Formation of MMD parallel structure is laughable-Kaingu

Opposition Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) vice president for Political Affairs Michael Kaingu has said that the formation of a parallel party structure by expelled National Secretary Major Richard Kachingwe is a laughable matter.
Major Kachingwe yesterday announced the formulation of a parallel party structure aimed at removing party president Nevers Mumba from the party.
Mr. Kaingu has advised Major Kachingwe to just state that he has formed a separate political party instead of hiding in the name of MMD.
Speaking in an interview with QFM, Mr. Kaingu said that it is also a relief it Major Kachingwe has moved out of the party because the party will now operate smoothly without any interference.
He however stated that the party will not allow Major Kachingwe to use the name of the party.

Those questioning the involvement of Sata, should learn to read between the lines and not wait for a memo from George Chella when it comes to “handling PF political opponents”. Some questions to ask yourselves are;
1. Why was Major Kachingwe offered Police protection after being roughed up and thrown out by MMD?
2. Who sanctioned that protection?
3. Why was this meeting (formation of pararell MMD) not subject to Police Call outs and members charged with breach of the peace considering there was public disorder and involves the MMD?
These three questions will tell you the the long arm of CNP with a plan has a role to play in this….

If I were MMD, I would NOT listen to Kaingu. The creation of a second MMD party smacks of what happened in UNIP soon after 2001 elections and UNIP has never been the same ever since. Either MMD listens to the other group and take Mumba to task or risk being completely out of the political picture BEFORE 2016. All eyes are now on UPND and Chipimo.

Indeed, it is childish for the two recently discovered moles and national traitors, such as Major Kachingwe and Namugala, to present themselves as the sole custodians of the MMD. They are just displaying a variant of warped logic. Their behavior consolidates the peoples’ assession that the two betrayers do not believe in democratic procedures. I personally had wished Dr. Musokotwane as President, but a democratic procedure favoured Nevers Mumba. Their true constituencies are only vested in areas dominated by the PF. The two hyebas nust, therefore, just openly join their beloved PF which is rich with corruptible money. As for Namugala, her extramural social behavior for marriage interferences will attract the most hostile reaction from legally-married women of Zambia.

Focus guys. like it or not the country need the MMD to be intact. PF politicians, do not. I say the country because without solid opposition we will see corruption turn into day light robbery. Service provision will go to a precious few again those who can afford it (Remember the 90′s). Let the MMD go to a convention, like it or not they are the movement for democracy. Let them hold a National Indaba or seek constitutional review or whatever. Peddling words never solved anything assertive action is the best way forward.
