National Restoration Party (NAREP) President Elias Chipimo junior has observed that the PF government has lamentably failed to lead the country towards economic prosperity.

Mr Chipimo says after nearly two years of being in power, government has continued to give exaggerated figures on how many jobs have been created.

He says government should show seriousness with regards to statements made pertaining to the economy.

Mr. Chipimo says he is extremely shocked with the new levels of alleged lies being told by government officials.

He dismisses government’s announcement that it has created over hundred thousand jobs in the tourism sector just within two years of being in office.

  1. Challenge them we want to see more being done its not time for them to go on holiday tell them they should pull up their socks it is time for work 2years is a long time

    • Chipimo will not get anywhere with broad unqualified statements. Best to assess PF and their performance after the 5 years you so whole heartedly and constitutionally gave them. Crying foul before that time is somewhat premature and childish.

Chipimo claims job creation figures are exaggerated – by how much exactly, boss? Give us specifics and show the lies statistically. There is clear evidence that jobs have been created in the tourism sector, but most of them will only last the duration of the UNWTO conference and I would have expected Chipimo to argue in the direction of the permanency of the jobs.

I am sure PF can find a very temporary job opening for Chipimo as a tour guide if he feels so left out of the action in LIvingstone.

    • Chipimo has a point here. If 100,000 jobs were created in Zambia, you’d see the impact immediately. It would not be the way things are right now. Young people are still on the streets or at their parents’ homes asking for money to go to Levy Junction or simply wasting time. To give you an idea of how many jobs these would be, a typical division of ZCCM used to employ about 9,000 workers each (and about 70,000 in total). This was the engine of those of you who grew up on the Copperbelt. If 100,000 jobs have been really created, that would mean we have exceeded the figures previously had in those days.

Now, without even checking the numbers, ask yourself who is telling the truth. This is simply common sense.

    • Why? You perhaps think he’s your compatriot from the planet Zorg?
No. He is a true tried and tested Zambian.
Any other trivial nonsense we can help you with?

  2. PF has done what the previous gvts failed to achieve .There has bn creation & rentation of jobs in all sectors.viva MCS

  3. Ba mwaice ba Elias,it seems you have run out of what to talk about. By the end of this year most of you guys will swallow your on words. Let s wait and see. Sata is not even interested talking to you because you have no substance…….. TALK TALK TALK………

    • I understand your doubt because he doesn’t participate in your mutual penis-stroking fests in dark alleys.
      Yes, he is a man.

  4. ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN ONE DAY, NEITHER WAS HH’S CONTROVERSIAL WEALTH ACQUIRED IN TWO YRS. IT TAKES TIME AND IT WILL TAKE TIME, ESPECIALLY AFTER MMD’S 20 YRS OF PLUNDER. JUST CHILL WE’LL EVENTUALLY GET THERE. NOT EVEN HH WOULD HAVE TRANSFORMED THIS NATION AND CREATED THOUSANDS OF JOBS IN TWO YRS, ANY SERIOUS AND LOGICAL PERSON WOULD UNDERSTAND THAT. BUT I KNOW POLITICIANS HAVE TO KEEP TALKING EVEN IF IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE TO AT LEAST BE SEEN THAT YOU EXIST.

  5. FIRST get some parliamentary seats Elias then SECOND start making such judgements and statements. You have the whole thing backwards boyi

  6. Gents
if the Mbala-nakonde road, Matumbo- Chama road are on, if the 8 000km road project has taken off, if the kitwe -chingola dual carriage works have commenced, if infrastructure in new districts and new province is being built, if the Mongu stadium is on, if the upgrading of roads in Lusaka has commenced, then employment has been created because I do not expect all these projects to work themselves into being. Mr. Chipimo and others would not have done better. If we had felt that they would do a better job, we would have voted for them but we knew how incapable they are.

    • some thing is being done but selectively. we know what is happening in Muchinga. but what has happened in NWP were i originate?
