Political Activist Dante Saunders said it is feasible for Zambia to create an Electoral Court to deal with electoral petitions.
Veteran politician Vernon Mwaanga has also welcomed the idea of establishing an Electoral Court to be headed by a qualified judge, which will dispose off electoral petitions within 90 days.
Mr.Saunders said similar courts have worked well in other countries in resolving electoral disputes.
Mr. Saunders added that such courts have worked well in other countries owing to the fact that they have good constitutions.
He told Qfm News in a telephone interview that this is why Zambia should also have a good constitution which will allow for the establishment of a constitutional court.
He said this is what people have been calling for all along.

Mr Saunders, you talk as if the PF politicians have said they want to develop the country. Those suggestions are worthy making to people who care, people who have a genuine interest in patriotism, in collective good and in the general well being of the poor.
Am afraid those people are not PF.

what you are talking about is not new or your idea, its a proposal that that has been talked about by many people and is likely included in the draft constitution.
So just wait for the new constitution then check for it (if you can read and understand) than to appear like you are intelligent when in fact you just making a big f00l of yourself
This is a good idea as it will speed up the process!
It will promote impunity and lack of respect for laid down laws.

If these can be different from what they are now, it can be better. We have small claims court, how are they doing? if things are better there is no corruption, yes then this Electoral court can work. What destroys everything is corruption and hungry for power that the judge can just be instructed to rule in favour of the powers in position.
