Forum for Democratic Process (FODEP) has charged that the delay in enacting the Access to Information Bill is what has caused the leakage of the constitution on online Media.

Executive Director McDonald Chipenzi said had government implemented the Access to Information Law by now in the country, the people of Zambia would have had easy Access to any kind of Information they want.

Mr. Chipenzi noted that this also serves as a lesson to government they should not even contemplate to ban social Media because people are living in an era of social Media which cannot be stopped as no one is willing to go back to the Stone Age.

Mr. Chipenzi has since challenged government to be more open, transparent and accountable.

  1. I dont think any thing will hold considering the Leaker is someone we might not even have expected, as for banning social media, that was just someone slipping their tongue in order to sound more solid!

  2. Was Draft Constitution leaked or simply released to the Zambians at same time it was presented to the President as per Terms of Reference??

  3. We as Zambians are a gift to our on country, we shall surely protect HE MCS from out commentaries however we will deal with the best way we know, silence until we say ” Bwekeleni ku myenu” We did that to Kaunda, Chiluba and Banda. Surely we have Sata as somebody who has failed to stand by his words. Bufu Master

Everything around this man is not going well. If it is Dr. Scott, Kabimba, Mmembe, Lombe, Matibini and Nchito. Please have pity on this man. Stop it before it goes completely out of hand. You lack of seriousness on managing the affairs of the nation is not amusing at all. No one appears to know at present where the country is heading. But the road appears to be a very bumpy one. The stories you are churning out on the constitution do not make sense. Today you say we did not receive the constitution, tomorrow you say the technical committee did not give some papers to you. Don’t you know where to find the technical team? Why…
