Women in the ruling Patriotic Front have said that the Party Secretary General Winter Kabimba should not be questioned for issuing a seven day ultimatum to Foreign Affairs Minister Given Lubinda.
PF Secretary General Winter Kabimba on Wednesday gave a seven day ultimatum to Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda to exculpate himself on allegations of leaking confidential information to the media.
PF Lusaka province women chairperson Margret Mumba said that Mr. Kabimba knows well what he did stating that there is no smoke without fire.
Mrs. Mumba could however not comment further on the matter stating that it would be indiscipline because it is before the top leadership of the party.
Speaking to QFM News, Mrs. Mumba said that what Mr. Kabimba is saying about some members of the party being disloyal is true.
She has since appealed to party members to remain loyal to the party in an effort to make it stronger.

I doubt if Wynter can constructively debate something let alone chair a comittee like APAC. I am a firm believer in President Micheal Sata and consequently the PF and I strongly believe the man will deliver. As Zambians, we are more concerned with this artificial shortage of mealie meal and fuel. What Kabimba is doing is just making a lot of us loose confidence in the party we see as our saviour from poverty. Chase Lubinda and we shall follow him enmass as long as he doesn’t fall in UPND’s hands.

It is very clear to me that you can not have one person holding both Secretary General of the Party and Ministerial post. Other Cabinet Ministers will be intimidated to discuss freely on explosive issues that the Justice Minter may hold opposing views. The fear will be that the Minister of Justice could then wear a different hat of that of the Secretary General and accuse those that opposed him as being disloyal. HE MCS correct this anormaly immediately
