Suspended MMD Die Hard Leader, Bowman Lusambo has accused MMD Deputy National Secretary, Chembe Nyangu of failing to defend his president Nevers Mumba and the party constitution.
In a Letter to Mr. Nyanguand copied to the media , Mr. Lusambo says he was shocked to learn that he had been suspended from the party for defending the party president.
Mr. Lusambo also accused Mr. Nyangu of siding with the four MMD party leaders who he said wanted to overthrow MMD President Nevers Mumba.
Mr. Lusambo says the National Secretary should serve, support and always defend the Presidency and the constitution.
But Mr. Nyangu says Mr. Lusambo should not dare him because he will recommend for his exist from the party at the next National Executive Committee meeting.
Mr. Nyangu says Mr. Lusambo is junior member of the party who does not have an right to issue disparaging statements against senior party leaders.
He described Mr. Lusambo as a loss canon whose stay in the MMD may be shot lived if he continues to disrespect party officials.
Poor MMD. Is this what has befallen the once-powerful party. Wrangle here, wrangle there, wrangle everywhere! And nobody, but nobody in control!
It is surprising that MMD can suspend an ordinary member in Bowman Lusambo. According to MMD, the position of “MMD Die-Hard National Coordinator” does not exist or appear anywhere in any of the known structures of MMD at any level and if that is true how on earth then does Mr. Nyangu pick up a pen and write a letter of suspension to just an ordinary member? How many erring ordinary members is he going to suspend? I thought that one can only suspend a member who holds a certain position because the idea is to stop that person from performing his/her known duties and this can apply to MPs and NEC members. Has Mr. Nyangu suspended Mr. Lusambo from harrassing people? How did Mr. Nyangu address Mr. Lusambo in the letter of suspension anyway? Die-hard National Coordinator or what?

The so-called senior party officials are the ones who caused MMD to lose in 2011.They’re the ones confusing things in MMD.They should leave Dr Mumba alone whom they have not helped much.If you look at the just ended by-elections,where was Chituwo,Kaingu,Simbao Mphande?Since Dr Mumba was in Chipata,these so-called Senior Officials should have been in Mkushi North.
Bowman, I really dont know which structure in MMD you belong. According to Nyangu, you are even junior to a cadre ! So why do you want to potray yourself as a serious meber yet that position was just created by yourself. Die-Hard kuti naimwe !!!!

Senior MMD leaders must be expired if MMD will think of bouncing back. We need the MuhaThese are cowards – stiff scared of Sata. They even fail to campaign for MMD candidates and they expect Nevers Mumba to campaign a lone and win elections. What have they done to MMD since it was ousted out of power. The little scared little men went under when PF came in power. Mumba has braved and fought for them. Their agenda is simple – handover MMD to HH and hoping HH can give them positions when he wins like Mwanawasa did!
Nevers was democratically elected for five years. So wait for the term to end otherwise change your constitution to easily change leaders after losing elections. Do not be naive that a party that lost power can so quickly be attractive. Ask UNIP!
