Sitting African Presidents are the main causers of wars and confusion on the African continent. Why should a few corrupt, greed and selfish PF criminals hijact a document that belongs to the Zambian people? This lunatic at state house promised Zambian people a constituion in 90 days, now the fo.o.l changes all of sudden just because it now suits him. May rot in hell Sata after you check out.

WE, THE PEOPLE OF ZAMBIA …
DO HEREBY SOLEMNLY ADOPT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION

Defence of Constitution
2. Every person has the right and duty to –
(a) defend this Constitution; and
(b) resist or prevent a person from overthrowing, suspending or illegally abrogating this Constitution.

So It is US and NOT the PF Govt that has the power. We shall demand for what belongs to US.

Mukalanda mukanaka. The zambian people have known Sata for a very long time. He is very staborn. He will release the constitution when he feels like it and come 2016, he’s still going to win the election.

This is good. Sata is playing with Zambians. He is a chief manipulator but this time around, he won’t manage. Let Sata and Kabimba give Zambians the constitution and not what they are doing. Cobra naka Justice Minister akaloshi, give us the constitution please.

#12 Comment By Rackba On January 17, 2014 @ 10:42 am

It is important for the PF government to listen to the people now before its too late. PF must remember that times are changing and that the people are no longer the same. Look at what is still happening in the Arab world. Lets avoid that because in such cases, there is no winner or loser. You came to power by pretending that you are a man of action but what we see is worse than what MMD was doing.
Late President Mwanawasa said and i quote: Better the devil you know than the Angel you don’t know. It was better with MMD than with PF.

#31 Comment By Euro On January 17, 2014 @ 12:14 pm

LT you are doing well on the issue of the constitution, please keep it up and remind us of what this PF govt promised. I read in the british history a long time ago, one of the kings wanted to bypass parliament in his decision making and war broke out between those that wanted parliamentary consultation and those that supported the king. The king lost and power was restored to parliament.

The same way all of us need to fight for this constitution which actually looks alright so far, not for our personal benefit, but for the future of Zambia, for our children and children’s children. The freedom we are enjoying now in developed countries was fought for by some people who did not live to enjoy that freedom.

#32 Comment By Nine Chale On January 17, 2014 @ 12:50 pm

Getting the constitution is not the main problem. The real challenge will be in making sure that the country is governed by the constitution.

#33 Comment By Treetop On January 17, 2014 @ 2:23 pm

Very dull, how do you make sure that the country is managed by the constitution when the constitution is not there in the first place. Wake up it is time for change.

#34 Comment By bystander On January 17, 2014 @ 6:32 pm

@ Nine Chale. What an *****! I have observed in all comment that you try your hardest to sound wise and intelligent, which clearly you’re not. Nothing original comes from you. Its all limited to stating the obvious just show others that you have commented. My advise is, if you have nothing to say, just observe and learn.

#35 Comment By steve-C On January 17, 2014 @ 1:00 pm

Fathers, bishops, priests and church elders pushing for this document are offside, let the people of the country push for it, am not against pushing for it, your job is to preach the gospel not politics, any one who can challenge me that politics and gospel can walk together show me the scripture from the bible.

#36 Comment By Euro On January 17, 2014 @ 1:19 pm

What you mean is only the people of this country should push for the constitution. The “fathers, bishops, priests and church elders” are not of this country?

#37 Comment By Mokonzi On January 17, 2014 @ 2:35 pm

Ba Steve C muli chipuba fye pamo ne chinenu chi Sata.

#38 Comment By Charles Zulu On January 17, 2014 @ 1:43 pm

Could all these NGOs and ordinary folk have been bought by UPND (HH)?? Anyway we all know the answer to this. What goes around comes back again. Something has to give sooner rather than later. This is quite a bit of an embarrassment, big people should not lie, hey?? Shame.

#39 Comment By pompwe On January 17, 2014 @ 4:11 pm

give us the document..we want our constitution..viva !!!!long live Zambia

#40 Comment By steve-C On January 17, 2014 @ 5:13 pm

@mukunzi your tone shows how you fail to understand why don’t you bring a challenge,
Jesus was in this world and He was rejected, he said am not of this world. therefore, the children of God are not of the world, if you are then I know your father.

#41 Comment By Mei Matungu On January 17, 2014 @ 6:15 pm

Unity is power! This is a red card to the PF.

#42 Comment By Mei Matungu On January 17, 2014 @ 7:03 pm

Fantastic solidarity by the Zambian people against these shameless gun-totting pirates who have hijacked the Constitution making process. The Constitution is not a PF Constitution but a Zambian Constitution. It doesn’t belong to the PF nor to the PF government. The New Constitution belongs to the people of Zambia and the Zambian people are in order to demand for it.

Its the worst kind of robbery to steal the Constitution from the people. Must the whole country be held hostage by one demon?

#43 Comment By Constitution On January 17, 2014 @ 9:17 pm

I warned you ALL at the general elections: it would be a grave mistake to vote for a ‘snake’ and turn a blind eye to honest and right thinking candidates. There you are now; the cobra is spitting venoms into your eyes. Do the right thing before it transmutes itself into a python and swallow the whole lot of ye.

#44 Comment By Chikubabe On January 18, 2014 @ 3:21 am
