Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda has charged that the central committee of the Patriotic Front (PF) was the only supreme organ of the party that had the authority to expel any member of the party and has advised former Defence Minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba to remain focused and loyal to his principles despite the persecution he is going through.

Lubinda who was once a victim of persecution in the party enduring a suspension whose cause was never explained said what had happened to the Kasama Member of Parliament was not strange and that everything had a purpose.

Lubinda said since the Northern Province PF executive committee had only recommended that the Kasama strongman should be expelled from the party, the onus was now on the central committee to look at the merits and demerits of the recommendations before making the final decision.

He said while the Provincial executive committee had the right to recommend any disciplinary action including expulsion of a member from the party, it was the mandate of the central committee to make the final decision on any disciplinary action against any member of the party.

Asked about what was happening in the party with the purported expulsion of Mwamba popularly known as GBM, Lubinda said it was the PF secretary general Wynter Kabimba who should answer the question because he was the most powerful leader in the ruling party.

“The person who is supposed to answer the questions you are asking is Wynter Kabimba, the all powerful man in the PF. He is the spokesperson, the secretary general and the Justice Minister.

For me I am just watching like everybody else in the party but my strong advice to my colleague GBM is that he must not change and abandon the values and principles he believes in.

These things happen for a reason and he must not be shaken. He must continue performing for the PF to the best of his abilities,” Lubinda said.

Lubinda advised Mwamba to continue behaving in a manner that would be deemed honourable to the ruling party and general membership

  1. Bo Lubinda! Which values and principles does the punching first have? Everybody does as he/she pleases in the name of the A team.Could you also be among the most useless MPs in the shebang considering that you are just watching from the terraces?

  2. well aticulated mr lubinda, we will support you and GBM. wynter is a suck of dog balls.
    GBM be focussed my man and after all this, you should go and kick wynter’s balls

    • Well done for voicing out at this critical moment Mr Lubinda sir! Just the two of you (Mr GBM and yourself) are enough to help save our country! Thank you sir!

    • let them expel GBM so that we will see his popularity…..of course he will return the seat with a margin of votes…….or let him just join the wining team called UPND……..

    • This is presidential material without a doubt. Whenever you speak your mind it is full of nothing but substance! You are destined for greatness.

    • From what’s being happening I can pick on who will be President and Vice President past 2016.

      Given Lubinda for Repubican President and GBM as his vice. Let’s all go and campaign for this team. This is true leadership.

  3. Wynter Kabimba, the all powerful man in the PF. He is the spokesperson, the secretary general and the Justice Minister.

  4. LT : “Lubinda Advised Mwamba To Continue Behaving In A Manner That Would Be Deemed Honorable To The Ruling Party And General Membership.” Is he listening? Millionaires Like HH, Don’t Listen? They are puff headed…

    GBM & HH, DECEIVE THEMSELVES INTO BELIEVING THAT THEY CAN BE PRESIDENT BY ASSOCIATING THEMSELVES WITH PARTICULAR TRIBES.
    THEY PRIVATELY USE ARCHAIC TRIBAL TALK SUCH AS,

    “We people from North Western Rhodesia should unite. If we give power to these Bembas, we’ll never get it back?”, 2009.

  5. Apparently the strong man referred to, A Wynter Kabinda is a useless cadre who doesn’t seem to know his roles as secretary general of the party. And that post of Justice minister is too big for him, he has reduced that important position such that is looks useless now. I agree with other leaders who mentioned that Kabimba is the most dull lawyer in Africa. If he knew his roles, all the confusion in pf, the infightings, corruption tendency were not going to be heard during his tenure..nomba awe sure..its takataka, the man like his boss are now hiding behind facebook posts. All he does, he wakes up in morning, greets people on fb, and says goodnite when going to bed…with tumaposts of foreign meetings he is attending…Zambia is now facebook country, twafwa!!!

  6. HONORABLE LUBINDA YOU ALWAYS INSPIRE ME IN YOUR RESPONSES AND ANALYSIS.ITS VERY UNFORTUNATE THAT YOU FIND YOURSELF IN A GROUP OF LIARS AND *****IC CHARACTERS.ITS VERY DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND THIS PERSECUTION GBM IS PASSING THROUGH TODAY.A SENIOR MEMBER OF GBM STATUS BEING TREATED THIS WAY JUST BECAUSE HE HAS RESIGNED FROM GOVERNMENT POSITION,ITS VERY AMAZING.HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR GBM AND FEW OTHERS PF WOULDNT HAVE TASTED POWER TODAY.EVEN THESE SMALL PEOPLE WHO ARE USED TO CHAMPION HIS EXPULSION TODAY KNOWS THIS FACT.WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ARE IN THIS PARTY?ANYWAY SINCE SATA FORGETS SO EASILY HE HAS FORGOTEN EVERYTHING THAT GBM DID TO HIM.BUT HE MUST BE REMINDED THAT 2016 IS NOT VERY FAR HE WILL FACE US VOTERS.

  7. Ba Chimbwi mulishilu taata,do you know how much by-election cost thats why we buying mealie meal at 75-80kwacha its because of you brainless people who solicit for by-election because thats were money is going.

  8. If today Lubinda can stand as the president under PF, I can come to vote for you great and wise man. Many PF fear your wisdom. Who knows may be you can be a next president not Ba Wynter

  9. Honourable Lubinda – that is reason i salute you, calm and courageous. Yes, we all have our own challenges but your ability to speak for the persecuted makes you stand out as a leader. Your fearless conduct will earn you the best. Zambia needs your brains – i know where we can be with your leadership. I can’t wait to see the change. Imagining you as Zambia’s President! The nation would have been where it belongs. Never relent in standing with those who are persecuted – soldier on and go beyond the confines of power. I voted for you to take our country forward and it is in such a moment that patriotic leaders are defined. Other are Problematic Leaders – doing all they can to cause confuse and plunder our motherland.

  10. Mr. Lubinda, do you honestly believe there’s any life remaining in PF? What surprises me is when people like you stick in a party that is on a self destruction spiral. Come 2016 PF will be completely buried. And if you think you will quit at the wee hours of 2016 to join a progressive party, no one will take you seriously. And in 2016 people will not be voting for parties but individuals with principles. Both GBM and you Mr. Lubinda lack principles. Quit PF now! Otherwise all this talk you are putting up is hogwash. Quit if you are a Man, it has been said.

  11. Lubinda knows the importance of sticking to the ruling party. This is good advice to GBM, once GBM leaves PF he will be finished by Sata and is his bootlickers

  12. Hon. Lubinda,
    Please consider following legal prerequisites which take precedence over any party statute:
    a) Nemo Index in causa sua (bias);
    b) Audi alterm partem (hearing);
    c) pre-requisites not fulfilled;
    d) Error of Law on face of record;
    e) No Jurisdiction or Power;
    f) Bad faith and
    g) Breach of Fundamental Rights.
    Need to say more?

  13. Hon Lubinda, I beleive Libala/Kamwala South are part of your constituency? Have been on the roads in these areas lately? Don’t forget, 2016 will be judgement year. The tarring of the roads stated in 2010. What value have you added to them since then?

  14. Yes bo Lubinda you behaved like an honourable person while being incarcerated by these PFo.ols but in the end do they treat you like one of them? Do you want GBM to be treated the same way you are being treated
