Power Dynamos beat Zesco United

Power Dynamos remained on course to winning the ongoing Four Team Pre-season tournament in Ndola after thumping Zesco United 2-0 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Wednesday.

Zambia striker Alex Ng’onga’s second half brace propelled Power to victory over ten men Zesco, who had defender Charles Siyingwa sent off fr a second booking in the 86th minute.

Ng’onga was on the score-sheet in the 60th and 80th minutes as Power outplayed Zambia’s envoys in the 2014 CAF Confederation Cup.

Power have increased their tally to six points in two matches at the tournament being played on a round robin basis.

The Arthur Davies side kicked off the tournament with a 3-2 win over Mamelodi Sundowns last Saturday and their last fixture is against DR Congo’s Don Bosco this Saturday.

  2. Being a Power Dynamos supporter, I am delighted to note that there are indications that my team will not be “a laughing stock” this season.
