Lubambo picked for Cosafa U20

Zambia Under-20 coach Oswald Mutapa has named talented Power Dynamos winger Lubambo Musonda in his final 20-member squad for the December Cosafa Youth Championship in Lesotho.

Musonda was a late inclusion in the provisional squad after key
under-20 players Austin Muwowo and Charles Zulu suffered injuries
during the training camp in Lusaka.

Other notables in the final squad announced on Tuesday are Zanaco
keeper Mangani Banda, Kabwe Warriors youngster Godfrey Ngwenya and
defender Spencer Sautu of Forest Rangers.

The Junior Chipolopolo squad is scheduled to leave for Lesotho on
Sunday ahead of the regional youth championship that will run from
December 3-14.

The defending champions have been placed in Group C along with South
Africa, Namibia and Seychelles.

Zambia begins their Cosafa Youth Championship title defence on
December 4 against Namibia in a 16h30 kick off at Mafeteng.

  1. Are the Chinese not capable of training football? These local coaches worries me. Maybe the best is to take coaches like the Women Under 17 coach, he looks like a school teacher, not those former players.
