Simukonda warns Power

Share

Nchanga Rangers coach Fighton Simukonda has cautioned FAZ Super League leaders Power Dynamos against complaisance as they meet his side on Sunday.

Nchanga and Power clash in the 13h00 kickoff match at Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe before Konkola Mine Police face Red Arrows to complete the Sunday doubleheader.

Power have made a perfect start to the season – recording three straight victories to amass nine points.

“Every team in the Premier League is strong and everyone wants to win the league, equally we want to win the league,” Simukonda said.

The Chingola side is smarting from a 3-1 defeat at Zesco United in the last fixture while Power clashed Konkola Mine Police 6-0 at the weekend.

“We lost on Saturday and they won but if they relax too bad we will be at them,” he said.

Nchanga are fifth on the table with six points from three matches.

  1. Its rare for an opposition coach to give this kind of advice. In one way, it gives an indication that the soccer fraternity believes that Power Dynamos is back where it belongs. Go Power go!
