Former Katuba Member of Parliament Jonas Shakafuswa is confident of scooping the Katuba Parliamentary seat in the 25th February by-election.
The Katuba seat fell vacant following the death of Dr. Patrick Chikusu who was opposition Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) area member of parliament.
Mr. Shakafuswa has told Q-News in an interview that he intends to stand on the UPND ticket in order to strengthen the opposition stance.
He has since implored Katuba residents noted to be intimidated by the PF following statements that they will only take development to areas where they are voted for.
He says the UPND will not use PF money to develop Katuba but the money which belongs to the people of Zambia.
Mr. Shakafuswa has since urged the people of Katuba to vote wisely in the forthcoming by-election.
