  5. what UNWTO update is this?ääääää’ööööö

    points to note though
    (1) I see a chinese man teaching zambians how to pick up a chopped down tree
    (2) Great to see a monkey strolling peacefully and freely not threated by monkey eating people
(3)Pic # 23 hungry looking daka boy… no money in the pocket
    (4) LT pic #6 thats Nanoos one of the oldest indian shops in livingstone
(5)LT #18 thats not the deepest point of the victoria falls,,,if you want the deepest point next time get it from the knife edge or the devil pool not from the zimbabwe-zambia bridge

  6. Greatly concerned.

Noted the difference of architecture between buildings on the Zambian and those on the Zimbabwean sides.

  7. Pic 3 is terrible. Why can’t they sweep the road? Typical Zambia dirt. Pic5, terrible pot holes in a tourist city. Pic 10, you can tell that this is a Zambian side. Pic 21, good but not professional. Why didn’t they use the guys doing the Chiyawa rd?pics 23-24, why let foreigners run a lodge instead of asking them to bring in more money to build hotels?pics 25-26, when are they going to finish? We only have this month left. Pic 15, for once we have cleanness and order among street vendors. Thumbs up

  8. It’s VICTORIA FALLS BRIDGE! PLEASE. Knife Edge is the one just facing the falls and is completely on the Zambian side. LT you must try some local tourism too. Perhaps you will know that the 2 bridges are different.

  9. Was wondering on the insistence of Knife Bridge by LT. Sure LT does not know knife bridge? This is Victoria Falls Bridge in the pictures and not Knife bridge. Can we please correct this embarrassing report otherwise good pics!!!!!!!!!!

  10. LT don’t label photo’s if you don’t know the places you are referring to! No vehicles CAN EVER ACCESS THE KNIFE EDGE BRIDGE, what you are referring to is THE Zamb-Zim ROAD BRIDGE!!

  11. Workers making mortar for laying tiles on shop corridors along Mosi-Oa-Tunya road in Livingstone ahead of the UNWTO general conference. Surely in this day and age, u engage a company that makes mortar in such tins???? This is day light corruption, can someone see tht??? There are machines which does such work. This kind of companies, should only exists in compounds, villages, fams u name it. Someone needs to be answerable to such things

  12. Which one in L/Stone is the knife bridge? I beg to be corrected. My understanding was that the knife bridge is that slippery bridge close to the falls and no vehicles can pass there. Pics 13 & 14 are not showing the knife bridge.

  13. These pictures are taken from a distance like anyone with a smartphone would. As a news outlet, LT should engage with the people they choose to photograph then we wouldn’t end up with such impersonal obvious captions as …. a man makes his way…., a tourist makes his way……a couple make their way……a motorist makes his way …… A chinese archtect takes……Yaba!

  14. So everything in Zambia is run by the chinese, well except the jobs where you have to use muscle. I thought CBU has a school of Architecture, why do we need to import skills that we have locally? Can we also outsource the presidency to China while we are at it?

  15. LT THE CAPTIONS LEBELLED “KNIFE BRIDGE”ARE WRONG!! THE BUNGEE JUMPING IS NOT DONE ON THE KNIFE BRIDGE AND CURIOS ARE NOT SOLDAT THE KNIFE BRIDGE!! THIS IS SERIOUS MISREPRESENTATION OF THE TOURIST SITES AND SHOWS LACK OF RESEARCH ON THE PART OF WHOEVER PUBLISHED THESE PHOTOS!!

  16. Year’s ago when Kamuzu Banda built his Academy ku malawi, I was so livid with him when he said, he would not let Anthu Akuda – (Black Brothers), teach at his Academy as they are still “Mu Mutu bii”- translation ” Still In Darkness”. Sure imwe bantu, Do You only have to Clean up, & Renovate Your surrounding’s when there are Foreign dignitaries about to visit Your area?? This should be ongoing, as whenever the need arises. Look @ Zambia today, & compare to when the Colonial Government left. Doti mu musewo, No proper roadside Gardening/Plants. I hate to agree with an Old man like Kamuzu, BUT the evidence is So Overwhelming. Clean up Zambia! No Excuse’s, The Cash is there- Ija yamene mukuba na ma Corruption Yanu. Atase’

  17. #19 Kaleni, am with you. We blacks are still in darkness with a few in light like Botswana, Namimbia and Rwanda.

  18. But kwena there is no place like home! ine when i see such fotos i miss kumo no lukungu, bushe is it just me or it’s normal? miss home bad kind nangu namona kuchibolya i miss, nothing at first class, five star hotel nkayafya ku garden just like tourists do, now i get them, never did!

  19. It is KNIFE EDGE bridge, NOT “Knife” bridge, for God’s sake!!! At least know what you are writing about, even if you can’t write something as simple as a caption!!!

  20. The bridge in the photo is certainly not the Knife Edge Bridge. The bridge in the picture is the main bridge connecting Zambia and Zimbabwe. LT Editor please let us not misinform the public.
