Share

Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Eneyema says they won’t underrate Zambia.

And striker Ikechukwu Uche added that they we confident of getting a good result against Zambia.

Nigeria and Zambia clash in both sides’ penultimate Group C match each seeking their first three points to keep their 2013 dreams alive.

“We are not here to underrate any opponents I mean the Zambians are the defending champions,” Eneyema said in Nelspruit.

“We are going to take it like another game. Hopefully we will get a good result. We will seat back and watch the tape and see what we can learn from this particular tape.”

And Uche said he believed each game in Group C was crucial and equal in that respect.

“It is important but all the games are important,” Uche said.
“The group is open for everyone. The team is fighting hard to get to the next round.”

  1. iChipolopolo should never at any moment think the Super Eagles are easily pushed. They should be at their supreme best to beat them. The Super eagles also have an axe to grind and will be extremely vicious and vindictive just to cause an upset and prove a point. Watch it!. Don’t start the way you started with Ethiopia. Playing Nigeria will be like playing in the final. Watch it!

  2. Sana,

Nigeria played Burkina Faso last night and score was 1:1 just like us meaning group C has been re-set to default, all teams have one point each. Togo just lost 2:1 in an heroic manner, Togo had equalised 1:1 and it was almost ending like that when Gervinho pounced on single chance to win it!!!

    • Thankx, i actually confused myself was thinking and typing at the same time, meant to ask the score btwn Ivory coast and Togo, right at that moment my brain switched to Nigeria in which case i typed what you read, but thankx anyway.

Poor comments from a poor striker; I saw him play as a substitute in the Nigeria-BF game. Of course, Zambian play against Ethiopia was poor, by any standards, but they should do better against the super birds. It is time Ciplopolo makes up for they ‘lost’ oppportunity/game.

  4. The last match gave me a headache. I hope this one wont give me ulcers. Ba Chipolopolo pull up your socks please and be sharper than you were against Ethiopia!

  5. On a serious note, let’s get serious: every realist and Zambian worth their salt knows that The Zambia National Soccer Team won’t retain the African Cup, on the other hand, they will return without the African Cup! (Now, look at that PF’S communist stupid fanatic face like ‘what in the hell is this blogger talking about?’))

  6. We always play better against the self acclaimed big guns. That in itself is our inspiration.I will be at Mbombela, even my boss knows that ,Friday ,ni moooottttttooo

  7. Which tape are you going to watch, and how that going to help you. I can give you 1million tapes for Real Madrid iwe chi keeper but you can’t beat them.So even if you watch those tapes the issue is you are dead and buried. Zambia 2 Nigeria 0

  8. We can only draw, and beat B/Faso- fact. tatulibakali guys and am beginning to think HR is not a very tactical coach. This time my support will be reserved, kuti wafwa mayo na BP nemwine nshilaililapoooo!!!!!!!

    • I totally agree with you. People are overrating the Zambian team. We have a hard working team that is tactically very weak.

  9. Yes we need Mukuka to partner with Lungu, the master is below form let him just be in the wings. Free kics should be taken by another person say Mbesuma who can shot on target and make a difference otherwise where it’s only the Kalaba taking them he doesn’t have an impact, i think we can never score a free kick with Kalaba so far.

  10. Renard should assemble the impact oriented line up. I think he shud rest players like Chris, Kalaba and Nkausu so that other players like Mbola, Chivuta & Njovu gets on. Mulenga is too heavy, so he is a liability. If the front line could have Mbesuma and say Mukuka in first half and then second half Mayuka comes in for either Mbesuma or Mukuka depending on who will still be strong, definitely we will see some results. I am seeing Zambia getting the day.
Just support the players guys. The problem in the team is Chris the way Kalu was doing on those years. Mweene shud get the arm band and Chris shud be on the bench forever pliz nakupa.

  11. We did not need this pressure, messed ourselves up and this will really make us play under pressure against Nigeria. The complaisant approach on the Ethiopia game was just unacceptable. We are the Defending champions and should portray that in our game. CHIPOLOPOLO, don’t fail us. GOOD LUCK FRIDAY…

  12. CHRIS KATONGO IS A LIABILITY TO THE TEAM. HE WAS SO SELFISH THROUGH OUT HIS TIME OF PLAY THAT MBESUMA DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH AMMUNITION. SHAME ON YOU CHRIS! HR PLIZ BENCH CHRIS OR ELSE GET FIRED WHEN WE CRUSH OUT INTHE PRELIMINARIES…

    • Winning against Nigeria we will and am confident we will reach the quarter finals, but it is at that stage where I see problems…………Kuchefyako fye ka trust pantu kuti wafwilamo niwe mukulumba ifyo taulemona………yiiii mayo wesu katukamone the best team on friday.

  13. Hihihihehehehe!!!!!!!! Number 15 EX ZIT wansekesha sana, ati kuti wafwa na BP……Awe kwena mune nandi efyo fye mbwene, ala mukutila iyo tuli bakali kuti wapona pachipuna. Iyee mayo wesu kulumba with reservation, pantu aba ba Zambia ala kuti balenga wauma nomubiyo inkapila nga talandile bwino.

I think we are just overating our team to ana extent whereby we expect them to perform to a point where they cannot reach. Mayo wesu the game against Nigeria I will be moderate bane….But supporting I will do, though tu energy kushamo incase twalusa…..

  14. I believe in our Chipolopolo boys. Come Friday Zambia will carry the day against Nigeria. Wishing our boys all the best.“Never give up.”

Chisamba is a real fighter. I love the skill from this boy.
