Kambwili Comforts Wounded Nkana

Share

Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili has comforted Nkana following their heavy defeat to town mates Power Dynamos on Saturday.
Power crushed Nkana 5-1 at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium to stun Linos Makwaza and end his unbeaten run at the helm of the Wusakile side against his former club from three encounters.

Kambwili said Nkana’s loss in Ndola was not the end of the world because the team has a chance to revenge the loss in the return match.

“Losing the first round game is not the end of the world. They can come and revenge when they play the return match,” he said.

“As you know, league games are played twice. I can ony urge the team to work hard,” Kambwili added.

Last season, Nkana beat Power 1-0 in the return match at Arthur Davies Stadium after the first round encounter had ended in a stalemet at Nkana Stadium.

  1. There he goes again doesn’t this man relies that he is a Minister of Sport, not just a mere MP for Roan constitutency.

    • Jay Jay you are dull, the minister is comforting Nkana for the loss which is a normal thing to do in any situation.Did toy expect him to renounce Nkana?think b4 you comment

  2. @jay jay, u will die from heart attack and age fast like this imbecile hh. Kambwili is just hard working

  3. but kuluusa oku ayi 5-1. Elo abalelanda nabo ati revenge, kuti wachita revenge 5-1 iwe !?
bushe bu minister kulalandalandafye ?! Limo kwikalako na tondolo so that headline yaisa bako ati: “Kambwili says nothing” !

  4. Watching those 2 games at our newly built stadium, wonder why so many zedians are still brainwashed and colonised in their heads coz the football displayed by the 4 teams was superior quality compared to the english premier league football

  5. #6 this is wishful thinking. Though it was nice to have watched those games and surely as African Champs, we deserve to up the local game. But to say the EPL is lower to those teams that played that day is wishful thinking. EPL teams have international stars from all over the globe that have played serious top level football.

  6. Hon MP Kambwili on it again,he wants to Nkana Football Club more than Power 90.This Minister suppilies me a lot.If anything he is surposed to be neutral to all sports displans

  7. I don’t understand you people, there is totally nothing wrong with a minister supporting a team of his choice. Hon Kambwili is not out of order in any way…and whats wrong with you people always wanting to criticize even where its not necessary. If I was minister I would say the same as well, go Kambwili you are doing a good job.

  8. Kambwili, pliz know your limits. Why do you have something to say at all times? Start spending more time thinking than talking. You are a shameless cadre.

  9. @#8Tony Blair, I beg to differ with you on comapring our premier league to EPL. i watched the two games and i have been watching Zesco at tarde fair grounds. my anlysis is we have improved a bit but we still need to do more, EPL like many eaupean clubs and leagues are so advanced than us and we need to accept it. basically its the funding that matters. they pump in so much cash and attract the best of the world to play in those leagues. we still far. power is playing very good football amongst those four who played followed by nchanga then zesco then nkana. Power-Nkana game was very good close to some EPL gamnes we watch soemtimes.

  10. We shall bounce back and beat these kids ba power. It is just that we smoked too much dobo that is why we lost.

  11. I love Zesco United bcoz we speak with results! The Levy staduim is marvellous, i enjoyed every moment. Now we need a 5 star hotel in Ndola bcoz all the “good” hotels on the copperbelt like savoy, mukuba, edinburg, moba and protea are all 3 star. Ba Zema please sort out those enviromental issues fast and allow Protea to proceed with their hotel in Ndola
