National Restoration party (NAREP) president Elias Chipimo junior says he is extremely disappointed with the current attacks on the law association of Zambia (LAZ).

Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka this morning, Mr.Chipimo stressed that the attacks on the law association of Zambia are totally unjustified and unacceptable.

Mr. Chipimo points out that it is unfortunate that politicians want to jump on a bandwagon to control any institution which he says is uncalled for.

The NAREP leader who is also lawyer by profession says LAZ is a credible institution and is more united than ever before.

Mr.Chipimo has also expressed concern over the continued riots at the Copperbelt University due to lack of accommodation.

He notes that there is need for government to serious plan on how best they can resolve accommodation crisis in all higher learning institutions.

And Mr. Chipimo has expressed concern over president Michael Sata failure to address the Zambian people on the many challenges affecting the nation.

  1. A sane opposition leader at last!!! Spot on Peter,i just love how you call a spade a spade and how you don’t play to the gallery like the other opposition leaders.Man i salute you for not allowing whims to control you.Thumbs up !!!

    • Saulosi, the ‘useful indidel’ always in support of PamaFi(PF) and those Parties which offer no threat to Power Failure(PF) and the morally bancrapt Kabimba.

    • @Sipopa…judging from the level of your comprehension and choice of words, you are better suited for that infidel role.Unlike you who just shouts down at anything with a PF tag me i always look at the bigger picture.I have a career by the way outside Zambia and it has nothing to do with politics so don’t mistake me for a common cadre you exchange “unpalatable” words with. Only a person with issues can dispute what Peter has said. The man is actually the best, its only a pity that he has a small political base.

  2. Tell them. But everyone should be “attacked” or questioned for their actions or lack of action. If they are tasked with a duty, they have to perform. If they do not, then they should be “attacked”.

  3. I see that Chipimo doesn’t know much about LAZ Banda’s network. If you are not sure of what you are talking about its better to keep quiet. You don’t have to be a grade seven to see through Banda’s schemes. Yes talk about CBU not LAZ.

    • From the look of things, it seems that it is you who does not know much. Chipimo is himself a lawyer and member of LAZ. How can he not know what he is talking about. You should shut up and let people who know what they are talking about speak up! Sha!!!

  4. I thought you were wise, but I now conclude that you are also an ***** Chipimo, what is wrong in attacking LAZ, if them selves can attack others. You are just showing your stupidity. LAZ is just an organization of *****s like you, and if their performance is suspect they should be told off.

  5. The problem with Elias is that, any criticism to anyone in the public eye is not bad. No one is immune from criticism. The law Association of Zambia is toothless and visionless. Too many wide statements that are not impartial or broad. Lawyers are suppose to guide the masses on issues relating to law. However, too many times statements are from drunken lawyers with little knowledge on wide and misleading. Change should start from the lawyers to avoid criticism. LAZ needs sober minded people to lead and when it comes to guide the nation, they need thorough give guidance as lawyers not as drunken grade one. Too rush to jump on anything without reflecting on what they say and the impact this will have on LAZ as an organisation and the nation that once held LAZ with high esteem.

  6. Chipimo thinks he is too clever than many. Stupid people make statement like this . CB university is another thing. Too many students from universities in Zambia think getting there you are above the law you do whatever you want. Many think to be at Uni you are better than others or getting a degree they are educated .no nooooooo there are too many obstacles to over come

  7. Sipopa it’s just that you hate PF and that does not anyone will hate PF. Everyone is free to belong to political party or have the political ideology that fits his liking. The issue here is not about PF it’s about LAZ which is in bad sharp

  8. LAZ is not in bad shape, it is PF which is in a terrible state. You PF cadres need to start thinking and not support every nonsense. I can see Fred M’membe has done a good job in brainwashing you.

  9. What’s wrong with the levels on education in Zed? Please leave politics alone u r such a dull en boring pipo, Europeans en Americans don’t even follow politics they r busy entertainment en sports.

    • Hey bro the Americans you are talking about have a good life. So,if there are real issues to deal you us to remain zee? No.Well if your life is good just don’t comment period.

  10. As long as Power Failure is in control, there is nothing we can do. Look what is in the Court of law- ” In the name of the President”, then can one say the president is bending the law when all power is under his jurisdiction? He shall be vulnerable when he leaves that office but as at now he will keep on doing things that he feels are right in his eyes. Something must be done.

  11. Speak out more often, Chipimo. And start being more specific in your criticisms. You must start naming and shaming where you see wrong. You’ll make enemies but people will sit up and see that you are a force to be reckoned with.
    It’s the way of politics

  12. Iwe ka Elias , whats your point?

These learned brothers from LAZ are just COWARDS ! We have been crying for guidance on this matter for a long time now, they ve been ziiiiiiiiiiiiiii. They say one incomplete thing against that chap from supreme court, they go ziiiiii! and now this ka Elias comes out and complains without bringing out facts, imwe tuma lawyers, what kind of pipo are you kanshi?
Can you just come out loud and give us the DATA we need to know so that we can understand what this crap is all about.

  13. Plain and simple when things are going wrong a president should come forth and explain things not remain mute like rupiah was always mute,he was so mute he didnt see himself losing they kot him by surprise, watchout
