PRESIDENT Michale Sata last night left for the European Union, (EU)-Africa Summit scheduled to be held in Brussels on April 2 and 3, 2014.

In his facebook posting today, made from Amsterdam, Mr Sata said he would be in Brussels to attend the summit.

“Good morning Dear Friends, I’m currently in Amsterdam enroute to Brussels for the European Union (EU) – Africa summit. Good day and Happy Sunday,” he said.

According to the programme, the 4th EU-Africa Summit will take place in Brussels on 2-3 April 2014.

It will bring together African and EU leaders, as well as the leaders of EU and African Union institutions.

Discussions at the summit will focus on the theme “Investing in People, Prosperity and Peace”. And topics will include education and training, women and youth, legal and illegal migrant flows between both continents, and ways to stimulate growth and create jobs.

Other discussions will be centered on investing in peace and ways to enhance EU support for African capacities to manage security on the continent.

Previous summits took place in Cairo in 2000, Lisbon 2007 and Tripoli in 2010.

The 2014 summit will be an opportunity to take a fresh look at the EU-Africa partnership, to highlight some of the results that have been achieved, and to explore areas for future cooperation.

  1. The Facebook President who does not notify the citizens about his whereabouts before leaving the country.
It’s George Chellah posting and not Sata. What a pity!

    • What is in Sata’s speech, which has already discarded by EU secretariat.
      In my country of Zambia
People: all my peoples are USELESS. They even came up with people-driven constitution,
Prosperity: I first removed Zeros from Kwacha and since then it has stated falling at same rate as my PF boat is sinking.
Peace: My police are at Chitimukulu’s house maintaining peace. I just told HH not to visit peaceful useless people Eastern province.

    • @Nostradamus
you forgot one point…. “and my useless people can only survive if you europeans give them nkongole,, we need more nkongole“`

    • I must say the President is looking well! I wish him well and I hope he can impart the knowledge he picks up from this workshop and deliver us the constitution.

  2. From the summit where he will understand zero, he will disappear to some destination for detoxification. We will only know that he is in india when the Zambian Watchdog traces his awareabouts to some hospital in Bombay or Bombay hospital in UK.

  3. I had head that they wanted to ban Facebook sometime back when they were upset about Watch Dog. Now PF seems to really enjoy Social media announcing almost all mportant issues via Facebook. So don’t burn a bridge simply because your enemy used it as you may need it one day.

  4. We are back in full force in KK era. All the military commanders and the vice-president were ordered to escort the president at midnight!

    • This is part of state protocol. President Sata would be the first to get rid of it were it not a requirement. Rules are rules. Sooner or later you will be claiming he does not respect procedure.

  5. More embarrassments to come for Zambia!

Lets us hope this old F00L can keep his mouth shut so the world does not see we have mentally challenged ignoramus in State house.

  6. Who is the acting president from the USELESS Ministers?
I hope Chishimba Kambwili will bring up the matter of “useless ministers” to run the country when the only hardworking Sata is away.

  7. Sata will have nothing important to contribute he’s merely there for photo op and to make up the numbers.Being president for Sata is about swearing in ceremonies and spur of the moment decisions with occasional stupid remarks.

    • Just for “we were there also when the decision was made” but no sensible contribution apart from some st.upid jokes here and there.

  8. You UPND cadres who sleep with laptops needs thorough psychiatric evaluation. You are all sick in your heads. Get it in your heads that HE Sata is President and there is nothing you can do about it. We shall start addressing your chairman hichilema in a similar manner ba ngewele mwaya sana

  9. Welkom My uncle… hope you have brought with you some mashroom and ifishimu for us! I will arrange some bazungu fans just like Last week when Obama was here, lets get busy guys!

  10. Oh,just our own, reliable ZWD has informed us already. Thanks LT but you could do better by digging deeper into activities of this Loose/slippery Cu-non masquerading as President.

    • Just because the (Z)one of (W)orldly (D)evils got the news first, does not mean the state had withheld this info. from the public.

  11. Outside topic:
Enjoying bloomberg African business news week, Zambian Kwacha and Ghanian Cedi are the worst currencies in Africa this year! Due to lower Copper prices affected export eanings and lack of liguidity in to the inter bank market! Meanwhile Mr Chikwandas response is reassuring I only only hope things will shape up.
I would also like to take this rare opportunity to urge bloggers who just oppose and say things without facts or knowledge why markets flactuate or behave the way they do to gate more info before they shoot or else I will label them clueless cadres!
However, shocking to learn that even the Somalian currency has more stone than our Kwacha!

  12. This man is truly wasteful of taxpayer’s money you telling me that all govt officals have to dress up on Saturday night and see him off…when is this nonsense going to end. Why can’t he not just fly out and seen off by the manager on duty at KK airport.

  13. I must say, the men in uniform really look smart.
Some bloggers only see the negative aspect in everything involving our president.
    The HH PHD Syndrome.

  14. Just look at the entourage. Its the whole family. kids and wives. Make no mistake, we shall throw all these in chifungo

  15. But Sata your friend Mugabe is asking for all Africans to boycott this summit for he and his wife’s sake!

  16. Bwana President you don’t need to tell anyone your whereabouts you are on the ZWD radar and HH will be recalling you soon to accept a first class ticket to where he wants you to come with him. Don’t respond to any of this you are above us. You lead us. You lead me to and you reign over me as things stand.
