South Korea coach Choi Kang-hee has rated Wednesdays opponents Zambia as a formidable side.

The two team clash at 14:00 Zambian time in a friendly game in Seoul.

Choi has picked a team wholly composing of home based players to face Zambia minus any of the Olympic Games members.

“Zambia is a strong team and our preparation period was short,” Choi said who will be looking at fringe players to include in the teams’ 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

“However, I believe our players will do well if they live up to their potential.”

Meanwhile, the Zambia team is complete with the arrival on Tuesday of the two Emmanuel’s; Mbola and Mayuka.

Mayuka of Swiss side Young Boys and Mbola of Portuguese club FC Porto were all part of Tuesdays final day training session.

  1. This game is a worst of resources, we could have played Malawi National team because they would have fielded their full squad, now these super chonchonlis of korea, just organise home based boys , not even that ka mannchester boy JS PARK and with us we have everybody on board except the TP (Typical prostitutes) guys. Anyway i will enjoy watching Ghana Vs China game in this beautifull city of Xian

    • EDIT:

This game is a WASTE of resources, we could have played Malawi National team because they would have fielded their full squad, now these super chonchonlis of korea, just organise home based boys , not even that MANCHESTER(should be QPR)  boy JS PARK and with us we have everybody on board except the TP MAZEMBE guys. Anyway i will enjoy watching Ghana Vs China game in this beautifull city of Xian(LOOK AT ME IM IN CHINA! – show off).

  2. That is what you said when we played India. India gave us a good game and helped us have a revelation of new players! Please shut up and not ukutuka other people.

  3. Iwe akulu mphuno wil see u wen we come in Kumasi were wil beat your juju stars 1-0 again,we know that you are one of those guys who came to teach pigeon lingo in our primary schools.

    • He is in China, how does Kumasi come in boss. AkuluMphuno is a fool so if u want to bcome like him go on! C how u’ve made a blunder now??

  4. Why do you have to play these games during the week and during work hours doesn’t Kalu and his charms know how it interrupts productivity in workplaces and the economy as whole. We know Kalu eats from the FAZ till but there are people running prudent successful businesses whom will experience high levels of absenteeism from their staff when the boys are playing given that its being shown live.

    • Think b4 u open yo mouth, this game is on a FIFA sanctioned day and its being played in Korea at 20:00hrs. Wats yo problem, u want Koreans to play with us in the morning so that we Zambians here can watch the game at night??? I guess ur still a school boy coz yo IQ is questionable!!!!!!!!

    • @JJ, I woinder which schools some of you guys went to. I also wonder whether you are a soccer fan or you are just exposing your stu.pidiy on this blog. Please dont comment if you have no information about football issues.

    • Yaba…I do apologise greatly I didn’ t know it was a FIFA sanctioned date. ..please please forgive me intelligent bloggers!

  5. @ JAY JAY Baba its time difference here please research simple Grade 7 Social Studies or is it Grade 8 Geography. Do you remember the 1988 Olympic games in Seoul what time was Zambia playing their games?

  6. @#1 JS Park retired from international football and #4 the game will also be shown at 22;30 on znbc. it will be 20;00 hrs in korea when they are playing so if you want the game to be played at 19;00 hrs zambian time then it will be around 02;00 korean time. so if anyone is a security guard or working knight shift you can watch the one at 13;00 hrs and vice versa. if anyone will miss work then they are just lazy especialy after the minimum wage. @#1 are you aware that that stupid andre ayew boy is injured again and our jacob is fit. when we come to kumasi we are weeping your buts drinking your beer then taking your women.

  7. Moroka Swallows coach Zeca Marques has appointed the team’s former striker Dennis Lota as his right hand man.

Names such as Kenny Niemach were linked to the post, but Lota got the nod in the end and Marques is delighted with the new addition to his technical team.

“Besides being a good coach, he’s got a good character. I’m more than delighted to have appointed Dennis as my assistant,” Marques confirms.

‘Chisa Mpama’ also starred for Orlando Pirates in South Africa in his heyday.

  8. Akulu Mpuno must be Malawian. He always brings the name of our tiny neighbour in his comments. We are really not interested in their affairs really. Meanwhile, this is the best friendly Zambia have had since the AFCON. Lets go beat these nchoncholis guys!

  9. iwe jay jay dont be stupid talking rubish about 14:00 in Korea it will be 20:00hrs ukushishita
and Korea they have a strong league even if they field local player it will be tough.

  10. Ba LT ok is me who doesn’t understand the English or is your author, how can u say with the arrival of the two emanuel; mbola and Mayuka . This looks to be three people emanuel Mayuka must be one and the same person. Do u read the article before posting it

    • Ba octopus nothing to worry about here, LT has written “…with the arrival on Tuesday of the two Emmanuel’s; Mbola and Mayuka….” there is an apostrophe here which they have illustrated further. IN THE two Emmanuels surely u cant c any sense???

  11. “….The two team clash at 14:00 Zambian time in a friendly game in Seoul……” Imwe Ba LT is 14:00hrs or 13:00hrs?????????????????? WHy ma misleading tyms apaaaa???????

  12. This is one of the best decisions taken by FAZ to play friendly with S.Korea. S.Korea is a very strong team. I believe this game will strengthen us so that we can go and demolish Ghana in kumasi next year. viva Chipolopolo, go go!

  13. Akulu Mpuno & Jay Jay typical UPND thinking; always trying to find a negative in everything progressive. How Old are you *****s weren’t you aroung when Kalu was wrecking havoc in Seoul, we used to watch those games around 10:00am in the morning. *****S!!
COME ON ZAMBIA CHIPOLOPOLO FOR LIFE

  14. Zambians, Condemning Everything, what is wrong with players having International exposure??? How do you expect them to do well in international matches if they only play Malawi or Zimbabwe?? Zambians change you evil thinking. We want our Boys strong as they will go to the World Cup.
    Well Done Organizers.

  15. @4 Jay Jay, a classic example of starting school from Form 5 coming down to Form 1 and ending there just before primary school where you find Social Studies. I personally forgive you for exposing your ignorance. Viva Chipolopoloooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. This team is going down again. Chikolopelo will move from 7th position in Africa (44 World) to 10th in Africa today. This team is just Ma Rubbish. Champion by mistake. \:d/

  17. @ liutnga zambia were not champions by mistake, that was the third AFCON that the team had been together except for a few players. the team had camped together for four months, we had three players from TP and a good number from SA so that made it easy for coordination. as for senegal players like Demba Ba only joined the team a week before the AFCON. we beet all the strong teams to win the AFCON so where is the luck here. the cooperate world is sponsoring the squad and the loal league so we expect even better results. i wonder when last you watched a league match then you will find that you only think like that because you lack in football info. you ask and we shall tell you. chipolopo is on the right track,we are returning AFCON and bringing the world cup to africa.

  18. @21 – MAN. U, T.P.MAZEMBE, NKANA AND ZAMBIA – Thank you for having football info. And Zambia will win the AFCON and World Cup. Lol. Please give me the result after the game on this same forum.

  19. South Korea 2:1 Zambia Full time. Zambia big loser. Chikolopelo. If Mr. Choi Kang-hee fielded his best players, it would be 8:0

  20. Bo Litunga just cool off! This was a friendly and a preparatory match: name me one team in THIS world which is unbeaten…sorry maybe you should get SKorean citizenship; we beat them in SA before AFCON…that’s good enough for us who remain Chipolpolo FOREVER bo Ndate !!

  21. Yaba…I do apologise I didn’ t know it was a FIFA sanctioned date. ..please please forgive me!!

I hope Zambia get a win since this is the first decent highly ranked team they have played since AFCON…there is nothing like friendlies games on FIFA sanction dates…you have to take them seriously the worst you can get is a draw.

  22. A certain quarter of our society has been negative opposing since last september, hence the bad attitude shown here of trying to politicise every article.

  23. Typical of zambians.Think before you make any comment. Are you aware that Ivory coast is playing russia today.FIFA Calender stupids.

  24. bo litunga we need such friendlies so that we have a lot of questions to ask.atleast these are friendlies that expose our lapses hence we know were to improve. bo litunga am sure you are the same people who never gave zambia a chance before the afcon. bo litunga zambia is retaining the afcon, zambia will play spain in the finals of the world cup in brazil and since teans do not win the world cup back to back then iam sure you know who the world champions will be in 2014. i have already saved money for my return ticket and now iam saving for my lodging, drinking and brazilian women.

  25. #25.man you really hurt zambia. your life must be scarred by the many good memories the beautiful game of chipolopolo has brought to the zambians .whats your problem then? your venom is beyond but i hope one day the chipolopolo boys will lose 8-0 as you wished at least i will know that you will be happy for once in your life.how miserable you sound.but listen its just football man.just for fun and for every to enjoy. yes zambia lost.who cares.i don’t bcoz its a practice match to help in planning for important games and also keep players active as a group. As for fifa rankings.its rubbish, zambia is on a free fall having dropped three(3) games after the africa cup. even if we won the world cup.we would never be number 1 bcoz thats how things workout.at fifa. free fall yes they make sure

  26. the outsider

You like Kalu haven’t got a clue how the FIFA rankings works or how they are calculated hence are ever quick to write them off out of sheer utter ignorance; analyse not criticise blindly….if its rubbish as you ascertain then why did we FAIL to beat S.Korea a highly ranked team than us. FYI Ghana drew with China as they take their rankings seriously so watch their ranking in the next few weeks.
As for winning the world cup if we did all we would get is more points added if that cataputes us to the top 15 so be it…
Its good that we lost it goes to show that FAZ and Kalu have been wasting time and money playing pub teams like Malawi, Zimbabwe and some of his U17 squads in RSA.

    Wake up.

  27. A bestfriend plus i want to create any operating a blog web page, though we all dont know which one to work with. Many of us fundamentally is going to you ought to be publishing occasional junk regarding not you want the internet site to get exciting together with beautiful, just not a bare style and design..

  28.   jay  jay and  litunga sorry you are too negative about Zambia, I am sure you are in this beautiful country by mistake; I am a German But I fell in love with beautiful Zambia when I visited it in 1985 at the age of 10 with my dad, and by chance watched zambia demolish cameroon, the then African champions 4-1 at the independence; I still remember 19 year old Kalu creating 4 scoring chances in 8 minutes with michael chabala finishing off 3 of them with his head and Aaro Ndhlovu scoring the 4th. of course I have followed chipolopolo after that and I had to come back to zambia 16 yrs later to look for a zambian wife. come on guys the Africa cup is a beautiful thing to hold so appreciate it, be positive.
