Mbesuma Looking Forward to Zanaco

Time Posted: March 13, 2013 10:09 pm

Collins Mbesuma says he is looking forward to his first CAF club cup game against a Zambian club.

Mbseuma arrives on Thursday with Orlando Pirates ahead of Saturdays CAF Champions League first round, first leg game against Zanaco at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.

“It feels good and yes it is my first time to play against a team from home,” Mbesuma said.

Meanwhile the visit will be only Pirates second trip to Zambia in their history.

Their last visit to Zambia was again in the same competition when they beat Mighty Mufulira Wanderers 2-1 on aggregate in the second round.

Anyoko, you would make a very good comedian. I think there is more sense in what you have said if you look at it critically. We will all need Mbesuma to be in his best form this weekend.

Ba Sata, don’t expect to be spoon fed all the time as you always do with your name sake. The match was palyed in 1996 and it was second round of the same competition. Next time you will ask Lusaka Times to tell you when you had your last meal!!!

LT please get your facts right, Mbesuma is not eligible to play as he only joined pirates this year and therefore does not qualify to play

Iwe so called Zambian, What is the problem for Voltron writing in Bemba. We should be proud to use and promote our vernacular local languages. Go to other countries like SA or Botswana and u would see how our friends honour their mother tongues by using them everywhere i.e in banks, TV programs etc. Its high time we Zambians emulated them. Keep it up Voltron.

Ukusebana kuli finshi? Some of the grounds they used in the Africa cup were also condemned. Be proud and content of what you have. After all some more stadia are still under construction right here pa Z.

This stadium is good and was used recently during the zone six game. Why do like negative about yourselves. This stadium was recently renovated and is international class.

I am sorry to say that this is the end of the road for Zanaco. I cannot see Zanaco going beyond the Orlando Pirates.
