President Sata accuse former President Rupiah banda of tribalism

Share

President Michael Sata

PRESIDENT Sata has said that he is hugely disappointed that his predecessor Rupiah Banda is allegedly using a tribal card to determine who should be Zambia’s next President. The Post, in yesterday’s edition, reported that Mr Banda wants UPND president Hakainde Hichilema, a Tonga, to lead the future alliance with the MMD because he does not want Bembas to rule again. New MMD president Nevers Mumba is Bemba.

In a strongly-worded statement, President Sata says the alleged manoeuvres by Mr Banda to divide Zambians by pitting different ethnic groupings against each other, are highly regrettable.

“However, we are comforted because Zambians know Mr Banda when it comes to tribalism. His record at NAMBOARD, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as Lusaka district governor speaks for itself. It is this record that makes him feel at home when dealing with certain well-known tribally-based political establishments in the country,” the President says.

In a statement released in Lusaka yesterday by the President’s special assistant for press and public relations George Chellah, Mr Sata wonders why Mr Banda feels he should determine the race, tribe or region a head of State should come from. [pullquote]“The nation will appreciate that Mr Banda has a lot in common with those who practise tribal politics. Firstly, Mr Banda and his newfound friends sadly look at issues from an ethnic perspective and are driven by egos, greed and selfishness in their quest for power,” he said.[/pullquote]

Mr Sata said Zambians are united and have been living in harmony since independence. He said it is, therefore, heartbreaking that Mr Banda is trying to incite tribes to satisfy his ego.

“The nation will appreciate that Mr Banda has a lot in common with those who practise tribal politics. Firstly, Mr Banda and his newfound friends sadly look at issues from an ethnic perspective and are driven by egos, greed and selfishness in their quest for power,” he said.

The President said it is a pity that Mr Banda and his allies are taking ‘too’ long to heal from the wounds of defeat in last year’s general elections. He said the former President and his friends are in a perpetual desire for elections, to try to avenge their defeat, at the expense of Zambians whom they claim they want to serve.

Mr Sata said unlike his opponents, he is in politics to benefit all Zambians, regardless of their political affiliation, tribe and race. He said his administration will therefore not be dragged into personal tribal wars as the PF administration is an all-inclusive government which belongs to all Zambians.

The President said the PF government is pre-occupied with efforts to fight corruption, reduce poverty, improve the performance of the economy and create decent jobs for all. “No doubt, the corruption in Mr Banda’s administration was too much and as a result, Zambians have been calling for the lifting of his immunity but we will only do that once we have completed our duty to demonstrate to our people just how corrupt he was,” he said.

Mr Sata said government will concentrate on fulfilling its campaign promises, adding that those obsessed with tribalism and bitterness should extricate themselves from the self-inflicted shackles.
“Our only hope is that they quickly outgrow their destructive type of politics and become a bit more useful to the country,” the President said.

  1. Hahaha very funny sir, were is my sweet from Uk.what did you bring me? did you see the queen?can not wait sir

  2. plz sata try one day to reason…..the problem which i hv notes is that u don’t reason….dull president in zambian history…..ndeloleshafye

  3. President Sata is head of a system of closure under which the Bemba speaking ethnic group derives privalege corruptily and through nepotism at the expense of other ethnic Zambians. For once Rupiah Banda is correct.

  4. HaHaha, pot calling a kettle black. Why is it that tribalism has become so popular in this administration. Can a PF dunderhead reply. Why is it that PF is associated mainly with a certain tribe.

  5. Oh please, at least tell us where you went and why?

This is what happens to an administration marred in mediocrity. Even if RB is wheel dealing between MMD and UPND, how does that affect your campaign promise fulfilment?

Frankly,  Mr President,  it is non of your business and just keep the eye on the ball and stop wallowing in gutter journalism from the POST Newspaper.

You are no longer in the opposition and but ruling and the elections are not on until 2016 please and deals being made by the opposition are irrelevant really to the execution of your plans, if you have any.

That is hy you should have been in China than being home and dubbing is this kind of low life staff. Grow up and be the president of Zambia for once.

  6. Dear Mr president we have more important things to talk about,do not be cheap sir.yes concentrate on fulfilling your campaign promises.zambians will not forget what you promised them.you are now in GRZ you should have started working like yesterday.Coming to you press and public relations George Chellah why dot you tell us how you spent out money in Uk?

  7. Ba Sata, Your health as well as national challenges squarely mounting on your shoulders do not offer you a window of opportunity to go on with such drivel. Sorry you can’t just keep on with a leadership of resorting to hyperventilation.Time is against you yet typical of deviants you are delivering zero hope to a population lied to now disillusioned to the edge of implosion. Every year the education system is downloading multitudes of hopeless youths desperate for a future. These are part of an army of revolutionaries you may fail to pacify not long from now. Forewarning is forearming. This is free advise free for the taking.

  8. In a democracy RB like any citizen has rights of speech, association and movement. He can therefore freely offer advise to any entity of his choice be it for re-alignment or not but Zambian are rational actors on what they see and hear.

    • Mwaiche Pragmatist,Just accept that Sata did something that you least expected.Beat you the MMD at your own game, fair and square.I remember how you were so confident that the MMD would rule for a very long time. You and your VJ are now watching on the side lines.Life has a sense of humour.

  9. CAN SOMEONE dispute the fact that Rupia banda was fired twice by KK for tribalism and incompetence? there has been a lot of tribal talk and the PF as the government of the day they are doing good to speak against it. non can deny the fact that HH is tribalist and so is RB. this is what is standing in HH’s way to plot one. since the demise of Mazoka, UPND has been rightly seen as a tribal party.

    • Brother you are talking about tribalism,i think that you are the one who is tribalism not HH,because you are always talking againest HH why?

    • Interesting. Those that point a finger at others always forget that the other 3 fingers are pointing at them.

    • Talking about it and practicing it are two different things..what sata is doing is blind folding u that tribalism is bad when infact he is busy practicing it

    • it was done by hh watchdog cyber space paper – holds no water – zambia politics very interesting – don’t appoint our mps and later you cry of tribalism – very funny indeed

  10. Don t know whether  it’s lack of patriotism or u
Just want to criticise our  president for the sake of it :
Firstly fellow country men , let’s criticise with an element of respect   for the elderly – lets not loose our culture .
Secondly what the republican president is saying is true-
There shOuld  be no room for tribalism in politics ; whatever tribe the next president comes from is not upto one person but the Zambian electorate

    • He’s not exactly leading by example is he? tribalism came into pass with the current government in power…PF = TRIBAL

  11. I think u heard alot from Uk prep Olympics about tribalism and racist, just talk sense as a head of state – what about tribal issue when yoself u are and marketing through ASIA & QUEEN palace

  12. Way to go RB, you are just representing our feelings, by our I mean non bemba and non family forest members. Let the beneficiaries continue idolizing. Let me put it in their own tongue. “Lesa wabonse elyo kabili nimalyotola.”

  13. He must just tell us were he went with our tax payers money not strating accusing RB who lost the election already – ha alot more issue he can be addressing than himself busy campaigning before time

  14. Mr Sata said Zambians are united and have been living in harmony since independence until he came on the scene…….

  15. Its you who has divided Zambia beyond repair and now you want to throw the blame on RB.Let each region in Zambia rule itself

  16. PF is the one which is tribal to the core. Pls we have accepted that PF is driven by one region hence the over 70% of key positions in this nation have gone that way, but at least spare us from being lectured by Mm’embe through his call-boy Chella and work on the rossy promises you gave us.

  17. Where was HEMCS when Sampa was passing the tribal remarks against one tribe in parliament? Who said ‘the lamba should not rule us’, he is only targeting the bembas in this corruption fight (when FTJ was taken to court over corruption cases)? The list goes on. Please Mr President, be real for once and take responsibility. You come out all guns out on a rumor started by your friend Mmembe. Fulfill your promises kwasila.

  18. Who is a Tribalist and who is not a Tribalist? We are all Tribalists, whether you pretend or not. But the issue coming so prominently from Zambia politics is fact that UPND comes third after PF and MMD. PF and MMD are headed by Bembas and the two parties have the majority support in the national election as things stand to date. The next struggle is indeed between UPND and MMD leadership, if they are to form an alliance, who should be leader, HH with minority or Nevers with majority parliamentary seats? Its tricky for the ‘me, myself and I’ must lead. History repeating itself, we have been there before . Unless Nevers will let go his impelling ambitions, giving up majority MPs and be lead by HH who has minority MPs the alliance will never work.  I doubt if Lupia’s judgement is correct.

  19. Mr President, RB was accussed of tribalism 30 years ago. You are the most tribal president Zambia has ever had in 48 years, so please concentrate on delivering your false promises instead of attacking our wise former head of state. If you can’t convince yourself that you are a tribalist, get a list of your cabinet ministers, permanent secretaries, parastatal chiefs and diplomatic staff and stand in front of a mirror and shout : ‘ Yes I am a tribalist and I need to change my ways’.

  20. President Sata is the most tribal president Zambia has ever produced, imagine out of 16 cabinet ministers 12 are Bembas, where are the other 72 tribes of this country? Can someone look at the full cabinet ministers its all Bemba, its the first time this has happen in our Country. Am Bemba but i think i can not support this, i feel shamed, the president can land us in trouble one day if not taken seriously.

    • Southern tribal party has refused its mps to be appointed minister – pf has no mps from tonga land – now Nevers MMD has threatened to expel even the non bembas appointed by THE PRESIDENT meant to balance the tribal thing – what do you people realy want – balance the tribal thing but don’t appoint our tongas – very funny

  22. PF, don’t think that Zambians are fools and are not seeing what is happening. Sata has appointed almost 95% of his cabinet is from one province. Why should you fool zambians like that? do you think we ar not educated to see what you are doing? Just shut up and stop pointing a fingure. We have wrong people all together. shame!!!

    • @twaliwina, i m sorry to say but you are a bitch!!! So if a kaponya person helps you get into power, does that mean you still have to give him a civil position as a reward??? there are many ways of rewarding them, not at our expense… Are you one of the stupid pigs that were given a laptop to write rubbish on our sites? Bitch!!!

  24. This fool just wants to use this smoke screen to dogde questions on his recent whereabouts. Knowing Zambians i know he has already managed to fool a few…..but he will never fool everyone.

  25. It’s very regrettable, RB should have learned from his friend Jonas Savimbi that tribalism does not work

    • We have forgotten because he “RB” is not the problem…Sata is! whether you like like it all not Sata stinks of tribalism and he is just looking for a scape goat. he knows he is the chief offender here…

  26. Here is a President who has been AWOL for close to 7 days in Europe and he chooses to engage in trivial unproductive debates with a former head of state; We tired of George Chellah’s face and his statements. Please call for a Press Conference at State House and respond to a questions in a proper manner that befits a Head of State.

  27. This is what you call a red herring, the public should be smart enough to ignore what spin doctors in State house are concocting and confront these guys on bread and butter issues that matter to them. Remember just yesterday how the previous MMD regime used to play the “Gay Card”.
Only foolhardy bloggers who lack of intelligent consideration and forethought will be foo.lish enough to sample this unpalatable cuisine.

Wake up people, we have come a long way!

  28. Watch your tone and the wAy u criticise  fellow Zambians – u indeed have got short memories ; the current regime may not be perfect but it’s certainly better than the previous regime ;let’s give them a bit of time

  29. The fabric of the nation is already tearing from the weight of Sata’s tribal excrement and yet he has the audacity to accuse anyone of tribalism! I just hope cancer takes him out before the nation collapses under the weight of this lunatic’s tribal bigotry.

    • You are in a limbo hence your stating “Northern” coz you know that not everyone who hails from Northern Province is bemba. You are faced with an intractable regional/tribal quagmire

    • My god! He has conveniently left out all the non bemba appointments like Chibamba Kanyama and calls Gondwe a Northerner

  32. Musa
“Hatred and bitterness” for what and for whom and why?

“Hatred and Bitter” are words commonly used in Zambia injudiciously to discourage people engage in productive debate.

    • Jay Jay. Agreed, people should learn to engage than playing the Hatred & Bitter card. The productive debate and information sharing continue.

  33. Mr sata be reminded that cheap chachacha politics of the dark age will not sway most of us living in the 21st century. you and the Post are on a malicious path trying to fool the nation by painting RB black as though you had the tiniest moral fabric. you are indeed the worst leader carrying an empty head on your shoulders. everytime you open your mouth and accuse leaders of the opposition, you make the majority of us sick becvause you and your park of fellow CNPs speak nonsense.

  34. ladies and gentlemen, i agree with most of the bloggers who have outsmarted chella and his ukwa master. these chaps thought they can divert our attention and serious questions about where these two went at taxpayers money. i find difficult to understand how the whole of the presidency can waste time and space on a matter carried by a questionable tabloid. i hope rb doesnt respond so that zambians can tell who is wise and who is foolish. zambia has more serious issues and out political leadership is advised to pay more attention to infrastructure development, job creation etc.

  35. It is either power has gotten into Sata’s head so much that he is completely deluded or that the statement is purely and completely the machination of his handlers who are tired of his comical and ignorant acts and have decided to intervene albeit with an impotent result. Sata is glaringly the face of tribalism. Who doesn’t know?

  36. “Now mi love fi see the schoolas dem a graduate

  38. HH wil be too old in 2021. HH will be classified as POLITICIAN NKOTE JUST AS NEVERS AND CHIPIMO WILL ALSO BE.

Zambians have learnt a tough lesson to elect an old person like SATA in that office. ZAMBIANS will go for a young one around 50 at the time and around 40 now(not even in the limelight).
POLITICIAN NKOTE WILL HAVE NO MARKET THEN. absh old school!

  39. Too much of petty politicking in zed, yes, tribal talk is petty,it’s when you give it prominence that such talk will continue for decades to come.

  40. Useless Sata, who is more tribal b/twn u and RB? Look at your cabinet, full of monkeys. Your brain is rotten CNP. RB is far much better than you. I regret voting for you uuukwa.

  41. The indisputable fact is that there has NEVER been a bemba President in Zambia for Rupiah to insinuate that he does not want a bemba to rule Zambia again.
Even if there was who is Rupiah to tell Zambians who should preside over their affairs?
Maybe its time bembas started pushing to have one of their own as republican president so as to set the record straight

  42. Now it should be clear to all who is puling the strings in Nevers’ MMD! Tough for the MMD UPND marriage of incovenience

  43. “Zambians have learnt a lesson!! Zambians have learnt a lesson!!!” What kind of class are these Zambian in which the never stop learning?? From Chiluba, RB and you are accusing our innocent President. You voted Sata in power until 2016, let him rule.

  44. Sata stil think RB is the President of Zambia – total madness will help him to understand this, that himself is the worst tribalist

  45. Sata’s visit to Brazil speaks volumes of nepotism and tribal machinations. So The Post is helping Ba Sata to divert public attention from the horrors of PF’s public misuse of tax payers money, fraudlently obtained K14Billion and also attempting to cast a smoke-screen on Sata’s reported illness in India or ??UK!!. If the Post claims it digs deeper why report data from unkown sources? Kodi Mulungu aliko? Please God Hear Our Prayers.

  46. Ukwa call a press conference so that we hear you articulate issues using your own mouth. We are tired of reading these editorials written by mumembe

  47. Very poor quality analysis in most discourses. Can we set the premise properly? Are all married women with northern regional surnames Bemba? Are all northern regional originating names Bemba? Are these the total appointment tally for the machinery that is running Zambia today (I know outfits that are complete Lozi, or Nsenga/Tumbuka, etc.)… Why are we transfixed on the political scene in any case? KK ensured through his wife (and his origins) that he choked the civil service with Easterners (in this case – literally whoever came from the East: Senga, Nsenga, Tumbuka, Kunda, etc.)… that is how RB got the liberty to drive a tribally inclined quasi-secession clarion call; some of our parents were victims in the East!!!

  48. Just go and eat your monkey T-bone steaks with your tribesmen you cheap con man! You are already history, we are just waiting for 2016 or for some unknown illness to catch up with you!

  49. What kind of President is this Sata who is failing to stand before journalist and answer questions.
When are we having the first Press conference of Mr Sata?

  50. Preamble of the UPND constitution states that the party can and will only be led by a tonga. No wonder its led by Hakaivotela Himwine.

  51. Most chants are bitter UPND dialects, chibaba mwe. President MCS until 2016 eish tuzaona if Nevers Mumba will accept VP to Hakaivotela Heka with majority of MPs. It will be same scenario like UPND/PF pact.

Kabimba stood hard and rejected PF to rally behind minority, a just cause, now we will see if this pact is not founded on sand. And what this UPND forget is that PF consists of political heavy weights. Do not underrate them YOU ARE WARNED!

  52. RB is very right. Just look at PF’s cabinet full of bembas …what will other tribes do ??? clapp for you and keep quite??? i can agree more with RB..wisdom comes from the EAST

  53. ITS ONLY NON BEMBAS SUCH AS HH , RB who are tribal… SATA a BEMBA can never be tribal even if he appoint 200000000 bembas in cabinet, diplomatic mission, theives such as emmanuel mwamba and chungu …he can not be called a tribalist…Mark my words no non bemba will ever vote for bembas AGAIN,…….

    • And you are the spokesperson of all non Bembas? Chill, you will choke yourself with hatred. Not everybody shares your hatred of Bembas. The fact is you have absolutely no control over who will be the next president. You have only one vote so don’t frustrate yourself over something that is out of your hands.

  54. Yes RB was a tribalist but between the two, Sata is worse and has even taken it to another level.
Mr Sata please, the questions that most Zambians are asking are about the K14 billion, the business of each of those who were on the Rio delegation, the so-called private business trips to India and when is he going to hold a press conference like all heads of state do, not that rowdy gathering with Zambians in London.

  55. Sata should not dare to call anyone a tribalist. Can Chela refuse that at State House the official language is Bemba? Can Chela deny that Bemba appointments dominate in every sector? Sata should look for better spin doctors and not those who merely emphasise your greatest weakness. We all know without a doubt that Sata is the KING TRIBALIST!

  56. For once RB is right. It’s too much of the same Bemba speaking chaps. What’s wrong with having a Tonga president anyway? Tongas are also Zambians and can rule this country. I don’t care if they are tribalists after all we have seen what Bemba tribalists can do. Am sure Tongas cannot much Bembas in tribalism since Bembas are the worst tribalists Zambian has seen in recent years or months since kaChiluba came into power. Tribalism started with kaChiluba and Sata is also Chiluba,s disciple so no wonder we are in for it. Let’s try a Tonga president. I rest my case!

  57. What you planted is what you harvest. The big problem emerged during election campaign northen part PF stronghold, southern part UNPD stronghold and Western part Lozis stronghold. Its here where tribalism comes in and corruption. So non from these strongholds to be the president next election 2016. Check on from these tribes. Kaondes. Ilas, Chokwes, Nkoyas, Lambas and Lenjes, the Lenjes you had already an excellent president, that is the sign that the tribe has quality and quantity. try again!

  58. Some of these tribalists are so dull they think Sata is Bemba, that’s why they start to shift to “northern province” instead of the usual tribal c r a p

  59. @Chapi #63. It is guys like you that must be thrown in Jail and keys thrown away. Stupid. WHERE IS IT WRITTEN THAT “Only Tongas can be President in UPND”. You are foolish and rotten – Mukanwa ukununka.

    • You must be either new or a blind follower of UPND for you to be so ignorant about the obvious proclamation. After Mazoka`s death,Siacheyu Mandyenkuku and his cohorts declared that UPND can and will only led by tonga. That`s the reason Sakwiba Sikota was hounded out the the party.Otherwise,he was next in line to succed Mazoka.Zambians are none forgiving when it comes to tribal parties. Why do you think Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe and Harry Mwanga Nkumbula failed to gain national appeal?

  60. @Kalok #59. If you care to remember. Kilometer Sampa said in Parliament that “We must marry Bemba women to be appointed to govt” Do you think the reason why those women with Bemba surnames were appointed because of their Bemba alliance – Their children are Bembas so is the family. SAME THING. Tribalism.

    • You must be a disgruntled embicile for you to be so clouded and engraved in tribalism.Continue supporting your tribal party UPND.Mazoka must be turning in his grave how morons like you are sending his once vibrant party into oblivion.

  61. @72 Dont you remember the proclaimation on hill top the only a Tonga must suceed Mazoka?

Sakwiba Sikota was also hounded out of UPND, who should have been an automatic replacement for Mazoka. Others could not withstand the tribalism in the party and eventually left, and what used to be inter regional/tribal became tonganised. That is why you have a Tonga spokesperson.

Those that support this party must not have ambitions to become president because it is reserved for Tongas.

  62. Many expected president Sata to change from his Pre Presidential behaviour and characterisitics to those that befit a president, unfortunately, many have been disappointed that it has not been the case. To make matters worse, not even the president himself has made an effort to  transform himself into a credible presidential personality worthy of both national and international standing. Presidents who luck this qualities attract no respect and such negativity as displayed by the bloggers. Therefore, it is very difficulty for any proud Zambian to associate themselves with such kind of President. we once walked with our heads high but we no longer do because of our president’s lack of  sensitivity and pronouncements.:)>-

  63. @74 YAZANDA. It is basically hatred against the Head of State. Weather he has behaved appropriately or not that is no leeway for disrespect, That is why I believe it is those 920 election painful wounds that is triggering outbursts of insults against our President..

Let’s give the elected govt a bit of time.

    • I agree with you on the question of giving the gov more time. We have been independent for too long, we need to graduate from dealing with petty things to addressing peoples’ real concerns in a country where it takes some people hours to obtain a passport and 3 months for others and even more. Are some people more Zambian than others? Since when?

  64. too much exitment in pf. they think thy r in heaven…wining elections is not all!! my foot.. 90 days gone, relatives all over when RB reinmds them of their stinking tribalism they gang up with their stinking tiolet POST newspaper to fight inocent people,….

  65. People who are very thin skinned like Ba Sata are always too eager to dish out verbal diarrhea but they can’t take it.Sata the saint is all too often pointing accusing fingers at others but he himself is always without blame.Ba Sata you’re the epitome of tribalism and you wanted the presidency just for prestige and for your ego.You have no plans or strategies at all.

  66. Mr number 26 , you are wrong, Felix Nkulukusa is not from Northern Provinc, he is lenje from Central province., you got it wrong.

  67. We need to strengthen the private sector. That where this whole business is heading. Everyone wants to get into political office purely for patronage. That is why the next government will elicit lists of another region and this vicious cycle will continue if we do not change tact. It reminds me of so many things that keep repeating themselves over the 3 or so decades such as UNZA strikes and student violence…

  68. This is such an embarrassment … we have two 73 yr old babies. If one touches what the other perceives to be his toys the other one starts crying. Mommy, Rupiah purportedly said blah blah blah, tribalism. If the other one touches what the other one perceives to be his diapers, the other one starts crying … Daddy, Mike is insulting blah blah blah, George Bush.

Childish stuff from two cry babies, listen … if you two have dirty linen to clean, don’t wash it in our public. We are not interested in you playing rowdiness kids when you are supposed to be taking care of the business of the smart people of the Zambian Enterprise. Shut up and get to work, stop this tribalism nonsense. It is beneath the prowess of the office you once held and/or currently holds. One Zambia, One Nation.

It is beneath the prowess of the office you once held and/or currently hold. One Zambia, One Nation.

    • No blind loyalty from this cat, you are both beginning to be more of a liability than an asset and we the smart people of the Zambian Enterprise are going to get rid of you, both of you. We can not afford to lose time with your bickering.

After all, you are both too old now and you probably care less what kind of Zambia we envision 73 years after you are both gone. Leave our Zambia in peace, tribalism and all that crap used to be a taboo when I was growing up and I am 30 years your junior.

You need to be ashamed of yourselves. Grow up and lead … one is a senior citizen and the other one as someone entrusted with responsibility of taking care of the poor. People are looking for hope and you are not offering any at all. One Zambia One Nation.

  70. I just can’t get my head around the thinking of those chaps that still think MC and his Party in Falling are doing a great job. Anywhere we wish them well

  71. All this nepotistic crap stifles innovation even though innovation for it own sake can be a great waste of time, if not properly handled. In Zambia we believe in thinking together, living together, leading together and building our nation together.

Individuals with sufficient depths of knowledge in more than one technical discipline working in teams, exploit the unorthodox to create very workable designs of whatever it is the collective wishes to accomplish. Nepotism makes the best candidate to fail because of whatever favors.

Leadership is about making things work whatever the prevailing circumstance not in spite of but despite the kind of diversities involved using the best brains available. Together we are stronger than we are as individuals and/or tribal groupings.

  72. #74 MY ZAMBIA, i understand your point that it is a question of sour grapes for some and also that there are some who are naturally disrespectful as if they are paid for it. But I still hold it that the president needs to polish up his image both at home and abroad. When he is speaking to people in the diaspora, for example, he treats them like they are less Zambians than himself. One wonders whether the President knows what forced Zambians to leave Zambia for other countries. Many people left at the time when it became a matter of life away from home or look death in the face. In stead of enticing his people, he spits in their face. He has no diplomacy and that gives Zambia a bad name, politics aside. As for corruption we are still climbing the ladder, should we rejoice? Who are apes?

  73. Ba Zed Patriot: No blind loyalty from this cat, they are both beginning to be more of a liability than an asset and we the smart people of the Zambian Enterprise are going to get rid of them, both of you. We can not afford to lose time with their childish bickering.

  75. Sata loves the tribalism tug he called Mazoka , levy,HH and now rupiah tribalist when it comes to bembas they are nationalist or patriotic pls just get down to work and fulfill yo campaign promise everyone will love u for that than this nonse

  76. Chawamila galu! That “forest” is clear manifestation of how tribal Ukwa is. The forest does not reflect national representation in government. This president is not a nation builder. Under his rule shall Zambia shall experience fragmentation into retrogressive tribal groupings.

  77. That is a real excellent source that you will be offering and you also provide it with apart totally free. I love seeing websites which comprehend the worth of offering a top quality source totally free. It does not take previous precisely what goes around comes around regimen. Do you obtained plenty of back links and i also notice plenty of trackbacks?

  78. Can someone tell us which Bemba has ever been a president of Zambia, KK is not Bemba. Chiluba was not Bemba, Sata is not Bemba. So what are we talking about?

  79. Sata you are the TRIBALIST, so shut up! Nigger you are just appointing your relatives and you want to accuse one who had a balanced government? Malabishi

  80. bitter critics cant u see that u all criticisin out of bitterness? atleast be seen to debate constructively, insele fulu for wat? if u not bitter why insele? check yoselves before u tok. batata is in office and its his time to clean zambia just giv him tym

  81. RB should be put in his place, its either he stays in active politics and forfite his pension or shut up and accept he lost the elections fair and sq,,
Have you ever heard George Bush critical of Obama? No or did you ever hear Bill Clinton bad mouth Bush? No !
Blair or Brown do not bad mouth David Cameron, it’s called democracy and being civilised
So what is this fool RB trying to prove aside his stupidness

  82. If there are any sane and credible senior politicians existing in the PF party, they must pluck up courage to chastise young Chelar -and Mmembe behind him. Chalah and Mmembe are extending their luck too far. Senior PF leaders should stop these Post mercenaries from fabricating false stories in the name of Sata when the President needs to recover in the confort of his bed at State House.. The false story on RB has boomaranged to expose bigger lies.

  83. Bemba’s should be very careful and watch their words very closely. We now reaching a time when the rest of the country not only Lozi’s are beggining of take note of Rampant Bemba Tribalism. If the whole country unites against them an Isolates Northerners, Bemba’s can be in for a rude shock. Stop these nonsesical statements like this person from this or that tribe will never rule Zambia. Stop protecting your Tribalistic President the Chimbwi No Plan in chief. Stop siding with the Post and Fred Mumembe. You Son’s of Kolwestans!!!

  84. How sad! It is like stripping Mandela’s “Rainbow Nation” and just having one colour!
It defeats Kaunda’s popular international “One Zambia, One Nation.”
“We shall overcome someday” was common in the cotton-fields on the white mans’ farms!

Sadly we are still singing the words, “We shall overcome someday!”
Usually words of a black man being oppressed by a white man.

When the words come from a black man, because of a black man, although black man has been “liberated” says or sings volumes! How so sad!

  85. Time of kingdoms is long past. The world is becoming a village through intermariages and as such tribes are quicly being destroyed. To campaign on tribal lines in this age will yield nothing for such a political party. Zambia is bigger than a useless tribe. Me will vote for whoever shows sense than this tribal nonsense. Only a person living in the acient age of kingdom can think tribal. Nonsense.
