United Party for National Development (UPND) leader Hakainde Hichilema has said that his party is ready for dialogue provided that the Patriotic Front respects human rights and the rule of law.

And Mr. Hichilema has asked the Human Rights Commission to be proactive and ensure that meaningful dialogue in the country takes place.

Speaking in an interview with Qfm news, Mr. Hichilema said that dialogue is the only way to resolve pending issues in the country’s governance system.

The UPND leader has however stated the much anticipated dialogue cannot take place if the ruling party which is at the center of human rights abuses is not willing to dialogue with concerned Zambians.

Mr. Hichilema said that the ongoing problems in the country will not be resolved through suppressing divergent views or insulting those with brilliant ideas.

He said that government must realize that fostering development is a responsibility of every Zambian regardless of political affiliation.

  1. Government’s interest is in destabilizing the opposition and not dialogue. Dialogue will only be acceptable without opposition!

    • HH remember you left PF-UPND pact because of Sata’s frivolousness. The man can never sit and dialogue with nobody, but he is only interested to be the one entertaining by telling fairytale.

    • Was this by forced to say this at gunpoint or merely politicking after realizing that violence will never improve his dwindling political fortunes?

Since he crookedly assumed the leadership of UPND, I expected him to be a force to reckon with today, alas, he has largely remained obscure, unknown and unidentified in the greater part of the country.

Much as govt would like a meaningful discourse, I don’t believe this boy really knows what he is talking about.

The best govt can do is let the under 5 stay under 5

    • The Party has no problem. The problem many times are self inflicts on UPND by its members. Sometimes reality is hard to be taken in: On many occasions membership pronouncements are utterly unnecessary and wrong. Suppose HH and followers stuck to the principal of no falsification of facts, name calling, agitations, urguing as if bitter, insults, wishing Sata death, belittling others, character defamations and such various bad stuff that UPND present to the electorates. You can even let your MPs work with govt of the day which you can use to gather information and strategize. Alas, your acts so far leaves much to be desired. You are too fast going no where! Still water on rivers or lake signal a deep location. Do not be noisy like an empty tin. Have time for reflection, seems you don’t!

    • HH has noticed something guys

      1. That common wealth did not find any abuses in zed
      2. That Rupiah is going down really fast than he thought
      3. That upnd is losing the grip on its strong hold
      4. That the uneducated Sata is always 7 steps ahead of him
      5. That if he keeps firing those mps he is armoring pf instead
      6. That if he continues provoking Sata he might keep appearing in courts instead of campaining

The list goes on,HH is a stubborn chap but he is learning it the hard way…even Rupiah in 2009 said HH will never be. President. Watch this space Boma ni Boma

    • @SISI I hope you are educated enough and not just a cadre. If you are educated you may not be recalled bcoz UPND is not like PF recalled all foreign dignitaries and replaced them with “expired cadres”. Stay calm baba!!

    • THE OPPOSITION PARTIES ARE LED BY IMMATURE, BITTER, JEALOUS AND POLITICAL MISFITS. THIS UNDER 5 BOY MUST JUST LEAVE LEADERSHIP TO COMPETENT MEN AND WOMEN. HH HAS FAILED LAMENTABLY.

    • Ha Ha This guy is talking like he just woke up from coma ,has PF ever refused dialogue.Am glad he is coming to his senses and taming his tongue,Tribalism will not take him any where, very soon you will be Nashala neka party.police cells was a wake up call i guess.

    • Talking to a Snake like Satan is a waste of time. HH should concentrate on waking the people of Eastern province up and establishing a stronghold there. He needs to map a coalition of the willing. Avoid Sata and Kabimba at all times. These *****s are dangerous just like thier cardres Sisi and Chitalu (Bemba’s ofcourse). Even if you dialogue with Sata, he will sweet talk and then drible just like Chiluba. They are failed lot and Zambia will continue going down. Right now Zambians deserve all the poverty they are getting through PF because they were dull enough to vote for this lot. God Bless HH and the UPND. God Damn Chiluba and Sata!!!

    • A wrangle is brewing between President Michael Sata’s relatives and Post Newspapers Chief Executive Officer Fred Mmembe and clique over President Sata’s health.

According to sources close to the Presidency, Sata’s relatives including First Lady Christine Kaseba have advised President Sata to emulate former Pope Bennedict now Pope Emiritus by stepping down.
The sources have told the Zambian Watchdog that the First Lady who is a medical doctor has advised her husband (President Sata) to resign owing to his fast declining health.
The sources say Mrs. Kaseba-Sata has been approaching elders telling them to convince the president to resign but had met serious opposition and resistance from Post Newspapers Editor In-Chief Fred Mmembe who has been advising President Sata to continue for now.

    • The sources say Mrs. Kaseba-Sata has been approaching elders telling them to convince the president to resign but had met serious opposition and resistance from Post Newspapers Editor In-Chief Fred Mmembe who has been advising President Sata to continue for now.
“The First Lady being a medical doctor has advised President Sata to resign in order to prolong his health and she has been meeting Sata’s family elders and influential people but Fred Mmembe and his clique are not for the idea,” the source said.
Sources say the Mmembe clique are insisting that the president continues as they strategize in removing and destroying all possible competition to their preferred successor, Wynter Kabimba before Mr. Sata can resign.

    • So far UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema and former president Rupiah Banda have been particularly targeted by Mmembe and clique for hate messages framed around tribalism for Hakainde and corruption for Mr. Banda.
“The issue of trying to isolate and label Mr. Hichilema as a tribalist is a serious project at the Post newspaper that they want to portray for as long as possible. Of course they are also trying to see if they can cook up any arrest and charges for Mr. Hichilema and completely remove him from competition,” sources said.
The source said President Sata’s health has been declining very fast noting that he may have developed another problem which of kidney failure.

    • “The President is not okay, apart from his heart and prostrate cancer problem, Doctors suspect he may now have developed a kidney problem as a result of the two previous problems” the source said.

Meanwhile, another source has told the Zambian Watchdog that President Sata has been calling relatives to State House and asking them what he should do for them.
“President Sata has been showing very strange behaviour, he has been calling relatives to State House and asking them what he can do for them, it is like he is saying bye-bye to them,” the source said.

    • HH, HAVE YOU JUST REALIZED THAT VIOLENCE WILL TAKE YOU NO WHERE? ARE YOU NOT AWARE THAT MAPATIZYA FORMULA IS UPND’S APPROACH AND NOT PF’S? MUFANA TO BE A POLITICIAN CALLS FOR A LOT OF PATIENCE. DO NOT USE WORDS MANIPULATIVELY, TO MEAN PF IS VIOLENT AND NOT UPND. SATA AND PF KNOWS A LOT ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS MORE THAN YOU DO AND YOUR RE BASED UPND.

    • problem with this scumbag, human rights to him means he should get what he wants and things should suit his narrow minded ego. Anything that doesnt go his demonic way, is human rights abuse. Check the way he called for the disollution of ECZ after losing livingstone seat.

  2. I do not think anyone is interested in speaking to this tribalist. Even the Tongas have started realizing this selfish under5 is upto no good but dividing the nation on tribal lines. We will see you in 2016 when PF has an MP in Choma the capital of southern province.

    • Even when someone speaks sense you just condemn without reasoning. typical of blind followers. What you are insinuating about HH is exactly what he is not & exactly what PF is.

    • Unfortunately your HH expels his Ministers who works with the PF. Do you think any sane person will believe him when he says he wants to dialogue with the PF? Atleast I am blind enough to see he is not telling the truth but has just started seeing how unpopular he is becoming.

    • U r the tribalist. Infact the worst. What he has said is basically sensible for all of us appreciate n all u can say is that? BE FAIR

    • What was the motive behind those appointments?? Its was to win or have the majority in parliament. UPND clearly explained to its MPs the PFs intentions of appointing opposition MPs as minister/deputy minister & the penalty for accepting if one is appointed (he will be considered a traitor). Well what PF wanted is done(lifting RBs immunity) i bet you no opposition Mp will be appointed from no on

    • What is this man talking abt, he has given a condition that he can only dialogue if Pf stop the so called human rights abuses but again he goes on to accuse PF that dialogue can not take place if they are not willing to talk. Anyway to me this an empty speech as usual coming from Mr HH. If HH know that PF is not respecting human rights and rule of law are these not the very reasons for dialogue? why giving conditions that PF should first stop this and then and then meet for dialogue? does it make sense? Bwana HH if u are interested in resolving your perceived problems, request for a meeting and dont give fake conditions. It simply shows that you have nothing to talk abt even if you meet them.

    • The earlier you realise that HH means well for all Zambians the better for all of us.
Read between the lines of what comes from mmembe and his minions. Stop fighting Mmembe and Nchito’s fights. The two are upto no good at all. In trying to come of the 18 billion scandal whic HH will ensure they pay back, they label him tribal and people like you without analytical brains sing along. It is not good for the future of this country. Let us all rally behind the innocent and hardworking HH if we are to see meaningful development of this country and for the betterment of our children and the children of our children. Zambia Forward bane!! Ubututu mu PF bwafulisha. Sata is no longer the man we knew. Abash Mmembe and Nchito and their puppet Kabimba

    • U have nothing against HH, so the only thing you can dream of is that he is a tribalist. HH is better than ur ailing Sata in a million ways. In fact Sata is the chief tribalist.

    • @Diololo I do not see stealing money from Zambia Privatization Argency and sponsoring insults on the Zambian Watch Dog can be seen as “meaning well for all Zambians”.

    • We Rally behind the innocent and hard working…which Innocent? you mean HH is innocent? This guy has more dictatorial traits that Sata. Give him power and u shall see his true colors. I for one can not vote for HH. I followed his political life very well starting from the time Mazoka died and how he chased some of those who worked closely with Anderson. I was a UPND by then. THis guy is a pure dictator, infact some of u supporting him now will cease to do should he be given power.

    • @KCI If we are pragmatic i don’t think we can be talking about the issue of stealing from privatisation. HH was not in Go’vt but a hired private person (as a company ofcourse). Sata was in gov’t then and surely you are telling me that he only came to know that HH store when he started pursuing political interests? Is this sincere? Three gov,ts/presidents have have so far set HH free in these cases including the gov,t of Micheal Chilufya Sata vs FTJ and now Sata has come back and we are being told HH stole. Why are we being taken for a ride? Do we have an agenda as a country at the moment? do we stand for anything? Do we hold our leaders accountable? Do we know what we want as a people? To answer all these questions lets start by being sincere and forward looking.

    • @The Coming you still have not answered me what your level of education is. May be you are Shy to say you are very educated rich Tonga and non Voter.

    • @KCI am also a Kaponya and educated ofcourse but Tumbuka. If i were Tonga and rich i would still be proud of that. i have alot of Tonga friends educated and uneducated. They are very peaceful people and i love them so much.

    • But HH is under 5 and he will alwasy be , and what brilliant ideas does he have ? we have never heard of them but we know Elias Chipimo has brilliant ideas because he has shared them with all of us

      6. That if he continues prooking Sata he might keep appearing in courts instead of campaining

The list goes on,HH is a stubborn chap but he is learning it the hard way…even Rupiah in 2009 said HH will never be. President. Watch this space

    • @Rocky88 HH will never be any where near Michael Chilufya Sata , even if he weere to live a million years , HH is just a cheap braggadocio . A nonentity only good for some of his fellow ajata ngombes

    • Umwina Zambia how have you defined cheap in this case?? Personally i see nothing special about sata apart from him being president otherwise what his done i can do

    • Does god know these sick Bembas? Surely he should have put a few dropd of the grey matter in their heads to see sense.
Your man is hiding from people and you still think all is well? This explains why in the Bemba tribe, they will never announce the death of Chitimukulu or is it Chitimwaiche until his soul is fed to the crocodiles. I suggest PF as a Bemba tribal party start dialogue before the whole Zambia rises up in arms and chases the tribe to DRC.

    • @ kci you are an *****.Has HH spoken about tribes. Why are u so illiterate.i guess you are mentally sick and so tribalistic. Why should you always talk about tribes????.dont you have something sensable to say???.I guess you ended in standard one, with no respect.buchushi bulenga.Dont just quack anyhow.you end up hanging yourself.

  3. H.H just forget rule of law and all those nice sounding phrases coz Sata is a tyrant.Tyrants always stir up trouble or other stuff so the people may feel compelled to require a leader.

  4. HH lead by Example you are in a weaker position stop pointing at these issues, show seriousness and lobby so that you get to the dialogue table and bring-up issues of concern to your camp and Zambians. Don’t go wasting time on RB’s cases which are in court. I for one am very concerned at the lack of credible opposition as we are observing in Zed, strategies correctly and stop wasting our tym your MMD alliances in crime. Restructure your party and go out to all places in Zambia and talk to the pipo including their Chiefs, this is the time otherwise stop wasting our tym,

    • You took the words right out of my mouth, in short HH’s focus of attention now should be party mobilization with total focus on increasing appeal!

    • Very right, but will they listen? What views are suppressed in when there is evidence of tabloids and online news outlets that are pro-UPND? The biggest mistake the opposition has made is to fail to accept the REALITY. Had they accepted the reality, a strategy could have been found to relaunch their bid to form the next government. In my own naive perspective, I have believed that every educated person needs to capture real data and rationally make decisions to better or resolve a problem. For me, this has not happened with the opposition at least in the last 1 and half years. Being indifferent to every situation is but a mediocre strategy for would be leaders of this nation.

    • How can HH go to mobilise when he is not given the right to assemble. People are being arrested for merely visiting a chief. Lets support HH before its too late. PF are upto no good. The Sata we elected is not the one leading but clique that has successfully managed to hold him to ransom. The Speaker of the national assembly publicly defied the courts and we are watching and stand on the fence condemning those trying to fight our battles. Lets change the way we look at each other and the way we think about our country in general. Most of us don’t even bother to think about tomorrow or to think about the welfare of our neighbour. One wonders what kind of society we are.

  5. For once hh has spoken sense in a long while, weall nid each atha to foster development in our country,

    • @ KCI is the short of Kaponya chimbwi idio.t (KCI)? coz your arguments and horror and lack sense. typical of a kaponya

    • You cannot enter another man’s house and appoint his children to positions in your house without any agreement and arrangement. This is where Sata messed it up.

  6. My advice to HH if he ever dreams of getting into State House. Him and his followers should avoid using words like Kaponyas, Bemba, Kolwe etc. These are the people that vote and are in the majority unfortunately. If intellentuals are not able to see this then I wonder what intelligence is.

    • HH and his colonies like using such words coz they have completely ruled out Bembas as part of the electorate who can help propel HH to state house while Sata has realized he can not win next elections without people from southern Province so PF has gone flat out campaigning is southern province and results can be seen from the just ended local gvt elections in which FP scooped 90% of the seats, plus Livingstone victory. So you can see who is good strategist, A degree holder or a Kaponya.

    • @KCI I somehow agree with you on the issue of kaponyas being in the majority voters. May i however say that you must also stand on a platform were you are able to change certain positions depending on the situation especially concerning politics. I will tell you that i voted for Sata but i don’t support what is currently happening in our country. i feel PF is taking us backward and they have no agenda and therefore i have no reason to continue supporting them. At the moment i see HH as the only hope for this country and am ready to try him. If he becomes a nuisance i will throw the first stone because my interest is having a president who will have the interest of all Zambians especially the youth.

We were promised jobs by PF but all we are seeing are street vending jobs.

  7. For the first time HH has spoken sense maybe this should be his political tademark from now, i hope so rather than his usual childish sentiments.

    • Dont be deceived, they’ve just realised that they cant rule with out our support, in other words all they want is to rule and not the Zambians. Visit zambian watch puppy by today there tone has changed towards the kaponyas.

  8. Personally I believe in Socrates way of reasoning. Tactical intelligence is all that is required to be applied to the PF team. Tactically push them to admit the wrongs like Kabimba did n then let the people know that they have admitted.Only one day will they appreciate the power of the pipo! Let them ask MMD, if they have forgotten already. So President HH dont get any emotional lest they misquote u.I know it pains but we have made that choice n we need to respect it. Lobby for the good among all stakeholders n GOD shall surely answer..What we need as zambians is development in an orderly manner n environment through intelligent but humble dialogues

  9. Baba, have you realized that boma ni boma? Are your businesses begining to crumble? Just retire as UPND president and let a sensible person take over. You are just killing a vibrant party and your own businesses because of the thickness in your head. Have you ever seen a swine crossing the road? No matter how much you hoot, it will continue moving in wherever direction it’s head is pointing. Such unreasonableness has caused many to be bashed. It is just like you. Your ego blinded you the moment you took over leadership of UPND and now that you are dealing with a no nonsense government, you are begining to feel the heat!!! Boma ni boma and it always has two sides, the good and the ugly. Looks like you have found yourself on the ugly side. ha ha ha!!!!

    • On his wealth you are mistaken, HH is very very rich forever with multiple and variable streams of income; ranching, merchantile, investments etc. If I were HH, I would leave politics to enjoy quiet and joyous life. He doesnt need a cent from government office or even a govt retirement home.

    • chigusu,
its people like you who forever will mislead this loser.
please have mercy on him by advising him correctly.
its like you see a blind man heading toward a ditch and instead of redirecting him/ her, you start cheering.
      foolish…

  10. Only those who have been bewitched by the post newspaper believe that HH is a tribalist.
I have started thinking HH will make the best president Zambia has ever have.

    • But HH will never be a President of Zambia , he will jsut be a perpetual UPND president until he remains wih 1 MP or even just himself because even the other MPs will start failling because people in SP will vote them out and bring in progressive none tribal MPs

    • To avoid contamination, I NEVER buy the Post Newspaper. I only flick through at work to check on possibe libel against our company. I switched to the Daily Nation for quality news.

  11. For as long as this clique running govt think they have the monopoly on wisdom dialogue is meaningless. Everyone with different views is either bitter or a political enemy. Even the Catholic church have said thing are not okay in the country. Just look at the mealie meal crisis, government have blamed everyone possible but never themselves, all we hear are threats and orders..no leadership qualities whatsoever.

    • ZWD has really messed up your mind, you have no clue what happening on the ground in Zambia ,Livingstone win for PF is just one of them.wake up and smell the truth.

    • Everything I’ve said is factual..(1) Catholic church came out with a statement about oppression of those with different views (2) Govt has blamed millers, opposition, retailers, Zesco etc for mealie meal crisis but never themselves (3) on a daily basis all we hear are commands and threats (just listen to the weekly swearing in ceremonies or your minister of tourism when she speaks). Clearly the word dialogue doesn’t exist in their vocabulary. The sooner you remove your heads from the sand the better. And yes I live in Zambia!

  12. I m having second thoughts about this whole thing. HH, UPND and Tongas have been accused of violence, Tribalism and so on, mainly by Mmembe , Sylvia Murambiza, Reserve SGT Mwaliteta and so on. The man is now talking about possibilities of dialogue, and now some Bemba Kaponyas are insinuating, no dialogue! I thought dialogue is gathering your spears and throwing them into the sea, as the great man Mandela once said. So PF, what do you prefer among the 2? Dialogue or the violence that you accuse Tongas and HH of? That’s rather strange and someone’s hiding something here. These people can’t be trusted. The most important here is that HH has put it on record. Period!

  13. The hungry heyna ( HH) must stop insulting his political opponents also.HH has no directions and most of the time he has nothing to talk about but insults, falsewoods, frustration and bittterness!!Uleke ukutuka abakulu mwaiche!!

    • Now is the time to reveal the award winner for the ‘most bitter Zambian’. And this year’s winner is …………………………….

  14. The Party has no problem. Have time to reflect, seems you do not!

    • You kill your own cadres and lamp the blame on UPND…Ni Donch kubeba indeed.
PF cadres will finish each other before you realise it.

They use like toilet paper. After being used flashed and forgotten…………Donchi kubeba until only one cadre remains. you will look around and no one else will be shouting donchi kubeba with you.

      Change the way you think!!

  15. The goodness of being alive is learning from experiences of other pipo including leaders, only can we learn if we recognize them and how they curved their path to success. The issue of being denied permit doesn’t hold water PF went through this but used other Avenues such as Community radios to inform the public on what you intend to do for them. Zambia is quiet advanced that nearly every area is somehow covered by Community radios, realize what you have first and use it effectively to leverage your position.
    Cheers!.

  16. Talking “SENSE” laced with caveats is NO SENSE!

Why can’t he just talk to the govt/ruling party without preconditions? Are we at war to for him to be setting conditions before surrender? You would think he is talking about the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians—this is really trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

  17. HH we are ready and willing to surport. DISTANCE yourself from MMD past misdeeds. Stop talking tribalism. Sa.ta is a hardcore tribalist but he never talks about tribalism. Obama never condemns racism. Spend time in eastern province and highliten PF failures.

  18. Why giving conditions? lt is u dat have 2 b given conditions. look at de falsehood ,insults ,slandor nd violence u hh nd yo minions perpetuate everwhere and on yo media like zwd and amaturish print 1s like de nation.Give examples of h/rights abuse.

  19. I think among ourselves as Zambian people the issue of tribe, level of education, occupation, religion etc should not influence our decision making. When we had shortage of essential commodities during the UNIP times we were all affected. Mugabe’s rule in Zimbabwe is affecting majority of Zimbabweans. These politicians use all means possible to get to power but it is up to us the people to see the truth. I postponed my trip to Livingstone because of the media that is available to me. ZNBC, Lusaka times, Post, Zambian watchdog. When I called a friend in Livingstone to inform that I have cancelled him asked me “why?”. I was told “it is very peaceful here”. Let us co-exist as Zambians and be very mindful of these politicians and the media.

  20. I am not sure HH is in any strong position to bargain for dialogue, at least not on his terms. The PF have already found a formular of getting his MPs when they need them and they now know he can not afford to expel them all, he also just lost seat in Livingstone sending message that he could lose other seats if by-elections were held.

Actually, even other MPs now know that they can actually leave and still hold their seats, while dialogue is good, he has to demonstrate a positive attitude and drop insolence and false big ego, he is not in a strong bargaining position

  21. The trueth is catching up with under5s camp guys. too bad they picked up a fight with a wrong camp, KING COBRAs and lets wait, sit back and relax, as we watch under5s learn the hard way. we warned them though, didnt we? levy failed, rb failed. who is hh?

  22. The trueth is catching up with under5s camp guys. too bad they picked up a fight with a wrong camp, KING COBRAs and lets wait, sit back and relax, as we watch under5s learn the hard way. we warned them though, didnt we? levy failed, rb. who is hh

  23. Just to be clear, it sounds like HH is talking about some kind of power sharing arrangement with PF when he says he is “ready for dialogue”! Dialogue about exactly what, Mr HH? Next elections are in 2016 last time I checked! What happened, the commonwealth is taking too long to come up with a report favorable to you? Why don’t you dialogue with them, Amsterdam or SADC your favourite go-to guys?

    • @Chimbwi with a Plan,

You are absolutely spot on, HHs call sounds suspiciously like one after a disputed election result and then a challenging candidate like in Kenya says he is ready to dialogue, meaning, he should be offered some Government positions and the like.

HH never ceases to amaze me, if there is to be any dialogue, I hope he knows it will havbe to be with all poilitical parties, His Excellency President Cosmo Mumba, with his beautiful security included, there is no bilateral dialogue with the UPND as if there is any power sharing arrangements being made, sorry!!!

  24. HH with yo supporters ,de approach u took was very wrong n is costing u a lot. lnfact pf has been leanient with u. for yo hate how do u side with rb whom not a long time ago u condemned strongly. lt is too late. U don’t even nid to give conditions.

  25. You cannot talk of respect of human rights when part of your campain strategy is to instill fear in voters by murder. GRZ or UPND has no right to take away a persons life like we witnessed in Livingstone

  26. Ba HH, which human rights violations? To be frank, I think the PF gvt has been taken for granted due to their tolerance. Do you mean to say that PF is worse than MMD? If your answer is yes, then you are shallow.

  27. I reckon days will soon come when it will be embarrasing for one to shout, ” pa bwato!” In chingola we even strungle to buy mealie meal. Everyone is feeling it, the have and have not, taxi drivers and all the kaponys. Kaponyas are not as backward as our rural bros and one day they will try hh just as they have tried ba sata. 99% of politicians are hypocrites and this puts you and I at risky in believing what they say

  28. HH now has met his verdict…DIALOGUE, But why so late Mr HH? We told you that the road you were trading was pumpy but you could not listen. Arrogance, insults, falsehood and pitting Zambians against the Bembas would not work. Now you want Dialogue when its too late. Learn to be sober and humble HH.

Peace and Prosperity to Mother Zambia.

  29. Solee bwana HH you lost that opportunity when the pact collapsed, I hear you and nevers wil be deputies to Bwezani.just concentrate on defending rupiah you once called corrupt.

  30. Is it not the Chief in Southern Province and the Commonwealth who have leaned heavily on HH for him to come out like this, or is it court cases bothering his mind?

HH needs to climb down and become sensible as a leader of a political party that is aspiring to govern Zambia one day.

  31. I CAN PROUDLY SAY THAT I VOTED FOR SATA. AND I STILL SUPPORT THE PF DESPITE SOME OF THEIR WEAKNESSES. NOW COMING TO HH. I THINK INSTEAD OF INSULTING HH, WE SHOULD CONGRATULATE HIM. AT LEAST HE HAS SEEN NOW THAT DIALOGUE IS THE WAY TO GO. HE HAS SEEN THAT GOING TO THE C/W TO WASH DIRTY LINEN WAS A FLOP. HE HAS SEEN THAT INSULTING SATA IS REPUGNANT TO ZAMBIANS. HE HAS SEEN THAT HIS LOSS IN MPONGWE AND L/STONE SPELL DOOM FOR HIS POLITICAL FUTURE. HE HAS SEEN THAT THE MORE YOU INSULT SATA THE MORE YOU MAKE HIM POPULAR.
SO LET HIM MOVE A STEP FURTHER TO SHOW THAT HE NEEDS DIALOGUE. OTHERWISE HE STILL HAS A LONG WAY TO LEARN THE POLITICAL ROPES. AND SATA IS UNSTOPABLE NOW. BY 2016 UPND WILL ONLY REMAIN A SHELL WITH FOUR MPS. SO PLEASE DIALOGUE YOU PEOPLE. BOMA NI BOMA.

  32. HH you’re contradicting yourself…a few weeks ago you told your youths not to take in the youth day celebrations.WE DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO BE HONEST.THINK BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH IT’S CALLED WISDOM,CHARECTERISTICS OF A GOOD LEADER.

    • That’s my question from this bemba haters. The president has a BA in political science that he obtaining way back in 1973 and yet they keep insulting him. And they think they can rule the country without the bembas who happen to be in the majority even in some provinces. Wake up and stop the hate.

  33. Ah ha! He is so worry after seeing the immunity of Banda been removed that his name will be named soon as one of thiefs for stealing billions kwacha.

  34. Dialogue with PF? LOL, Surely UPND should know better by now. It is not in PF’s nature to dialogue because among other reasons, PF is not consistent by design. An inconsistent body always avoids committing itself to any orderliness. You only need to read PF’s manifesto **and compare with what they are actually doing now that they are in power to prove that. Period.

  35. HH is spot on, let PF Sata respect Zambians who voted for him and for once make a difference instead of stabilising the nation out of political expediency. Zambia has never been subjected to this kind of rule before, therefore let him sound like a head of the nation while diverse views are respected.

  36. Three Tonga Chiefs have made you wake up by critisizing your TRIBAL attacks, they said TONGAS ALONE CANNOT MAKE YOU A PRESIDENT, you need other corners of Zambia too. Reform and sell yourself to the Zambians, you still stand a chance!

    • Tell him. It had to take some of his chiefs and his MP’s going against him by taking government jobs for him to realise, his is a sinking party. Welcome to the club. You can not rule Zambia by having support from only one province.

  37. 1. Re-instate all your expelled MPs and apologise to all those who have resigned from your party on their own because of your intolerance like the past L/Stone MP. 2. Withdraw your case from the C/wealth which you have realised has no basis. 3. Get clearance from the courts but not self clearnce. 4. Apologise to all Zambians for taking them to C/Wealth before you can talk of dialogue with PF and the nation. It is never too late for you, sir because these are the people who can build and put you into state house but not your own intelligence & intolerance to your members.

  38. LET HIM TOO APOLOGISE TO THE ONES HE HAS CALLED FOOLS,KAPONYAS,KOLWES,THIEVES AND SO ON.HH, WE HAD GENERAL TEMBO, MUMGOMBA,MAZOKA .THEY O FAILED 2 DISLODGE MMD BUT IT HAD TO TAKE SATA TO WIN THE HEARTS OF THE PIPO AND DISLODGE MMD. U NID TO GROW HH.

  39. Dialogue! Dialogue! Dialogue about what ?? This habit of deceiving people by claiming that you want to have a dialogue with the government about something which you cannot tell ordinary Zambians is not right. Politicians should dialogue about specific issues affecting ordinary Zambians not personal issues. What does he mean when he says pending issues? Is he referring to his court cases? In a democracy, the opposition should respect the policies of their opponents who are in power as long as they are within the law. You cannot force your style of governance when you are in opposition, you have to earn the trust of the electorate and convince them to give you the mandate to rule the nation. Asking your opponents for dialogue while accusing them of violations just shows immaturity.

  40. Whoever bestowed the under 5 tag on Mr. HH is a far sighted seer. HH has lived up to this tag since the PF came to power. First he declares he would make Zambia ungovernable all because he didn’t win the presidency! Then he sponsors ZWD with the purpose to heap insults on the leadership and majority voters, Bembas. Is this the strategy to win next elections? He scarcely if ever tours provinces that could swing things to his advantage. If this is the map he has charted to get to plot 1 I fear he will be disappointed again.

  41. LEAVE HH ALONE. HE HAS STARTED LEARNING NOW. AM SURE AT THIS RATE HE MAY BECOME ZAMBIA’S PRESIDENT IN 3051 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

  42. Dialogue between opposition and government is essential in a vibrant democracy. The problem is that certain opposition elements sometimes fail to follow regulations to make quick gains in their agenda for inheriting reigns of power. When opposition cuts corners, it should not expect government to turn a blind eye. Government shall govern, and that means arresting any wrongdoers, whether in opposition or not.

  43. HH is just a cry baby! people dont mind him lets just move on!! and who are you to wish your friend to die because he is sick? God forbids!!! and when GOD says No no one can say yes!

  44. whether this underfive attends or does not attend is no issue. By the way who cares if he is there or not. This is just a small leader who wants to pretend as if he is a somebody. kwena ba hichilema balaimona fimo ai!
