 seat.

I dont rate renard at all though.I think we have gone backwards rather than forward in recruiting him.We should have scrutinised why and how he was reappointed.Seems its us begging this guy rather than him fighting for the position

  7. India is indeed a time waster for our team why not a country in south america at least those are footballing nations.why cant this india trip be blocked or it is late?

  8. Kuli Ba Mwenye nako kulibola? Which teams are they going to play, CALCULTA UNITED OR BOMBAY SWALLOWS? Nangu NEW DEHLI DYNAMOS? In all likelihood which ever team they play can only be at the level of FAZ Division 6!!! This is a recipe for disaster!!

  9. #1 YOU’R RIGHT, I’VE ALSO HEARD ALOT ABOUT THIS MAZABUKA UNITED GOALIE, MR. RENARD, HAVE YOU HAD A SERIOUS LOOK AT HIM?

  10. india??? so that coach has planted a girl in bloody india for xmas fun….we know him..he is always hanging around nightclubs…not good for the national team…but what can change if the same admini…is still at FAZ. i just don’t understand y these chaps at FAZ including kalu are untouchables.. obviously the problem starts from FIFA and thats why those rusty fifa bosses must first go..after that we won’t be threatened of match bans once we kick out kalu and this hopeless french comeback kid.
