Vice President, Guy Scott, has castigated the Unite Party for National Development (UPND) and some sections of society for telling lies over the health of Republican President Michael Sata.
Dr Scott said it is regrettable for the opposition political party and some members of society to wish the head of state a bad health and described such ongoing rumours as malicious.
He said President Michael Sata is fit and is the only leader who has the good will of the Zambians and urged the Zambian people to continue supporting him so that he can take this country to a greater prosperity.
Dr Scott was speaking in Kapiri Mposhi district over the weekend where he was drumming up support for the PF candidate, Eddie Musonda, in the April 23 Parliamentary by-election.
And Dr Scott has urged the people of Kapiri Mposhi to vote for PF candidate, Eddie Musonda, in the April 23 Parliamentary by- election in Kapiri Mposhi Constituency.
Dr Scott said Mr Musonda is the best candidate for people of Kapiri Mposhi because he understands the many challenges that the people are facing, among them lack of good road network and proper health facilities.
The Kapiri Mposhi parliamentary seat fell vacant after the Supreme Court nullified the election of MMD Parliamentary candidates, Lawrence Zimba, and the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) set April 23 as the date for the by-elections.
Other participating political parties in the Kapiri Mposhi by-election are the UPND which has fielded Lawrence Zimba as its candidate while the United National Independence Party (UNIP) has Francis Mwape as its candidate.

We’ve always known Mr Sata as a very active person but nowadays his face has a faraway look and he always keeps to himself in State House. A President should be up and about visiting his people in the provinces! Whatever happened to the man of action?

This Government which is led by President Michael Sata is the best administration that Zambia has ever had. It is a team of Honest people committed to the prosperity, welfare and peace of all the Zambian people, and not just interested in the short term sectional prosperity of a minority, or of the personal enrichment by ever swelling Swiss bank accounts! Okay, mistakes are made, this is in the nature of every enterprise every where in the world, be it governmental, industrial or commercial; however that does not detract from the basic honesty, integrity and honour of the administration, nor of the general comprehensive intentions of its political direction and policies policies! God bless President Sata and his team, give them the strength to continue the good work!

Malikopo as the name suggests, president Sata is sick just own up to it. Everyone gets sick and its not a hidden myth. However, to claim that president Sata is not sick is self deception and truth shall prevail after all Sata is old and would be natural for him to be sick now and then but PF cadres including ceremonial VP Scotty should’nt burry their heads in the sand when their backs are clearly bare as we see Sata sneak in and out of the country for medical check ups.

Sata is both loved and loathed for his ultra naked nepotism and tribalism. Therefore the opinions about his health are shaped by whether or not one is a beneficiary of Sata’s discredited and incompetent government.
For a long time public workers have been subjected to ridicule, and lost respect even at home due to poor conditions of service. Many civil servanst cannot afford to buy even the simplest of household goods unless they get a loan from these exploitatative finnacial institutions but now new hopes have been revamped by the PF government which has so far shown comitment to improving conditions of service for civil servants and restoring our lost dignity. we only hope these new conditions will be implemented. bravo PF!
