  1. President Sata honoured PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba for his professional legal advice regarding various bodies and local government authorities as well as his contribution towards the first Draft Constitution

One wonders if this was the right forum to honour a party cadre for misdirecting him in legal matters.  Ukwa at it again.

  2. From Honouring that slogan Chanting Dandy Crazy to Wynter Kabimba! awe these honours have completely lost meaning…..I would personally refuse to be put in the same shoes as Wynter without any record of any successful legal suit won.

  3. Honouring Winter, does not carry alot of weight. Who doesn’t know that Winter is a typical CADRE?

  4. Hasn’t April fools day past? So why is Sata honoring Wynter Kabimba? There is really bootlicking of the Kaunda’s going on.We all love Mama Betty and its nice she was honored just hope Sata is not trying to USE our beloved KK and his wife.

  5. Nice pics first lady looks great very beautiful, she knows how to dress, educated and she fits to be called first lady above all she is better first lady than THandiwe Banda by far far far far.

  6. well Mama Betty Kaunda deserves to be honoured but Winter Kabimba and Muwana the drunkard yoyoyoyoyo…comedy at its best.

  7. A heap of nonsense! Will somebody be honoured for his contributions to the second draft and final constitution? Education is very important batu! So Ukwa finds it difficult to wait for the final constitution document? This presidency seems to centre around irrelevant public appearances! boring!boring!boring!

    • Evidence to the contrary. You are educated yet you have done absolutely nothing noteworthy. There are many people like you in every nation on this earth. I call them educated ignoramus.

    • I agree, why are these people in Ukraine so noisy, they think they are more educated when they spend more time trying to hide from the Ukrainians who don`t want to see them in the their country, in retaliation they keep writing negative things here all the time. shame on you !!!!! write something that is encouraging at times. A sign of being royal and a good citizen to your country

  8. ALL THE PICTURES ARE SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. BUT MY FAVOURITE IS PICTURE #1. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL HONOURED PEOPLE. THEY DESERVE IT-PERIOD.

  9. The state can do well to give the former first lady an electric wheel chair. Mama Betty deserves many more awards. May she live long!

  10. Thanks for the pics.
The country needs serious investment in infrastructure, just look at the grounds where these ceremonies were taking place in Kasama. Its such a sorry site and looks like a war zone.
Zambia is not a poor country but has had extremely selfish and poor managers for its resources. Hope devolution will take equitable development to all parts of the country not just Lusaka alone

  11. LT, any audio re: the singing Freedom Fighter’s song.

We miss Mr Mpundu Mutale, who was neglected. MHSRIP.

  12. Pic 9 and 10, tell you what an absolute sorry sight Kasama is……and thats what will become of the whole nation if people aloow it.

  13. #13. DON’T EVEN TALK OF GUY SCOTT. PRACTICALLY, HE IS MORE ZAMBIAN THAN EVEN YOURSELF. GUY SCOTT HAS BEEN TO PLACES IN ZAMBIA WERE YOU WOULD SHUN TO GO. HE HAS DONE A LOT TO ZAMBIANS THAN YOU WHO HAS RUN AWAY FROM PROBLEMS. MOREOVER, HE IS AN EMPLOYER IN ZAMBIA NOT OVERSEAS. HE HAS STOOD ALL THE ECONOMIC TABULANCES IN ZAMBIA. YOURSEF AND I HAVE RUN AWAY FROM ZAMBIA. DO YOU WANT SATA TO HONOUR AND FOR WHAT?

  14. #15 VERY GOOD COMMENT AND I AGREE WITH YOU- ZAMBIA NEED TO INVEST IN INFRASTRUCTURE AND WE HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR THAT.

  15. So ba Sata was the adversary of these freedom fighters back in the days when he was part of the colonial police force?

  16. #9 & 10 I would rather be here where it is clean than in the fifth streets of Lusaka. Nice to see mama Betty being honoured. But why Honour Wynter at this time? Cell phone in pic 1. Out of place even if it is not an iPhone or Blackberry.

    • Americans would rather eat their own sh!t than another person’s ice cream. If it is American, no matter how stinky, it is Great American Sh!t and they love it! You, on the other hand,….

  17. The pictures make for lovely reflections of where we come from, but why are we so bad at arranging ceremonial functions – even DRC people who have institutional problems would have made this function more colourful… Look at the tents at state house and the cameramen’s platform, can we really blame this level of disorganisation on poverty or lack of funds? My answer is an emphatic NO, we’ve just become so used to mediocrity to even notice it!

  18. Thank you Mr President for honouring the founding mother, Mama Betty Kaunda as well as other freedom fighters both deceased and alive. The first picture is so good.

  19. Great Pictures, a Tale for a Great Nation. One Zambia One Nation!!!! @ 15 Well Observed?? True, we need to look after these elders.
