The Patriotic Front (PF) Muchinga province leadership says it has endorsed President Muchael Sata as a sole candidate for 2016 elections.
Speaking to the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) in Mpika yesterday, Provincial Publicity Secretary Mulenga Mwanashiku said the entire PF leadership in Muchinga knows very well that President Sata has to run for two terms.
Mr Mwanashiku said the party in the province has resolved to endorse President Sata as a sole candidate for 2016 elections adding that Muchinga province will only start thinking of someone to take over from President Sata after 2021.
Mr Mwanashiku charged that if at all there are some PF members who are championing the idea of stopping President Sata from contesting as a presidential candidate for 2016, the party in Muchinga is saying that such people are not true members but mere opportunists and enemies of the huge developmental scores Zambia is witnessing under the leadership of President Sata.
And Provincial Women Chairlady Mary Chifuna says no amount of pressure will change the people of Muchinga over the resolve they have made to endorse President Sata as a sole candidate for 2016 elections.

My opinion: Endorsements of Sata are not really about Sata, they are intended to block Bwinjimfumu from imposing a Candidate who they would promote and vigorously campaign for in their paper. This time the schemes of Bwinjimfumu have been laid bare!

Sata is the best candidate for opposition because now the whole country knows who sata really is. It was so hard for us to convince the born-nineties who sata was. Now they have seen for themselves.

Please give Sata a chance to rest he has been a very busy man since 2001. His health is failing him and you the endorsers are pushing him to his grave quickly. Is this really proof that there is totally nobody in PF who can captain the boat? This party will disappear faster than it came because Zambians will not make a mistake of voting into office an old sick man! We really do not want to continue with people from school of hard knocks, they never want to learn new ideas and change!
Who gives a rats ass about endorsements.There is nothing wrong with endorsing a guy who is head of your party and it should not be news.Where is the debate about jobs? good health care? Education? Zambian women are dying of Cervical cancer due to HPV and Hiv and we are busy debating endorsements? Grow up Zambia and learn to debate things that are a priority and not stupidity!

By the time we get to the general elections, they will have forgotten who they endorsed, therefore, lets not make so much noise and this topic makes me feel dizzy each time i come accross it, this is my last comment it’s not sexy enough for us bloggers!
come 2016 there shall be no stone unturned. what ever the situation shall be, come rain come sunshine, with without Sata PF will find it tuff.
