Zambia Under-17 national team coach Chris Kaunda is cheered by the team’s invitation for next month’s Moscow Youth Championship in Russia.
Kaunda’s squad that been invited for the youth football tournament in the Russian capital Moscow to take place from 13-18 May.
The team is preparing for the 2015 CAF Under-17 Cup qualifiers to be played in July.
Kaunda said the Moscow tournament will help Zambia to prepare for the July qualifiers against Botswana.
“The invitation has come at the right time. I am grateful to the Zambian and the Russian Governments and their cooperation with FAZ,” he said.
Kaunda added:”It is going to help us prepare for the Africa Cupqualifier as we are going to play Botswana in July.”
He has since announced a 24-member Under-17 squad that regroups in Lusaka on Sunday.
