Sate Sate must be patient – Gift Kampamba

Share

Ex-Chipolopolo midfielder Gift Kampamba says time will come for Nkana striker Reynold “Sate Sate” Kampamba to play for the national team.

Kampamba has been overlooked by Chipolopolo coach Herve Renard ahead of the July, COSAFA Cup Zambia 2013.

The Nkana assistant coach said Kampamba must be patient.

“Everything has got its own time. Reynold is still very young and he is talented.

“Let him be patient his time will come, he will play for the national team,” Kampamba said.

The youngster scored his sixth goal of the season on Saturday as Nkana thrashed Konkola Blades 4-2 in Kitwe.

The goal came 24 hours after Renard named a 20-member home based Zambia squad for the COSAFA Cup minus Kampamba.

  1. haaaa thats why Nkana is shinning, it has best coaching staff, Gift Kampamba & Zeddy Saileti. Tenant Chilumba has huge challenge to shine at Power Dynamos.

  2. iwe gift, for how long should he be patient?
football is a short career and you know it.
if the chap is ripe now to be in the national team, then let him be. afterall we are yearning for success after that dismal performance we witnessed recently.
renard or not, we need quality players to represent us and not those …….
    awe mwe naleka niponta.

  3. I agree, the boy need to be patient and continue working hard and this is what I said on the other threat

There is nothing new here, back in the days a lot of us hated Ken Mwape because he was useless at stopping penalty kicks. We wanted the coaches to put Ghost Mulenga in goal, then there are players like Mbesuma’s father Francis Kajiya who I thought was good and overlooked for national call duty, he was by far better than Pele Kaimana who was a regular..that is just football, Sate Sate should just continue working hard..that is my advise and remember City of Lusaka’s live wire Chanda Mulenga in the 80s, he never even played for National team

    • my buddy, you realy watched football.you know the likes of ghost mulenga. It was realy hard atred arrows then as they had johnstone katowando as number one but ghost was more prefered, just as at GBFC then it ws a tag between micheal “spinks”bwalya and peter banda.
      bola yakale eyali bola.

  4. KALAMPANESE ‘Sate Sate’ should be left to horn his skills more at Nkana. We don’t want chi gwinini to attach itself to his heart if Zambia shows ubukula in a cosafa game. Kalampa Kalampa Kalampa! Kuchilata.

  5. NEYMAR IS JUST 21 HOW LONG SHOULD SOME ONE WAIT. THIS WHY ZAMBIA CAN DO BETTER WE GOALS AND THE BOY IS SCORING.

    • Neymar wanted to leave Brazil about three years ago but Brazilians advised him to wait and stay in Brazil a little while longer. Now look at how improved and solid a player he has become. A good number of Zambian fans advised Mbesuma not to rush to Europe. “Stay in RSA for one more season, please”, they pleaded with him. It all fell on deaf ears. Boy, how right they are when they say, “experience is the best teacher.”

  6. It’s not about him being patient or not , but it is about choosing the best players who are in good form ! We need to have a look at the players who are shining ! We want to win games !

  7. sate sate you a good prayer.time will came for you.just wait for a litle bit longer’congrats ba nkana FC

  8. Time is now for Sate Sate, patience for what? With Zambia playing one of its games pachilata, it would be a great treat for Sate Sate and fans. I m sure he would rise to the occasion. Dont let the fella age when he has done all to play for the national team. We need to encourage our local players that outstanding perfomance automatically earns you a call up. Neymar and them have always had good perks and cannot be compared to our local football. Mbesuma was running out of age hence the rush to EPL

  9. Life is not always fair but God is Just. Pa Zed time matters. The shelf life of our player has been greatly reduced by beer.drinking so sate sate must be given chance to play now.He may not drink but we have a bar here called 40-40 hence my daydreaming.

  10. Its like you read my mind! You seeem to know so much about
this, like you wrote the book inn it orr something.
I thiknk that you can do with a few piocs to drive the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is wonderful
blog. An excellrnt read. I will definitely be back.
