Zambia Under-20 assistant coach Bilton Musonda has sad they are closely monitoring prospective opponents Namibia and Mozambique.
Young Chipolopolo will face either Namibia or Mozambique in their Senegal 2015 African Youth Championship second round qualifier in May.
“We are monitoring our opponents in the Africa Youth qualifiers and have acquired a DVD on the first leg of the game involving Mozambique and Namibia played in Maputo with the host nation carrying the day winning 2-1,” Musonda said after Tuesday afternoon training at Barclays Sports Complex in Lusaka.
“We have tried to analyze their style of play to help us prepare well. We will be ready for them.”
Zambia Under-20, who enjoyed a first round bye, will travel for their second round, first leg match during the weekend of May 9-11 while the return leg will be played on May 24.
Winner will advance to the final qualifying stage where they will face winner of the first round tie involving DR Congo versus the first round winner of the Botswana-Malawi match.
DR Congo,like Zambia, enjoy a first round bye.
Final leg first round matches will be played during the weekend of April 25-27.
