President Sata’s state sponsored Terrorism

With more than half the term of the Patriotic Front (PF) mandate gone, it is becoming evidently clear that Mr. Sata is a mis-fit in a democratic setting such as ours. The decline in the enjoyment of civil liberties, the deficiencies in good governance and the total breakdown of law and order since the ascendance of Mr. Sata to the Presidency all attest to the fact that Zambia has a full blown dictator as President.

Mr. Sata’s Character

A careful analysis of Mr. Sata’s conduct shows that violence and terrorism are a big part of the current President’s character.

(i) Colonial History

We are made to understand that Mr. Sata was a ‘Capri cone’ who used to spy on freedom fighters and caused many of them to be beaten and arrested by colonial masters.

(ii) One Party State History

He was part of the vigilante group that unleashed untold misery to our people during the one party state era.

(iii) Post One Party State era

Mr. Sata as National Secretary of the Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) introduced panga wielding cadres on the Zambian political scene especially during the Chawama by-election of 2001.

He further orchestrated the 3rd term campaign violence that characterized the MMD convention of 2001.

This is the man who is President today, and remember a leopard does not change its spots.

Political violence under the PF Government

Ever since President Sata ascended to power in 2011, political violence has escalated. Some of the recorded incidences of political violence were in Rufunsa, Livingstone, Kanyama, Kabwata, Kasama and Eastern Province. Others were at Woodlands Police Station, Kampasa and Cathedral of the Holy Cross. The list is endless.

PF Militia attack at Sun FM Radio in Ndola

The latest incident happened just a few days ago in Ndola. The PF Militia who were heavily armed with guns, machetes, planks and other weapons attacked UPND members at Sun FM radio station. Going by the weapons in the possession of these thugs and their savage actions, one can safely state that what they intended to do was to kill.

We are deliberately describing the PF thugs as a militia because they suit into the dictionary meaning of a militia. They are an armed force, a private army and a band of soldiers who have been spotted in combat military uniform. In the Ndola incidence, the PF militia fired gun shots at both the Sun FM Radio Station and the UPND regional Secretariat.

The PF attack at Sun FM Radio Station is also meant to scare media institutions from inviting opposition leaders and other stakeholders with views different from those of the PF from featuring on their programmes. The attacks are also intended to stifle debate and infringe on our constitutional freedoms of speech and expression. This is totally unacceptable and should not be condoned. We appeal to all concerned stakeholders such as the media, church, civil society organizations, political parties and the international community to pay attention to the degenerating situation in Zambia and condemn this barbaric attack on media institutions.

Police Conduct

Police have become increasingly brutal, unprofessional, biased and compromised under the PF administration. Judging from their conduct, no citizen should expect Police protection when attacked by PF militias. If anything, our citizens risk being sold out to the PF by the very Police which is supposed to protect them, a trend which should come to an end forthwith.

Ministry of Home Affairs Conduct

The Ministry of Home Affairs has allowed a situation to obtain where law enforcement is executed in a manner that protects PF militias/thugs at the expense of other citizens. How does the Minister explain the current situation where no arrests are effected to known PF cadres who have continued to commit serious crimes such as grabbing land from genuine owners, injuring and in some cases killing citizens, wearing military gear, wielding pangas and other dangerous weapons, carrying guns and discharging live ammunition in public. In the case of Sun FM, the Police have arrested none of the thugs yet they were present at the scene and know the ring leaders by name.

Fear over Constitution

We are aware that the PF are agitated and panicking over the consistent demands by Zambians for a people driven constitution. When they heard that the UPND leadership was on the Copperbelt they were shaken. In their panic they thought the solution was to eliminate us. This will not diminish the people’s demand to have a new constitution.

Conclusion

(i) Assassination Attempt

Looking at the manner in which the attack on us at Sun FM was executed and the weapons in possession of the PF thugs including the gun shots fired, it is clear that this was an assassination attempt.

The PF wants to eliminate the UPND leadership. This is a dangerous plan that the PF have for the country. Shedding blood is not a good strategy for good governance. Violence breeds violence and will lead to political unrest and could put the Country in flames.

(ii) State of Emergency

We are now vindicated that this political violence is being perpetrated by the PF as a pretext to declare a state of emergency. Once this state of emergency is declared, opposition political leaders will either be detained without charge or even killed. Under a state of emergency, the government will even delay general elections in 2016 and cling on to power indefinitely.

(iii) Mr. Sata should order arrest of his militias

President Sata should personally condemn the attempts by PF cadres to eliminate other political leaders. In the Sun FM case, some of these militias were transported to Ndola from other towns on the Copperbelt such as Kitwe and Luanshya, in a well planned and deadly mission. It was a well planned assassination attempt. They were in motor vehicles which were identified and ring leaders that were known.

President Sata should order the arrest of these PF militias. From the behavior of the Police in Ndola, it is clear that they were scared to arrest the PF militia for fear of loosing their jobs. It is abundantly clear that the Police will only arrest these PF militias if President Sata orders them to do so.

(iv) Report to the Hague

We would like to warn President Sata that if he does not stop this violence, disband his militia and have the people that attempted to assassinate Hakainde Hichilema in Ndola arrested, we will have no option but to report him to the International Criminal Court at the Hague for prosecution for crimes against humanity.

(v)Resignation
The events that have beset our Country in the last two and half years demonstrate that President Sata is incompetent, lacks the necessary skills to lead our Country and should resign forthwith.

(vi)Appeal for calm

Even though we are targets and victims of this brutal and savage attacks from the PF militias and thugs, we call upon the nation and all our supporters and sympathisers not to return violence with violence. Lets us not take the law in our own hands but rather remain calm as we seek a sensible solution to the persistent and demonic aggression from President Sata and his PF.

As we seek leadership of this great country, we are clear in our minds that no one can lead their country to development in an environment of instability, violence and bloodshed which the PF is promoting. The PF should concentrate on reducing the high cost of living, creating genuine jobs and facilitating the delivery of a people’s driven constitution.

Thank you for your attention and may God bless our country.

  1. First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me–and there was no one left to speak for me.

    • Firstly, what happened in Ndola should be taken seriously by the government. We need a statement from the president.

Secondly, HH has raised valid points. I like the fact that he is not encouraging violence. That is how any wise leader should behave.

Thirdly, this instability in the country isn’t only affecting UPND. We are all affected as Zambians and the only person to blame would be the president.

Last but not least, acts of aggression and violence towards other parties will only be effected when the ruling party isn’t doing a good job in meeting people’s needs.

    • PF is dead scared of their own incompetence and they are looking for excuses why they are failing. Mr minister of finance and BoZ just look at how much green back you are offloading on the market, but the kwacha keeps sliding into troubled waters, yesterday closing at K6.21 after recovering within the same day fromK 6.80. T-Bill is being under subscribed each day sending the liquidity tighter and tighter each day. Governance is key in helping stabilize money markets. Soon you will have no green back to offload on the market and the kwacha will lose face altogether. Change now for the better, even when you do not believe in good governance principles and rule of Law and Order.

    • @HH Thank You man, that is the word I have serching for year “CAPRI CONE”. I though it was Kapuli-koni.
Ati Sata ia a Capri Cone… yayayayayyayaya

    • Firstly i do not condone violence from any one.

we can differ in our politics but we must not be antagonistic

UPND may have a grievance but most of what they have stated are glossily exaggerated and asking Sata to resign is the same as asking HH to bring back what he looted from the Zambian people… impossible!!

Self pity and emotional blackmail will not help get HH and his usual pedestrian arguments to plot one. crying is for under fives, none-entities, political and economic opportunists like HH and his moribund UPND

Reading this one would think the country is at war when in fact it all peaceful.

Just fight a political battle, Sata went through worse things than what is making you cry and still emerged victorious.

Drop your diapers and man up!!

    • @bbanda

You are buffoon for you can not tell who is really bitter between Sata and HH. Sata is bitter for selfish reasons because he knows that the people do not want him and his party any more.

If HH is bitter so am I because what he is bitter about is what the majority Zambians are complaining about.

How can I not be bitter if the cost of ubunga is sky rocking at unprecedented levels in the history of Zambia. Even during KK era ubunga never went up nearly every day like it is under Mad Sata.

To be honest with you 90% Zambians are bitter because the cost of living beyond their capacity. All the salary increament they got has been swallowed 10 times over by ever increasing cost of living.

shame on you who cant see the mess mad sata is creating in Zambia.

    • @Gen

The fact that your comment indicate that you are the fence clearly show that you are equally not happy with Sata’s actions but you cant condemn him out rightly because you feed of his left overs.

You are 110% Sata’s bootlicker. Without him you would no where and this is a fact.
But ask yourself for how long?

Imagine your self falling out with PF, what would your life be like under Sata?

I leave you with these two questions to ponder upon seriously and strategise for the future because right now you live in bubble .

HH has raised serious issues not to be ignored by serious minded Zambians. Otherwise we headed for a civil war and break up of Zambia.

    • @GEN,

I do not recall any time in our history when cadres, or vigilantes or whatever one my wish to call these party structures, carried guns. This is not to say they went to kill. It could have been just to scare and intimidate. However, my point is related to the fact that introducing guns to these structures is being heard of for the first time and is a dangerous activity and precedent. What Sata may have gone through does not justify the entire nation failing to advance in a better direction. I am sure Sata himself complained about the things he went through, so why should the same things, or worse actually since now we even have guns, continue today? There might be one or two exaggerations in HH’s statement, but arming of cadres with anything, let alone guns is very dangerous.

    • I THINK HH LISHILU. THERE IS NO WAY SATA CAN PLAN TO ASSASSINATE HH OR EVEN ANY OTHER SOUL IN ZAMBIA. ANY AVERAGE GOD-FEARING CHRISTIAN CAN’T DO THAT. AND SATA IS NOT EVEN AN AVERAGE CHRISTIAN. WHICH CHURCH DOES CHITOMBWA GO TO IF I MAY ASK? IT IS MOST LIKELY IF HE DOES NOT GO TO ANY HE IS LYING. I AM NOT SAYING ALL CHRISTIAN ARE LAW-ABIDING BUT THERE ARE CERTAIN PRINCIPLES RELIGIOUS ORGANISATIONS (CHRISTIANITY IN THIS CASE) INDUCE IN BELIEVERS. KILLING A PERSON IS ONE OF THE THINGS PRACTICING CHRISTIANS FEAR. SATA IS A PRACTICING CHRISTIAN- HOW CAN HE PLAN TO ASSASSINATE HH? THING IS HH WANTS TO PROVOKE IN ORDER TO DRIVE THE COUNTRY INTO ANARCHY TO HAVE SOMETHING TO BLAME FOR HIS POLITICAL FAILURES. ZAMBIANS SHOULD BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DESPERATELY BITTER AND POWER ANGRY HH. HE WILL SET

    • from #1.12…HE WILL SET THIS COUNTRY ON FIRE. HH KNOW PRETTY WELL THAT BEING TRIBALLY POPULAR IN CHOMA ONLY CANNOT WIN HIM EVEN AN EIGHTH OF THE REQUIRED MARGIN TO REPUBLICAN PRESIDENCY. SO, SHIELD HIS EMBARRASSMENT HE HAS STARTED THE TACTICS OF PROVOKING THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT AND THE POLICE FORCE. IN FACT WELL MEANING ZAMBIANS SHOULD REALISE THIS AND SIMPLY CONDEMN HIS BEHAVIOUR WITH THE CONTEMPT IT DESERVES. OTHERWISE HE IS MOST LIKELY TO INTENSIFY HIS DIRTY BEHAVIOUR. MIND YOU HE IS A LOSING CHAP AND HE WILL EVER BE. SO EVERY TIME HE TURNS IN BED HIS STOMACH HAS A MIXTURE OF HIS OWN SH!T AND UN DIGGESTED FOOD. THINKING OF HOW BUSY SATA AND HIS MINISTERS ARE BUILDING THE ROADS IN ZAMBIA MAKES HIM SOIL HIS PANTS AND WISH HEAS AMONGST THE TEAM. BE CAREFUL WITH HIM. He has failed pltcly

    • Could someone tell us the reality on the ground? Sounds like the prevailing situation in the country is over exaggerated in the statement from HH.

    • What is HH is saying is fearing the unknown. If voted into power what has he proposed to bring as changes.Bring all the cattle from Southern Province, reduce his tribalism tendencies, reduce on the price of mealie meal or what .In simpler terms hwat is his manifesto

  2. Nothing short of a million-man-march will move these fags and shags! But then its been a long-time coming…THE MEEK SHALL NEVER INHERIT THE EARTH, THEY SHALL REMAIN FOREVER THE WRETCHED OF THE EARTH, amen.

  3. See the pattern? When it was the gays, everyone was like, kill them! Jail them! Then it was the journalists. Then it was civil society leaders, then it was nurses. Now it is civil society leaders. And very soon, it will be everyone.

  4. This president of UPND always wants sympathy from people. As a leader or aspiring you need to go through those hardships. It is not easy bwana

    • @global, this is a very stupid statement. no normal person can spew such rubbish. attempts on some one’s life is not a hardship you 1diot. you still believe in colonial kind of politics, nonsense

    • #Global YOU SHOULD KILL YOUR SELF RIGHT AFTER READING THIS.. BUT JUDGING BY THE COMMENTS YOU HAVE MADE I DOUBT IF YOU CAN DO IT, BECAUSE YOUR IQ IS ZERO!!!

  5. HH should really manage his anger and bitterness. He cannot wish himself into State House and that fact really gives him a feeling of impotence. Looking at the role out of developmental projects going throughout the country, its understandable why he feels frustrated. No matter what propaganda you use, you are never going to President of Zambia and that’s a fact HH will just have to live with. For the next 25 years the PF will still be in power. He has tried all the tricks of painting the PF black even deluding himself to be more popular but alas everyday we the people are seeing the efforts being made to move our country forward. Viva Sata, viva PF for the next 25 years. My advise to UPND MPs is to leave that deranged bitter UPND leader and join the people’s party of choice in 2016 – PF

    • Bbanda, being a hired gun does not help anyone. Recall that this is only little favour to you as an individual while the rest of the people remain in poverty and looking for pamelas to same themselves from starvation. Be man enough and work for genuine income, no money and a lab top from Chella

  6. HH is just a scared underweight politician. He is a crying baby politician. Our freedom fighters went through terrible dangers and if they were like HH Zambia would today remain colonized. HH gets scared even by the flies. This guy always exaggerates issues to gain public sympathy. No one wanted to kill him in Ndola. Umwenso HH ukakwipaya.

    • Iwe, are we under colonial rule to be quoting what freedom fighters went through? Those were the sixties. We progress as time goes on not going backwards the way your your chi sata and his useless dunderheads are doing! Ulimbwa iwe kolwe??

    • So you do agree that this government (SATA) is violent but that we should let it be because “Our freedom fighters went through terrible dangers”. The very reason they went through the freedom struggle was so we should not have to be subjected to unfair treatment. They problem is you and others like you are blinded by allegiance and think that ‘my party is right, no matter what wrongs they commit’. This is very similar to what occurs in George Orwell’s allegorical novella ‘Animal Farm; two legs better right?’.

  7. Thank you Mr President. My advise to you and you staff is please please be very ,very careful and don’t take things for granted. Please minimize your moments and know who is close to you. The next thing PF will do is to buy your own security to destroy you. Thank God you are under his Care and God is the only one who can allow such a thing to happen. 2016 is just by the corner and thank God that you are the only chosen Leader to lead Zambia to freedom.

  8. HH – you are entiltled to be president of Zambia just like anybody else and really this shouldnt be at any expense. Stating an ‘assisination attempt’ on you is just attention seeking. The acting video you posted on the net showed you with hands in your pocket, something a person in danger of their life wouldnt do. Please refrain from tarnishing and reporting a country you would still want to rule to UN, Hague commonwealth just to politick. Zambia is not about you and Sata but Zambians and therefore curb personal attacks and get on with convincing us on what you would do differently and why you can be a better president. Sata may have thrived on personal attacks and it may have worked with him but it does not mean the same stategy may work with you. Also avoid being in the media…

  9. The current happenings in the country are very unfair especially that we are in a democratic system where the rights of each and evry citizen should be protected! Pliz Mr . Sata work for us and not against us becouse we are the reason as to why u ar in statehouse

  10. What we are witnessing as a country is good because without what we are experiencing the current leadership and the people who voted them into power were going to be vindicated as having made a good choice. In as much as the writing is clear on the wall that this is a failed leadership, majority of the citizenry still has hope in it (current leadership) and this being the case, worse things are bound to happen for one reason, to convince us all that we were wrong as a people to put so much trust in a mere mortal. The good news on the other hand is that, Zambia shall be saved but at a cost. Long live the republic.

  11. Crap coming from this attention seeker with an ego the size of a football.May he continue with his state house pipe dreams and fantasy. Now I see why Nevers Mumba said HH will never rule Zambia. How l hate alarmists.

    • OK Alf eff the eff off – which planet did u come from? Eat the FAT CATS and do us a favour…ife tili nanjala. Or are the fat cats perhaps, just maybe, YOUR FRIENDS AND MENTORS? What a bone-head, creish!!

    • Are a normal being? One day it will be you and.your father or mother or relative being brutalized.

Analyse then you can talk and not for the sake. Know your leaders. One day you will be very disappointed. Never support a politician or a party but their policies.

Your words will judge you one day. Tell your so called leaders that no one wins a war, all are losers!!!

    • This man is just preying on your minds. He wants your sympathy and compassion he knows he will get it once he romanticizes his pseudo-attacks from PF.Attention seeking is his strongest attribute.Anyway am out of here I have my Easter vacation to enjoy. Will be back on the blog on tuesdsy.Bless you all.

    • U a the sort of Frankensteins who warned people about suffocating on trains faster than 20 mph, believing the Ripper couldn’t be a blue-blood though Sherlock Holmes was SURE only such could move so FREELY at lonely hours AND would never be stopped by the cops of those days…Alf your planet must be somewhere in the Zombie-zone, earth is unfortunately for you smack middle-of-the-bear-zone in OUR galaxy, p-off !!

    • There is less money in our pockets and less food on the table and yet you f.o.o.ls keep on telling us that things are getting better.

    • Iwe ka Saulosi, so what you are saying is that EVERYONE ELSE complaining and who actually live here are just imagining things??? Are we imagining the high cost of living you deluded little fcuk?? As i said before on another thread, i really think such issues should only be commented on by people who actually leave here not you tuma pseudo foreign fcukers! I was in town when your fellow sh!ts went crazy with their weapons so fcuk you! Go back to banging your ka white girl friend and leave us to deal with that useless relic masquerading as president in 2016! D1ckhead!

  12. @Soulos,i cant agree with you more,i wonder what kind of leadership this hh would show if Zambia was attacked by another country, cry, cry ,cry like a little child is all he knows.Maybe his wife doesn’t give him the attention he is always seeking from Zambians…..who is she anyways?

    • Yet another defunct bone-head, even UBZ survived longer than you cabs, for pissing-out loud creep back under the stone you crept from cretinous creature ! struth !!

  13. I have a dilemma. whilst I am unhappy about Sata’s misrule which I always knew we would endure once this bafoon was elected into office, I am at the same time glad Zambians have had the chance to see what kind of evil being they put into office. If he had lost the last election most Zambians would always be talking about how great a leader Sata would have made. In fact if this moron did not win the last election, Zambia would have most likely gone up in flames. So now we have this dictator, how shall we remove him? Clearly, he will not allow an election in 2016. In fact a lot of people will lose their lives as Sata tenaciously hangs on to power knowing fully well that prison awaits him once out of office. We shall be brutalized, maimed and killed between now and 2016. What shall we do?

    • Zambians love to be misinformed or are just plain stupid.
A guy comes along and with a bit of money, dubiously obtained or otherwise, then he is presidential material. He spouts, crap and none the wiser. A handful of bloggers here believe he is the next president and better then the present incumbent. Have you asked the 80% potential Zambian voters.

    • True that. I actually told a friend that it was necessary so that Zambians knew coz there would have still been noise. Sata is a necessary evil to enable people to make better decisions when it matters next. The only bad part is the amount of damage these guys will put this country through by the time 2016 reaches elo considering now that PF cadres have graduated to militias, this might prove to be a devastating experiment in the end. Oh, as for you Nagasaki, ati naba fika ba Jerabo ku bondi and they say if you let them simultaneously do you up the butt, kwalaba naka bonus on top of the usual fee. Right now your wife is entertaining them. Fast fast boyi, nimuli ba sata muno, impiya tashilolela umuntu.

    • You are spot on. This Baboon idolises Mugabe, PF name was imported from ZANU PF and Zambia is going to be turned into Zimbabwe, mark my words. This is going to be a serious wake up call for we Zambians.

  14. With hard core criminals who were dubiously pardoned by the president and incorporated into the PF militia, what should we expect? The journey towards 2016 will be very rough such that CSOs, Church, Opposition political parties and others are to brace themselves for dangerous times ahead. It will be very difficult even to make Sata give up power and that is why he has built his private militia who have nothing to loose in life to fight for him. One can’t even think of fighting fire with fire because those are not normal cadres who are just after food on the table but dangerous criminals who owe all to Sata for miraculously pardoning them. The only way Sata may listen is to involve the international community who can apply some sunctions. Otherwise, sata will rule till death, be it 2050.

    • Never said they were yours nagasaki buddy boy. Don’t worry yourself about my demons and frustrations, they are going away in 2016 when your ka idol sata’s withered butt is kicked out of state house. Comprende?

  15. Nobody will be elected to be President by delivering a constitution. The statement by this honourable gentleman is a bit shallow. He calls sata a dictator, a bully and all sorts of names, then he pleads to him that he should arrest the militias and then calls for him to resign. Confusion at its best! In african politics politicians do not resign. Never! Either you are sacked, defeated at the polls or die. Resign? President resigning in Africa, where bwana HH?

  16. Inter-Continental hotel, what was wrong with H-H using your hotel for his address, I find nothing wrong with the statement. If anything most of the Zambians hold the same views as HH.
What he has outlined is what is being discussed in Churches, on the buses, in clubs, and almost every where.
Inter-Continental hotels you are public enemy number one, sell outs, Zambia is a democracy and thanks to KK for allowing multi-party politics.
VIVA HH , VIVA Mpombo, VIVA Chipimo, VIVA Mulongoti, VIVA Kaingu, VIVA Zambians!

  17. hakaichilema, you are just a coward. If you want to go to plot 1, you need to have balls. A gunshot in the air and you start hallucinating. I wish they had caught your backside, just to teach you a lesson.

    • @ PF Leader you had me in stitches. Though I do not condone
      violence.
HH is just not a politician and does not have the balls for it. The term under 5 is pretty apt.

    • Are sure HH is a coward? HH deserves to wear military uniform not Sata because he underwent military training in KK era. But Sata is just a loud mouth coward who cant even fight a fly.

  18. Sorry for finding yourself in such a mess concocted by Sata and his foot soldiers. I am affected insofar as to inform other fellow tribal mates how frustrating and dehumanising the barbaric unprovoked attack on HH is. Notwithstanding, this recent abortive move arranged by the PF leadership has further strengthened the UNPD, especially us highly educated tribal mates of brother HH. Looking at the prevailing economic climate, it can be deduced that the Bemba led PF government has entirely fallen short of fulfilling its prior pledges it made to the masses during 2011 election campaigns. I am not a politician and I do not intend to join any political party other than the Tonga led UNPD. Viva, my people, UNPD. Viva HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

  19. Well Said HH!

You are a WISE man for not advocating for violence.

Once more the ***** in State House is not normal. HH has the right to exercise his freedom of association and assembly. Sata nima too vee of a president!

This i.diot is taking Zambia to the periphery of chaos. HH has the right to organise and to assemble with the aim of addressing issues of common and national concern. It is his human right; it does not come from the republican ***** in State House.

This is the problem of choosing an i.diot to become a president; he has no clue that the right to freedom of association and assembly is protected in international and regional human rights treaties. These rights are applicable to political party issues.

Zambia will only be peaceful when the State House i.diot…

  20. It is most worrying that the Church, LAZ, Civil Society, political parties and the general citizenry are not coming together to fight this most evil Sata-n. During the 3rd term debate, these groups came together under the Oasis forum to fight Chiluba. This time around when we are faced with the greatest evil Zambia has ever encountered, these groups are totally dysfunctional. The so called prophetic voice of the once vocal Catholic church is silent. Even when a whole Bishop (Catholic mind you) is threatened with violence by a president, not even a whimper is heard from the ZEC. How will they speak for others if they cannot speak for their own? Is this what tribalism does, totally killing the conscience? How sad. Even LAZ we hear has been bought through the last election. What shall we do?

    • @Deep Thinker As you describe yourself, surely our discerning citizenry would have taken to the streets if there was anything remotely close to what HH has described. Lest we forget, didnt a grouping of opposition politicians including HH and the so called civil society call upon the commonwealth to come in and investigate human rights abuses? What came of it? Your guess is as good as mine. Nothing!!!!! I mean nothing was found.

    • We are all waiting for 2016 ba nagasaki. Thats how we do it here in case u never knew. Ask KK na Rupiah. Thats why chaps like u and your president think you are still popular just coz no one is running in the streets protesting. Tuli ma vulture mwaiche wandi. Patience always pays off. In the meantime, we know this is sh!t we have to go through and it’s lessons learnt for most that ushered these morons into power.

  21. HH,the light of zambia and the gateway to the much needed restoration of people’s faith in their govt.Keep up the fight bwana HH.

  22. Elizabeth Chitika said Chiluba said it in 2001 that i can’t give the Presidency to Sata; “teti asunge abantu, kuntu abapatanya” and here we are.

I am very upset that innocent citizens are being harassed just for belonging to a different party. Chili ndwii mu state house and very primitive as usual. wake up and start leading, iwe chi Sata. Say something about the violence. Also there is a provision for resigning in your contract in case you are not aware.

    • Imwee naimwe ba Eliza finshi mulelanda??? What did Chiluba do for this nation who you should even bring at such a fora? Just keep your mouth shut ngatamukwete ifyakulanada!!

  23. This speech is shallow and hollow. Talk issues not insults. Avoid inflammatory language. Restrain excitement and violence among your tribal cadres like Shafukaswa. Create a national outlook in your central committee and shadow cabinet. Show us how you will rule Zambia more responsibly. Then we shall believe and vote you in. Otherwise democracy will swallow you. Aleya Aleya

  24. Provincial Chairman stard mwele announced openly that he is the one who sent thugs to attack HH . Warning when you stay in glass house don’t throw stones . We know where this stupid man stays . After raw he will loose a lot . Should civil strive start you shall regret. You want to show sata that you are an actor when PF is loosing in 2016. The more you attack HH the the more you campaign for him tukamimwesha na Libongani wenu

  25. Any misinformation will backfire. It is statesmanship to stick to the fundamentals in all circumstances. It is tempting to amplify, exaggerate and hype but that approach never worked.

    • @Yamba

Ifwe ngatwalanda ati tukalamiponona ba PF kwilishana ati UNPD will start arming its cadres.

Mwanya HH is a calm man otherwise if he authorises that kuti twamiponona ububi sana. Plus tulibengi ukumichila bakoswe mwe.

Mwanya one Mapatizya formula will apply for real because you been asking for it for too long now.

If you remember UNIP vigilante, twaliponona when the time came. They all disappeared and burnt their stupid uniforms. The same is awaiting you ba PF in 2016

  26. I do not condone and have respect for elderly but the name of Sata brings in disliking and uneasiness. Better he vanishes from horizon and goes in exile along with his kaput children, wives and thieving ministers, otherwise I see them locked up and surcharged atmosphere for months, if not year.

  27. The incumbent president is one hell of a leader!!! A terrible one!!! The UPND president is a sadist dreamer. A good example of a hypocritical fella!! Terrible people we support with no shame!!!

  28. @ Yamba
You are very stupid Kolwe. That skelem in state house will soon die, and the sooner the better. That is the problem with people without testes.

  29. Can PF cadres sing for me their usual song entitled “Dont Kubeba wilalila ashhh”. Can you sing it once more on Radio 1 or 2?

  30. Lets just praise HH people for such a SPEECH and tht how it should. Africa shud be civilised as Europe thts our cry.
All we shud work to MODERNISE AFRICA. The reason other races laugh at us becoz of animal behavior Sorry to use tht term.
    Viva Zambia.

  31. HH walasa! The incoming presido who will take care of all zambians, not these tribal panga fighters. Will keep praying that no one harms you.

  32. HH SEND THIS REPORT TO INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY RIGHT AWAY.

EVERY BODY IS NOT HAPPY THE WAY PF IS MANAGING THE POLITICAL AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS OF THIS BELOVED COUNTRY ZAMBIA. HENCE, THE INCOMING PRESIDENT HH REPORT THIS INCIDENT TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY. AND WHERE IS THE BRITISH AND AMERICAN EMBASSIES. IN RB GOVERNMENT THESE TWO EMBASSIES WERE VERY GOOD IN CONDEMNING RB. BUT WHAT HAS CHANGED? THAT THEY ARE NOT CONDEMNIN MICHEAL SATA CHILUFYA WHOM THEY HELP TO ASCEND TO THE PRESIDENCY. VIVA HH. VIVA UPND, VIVA ZAMBIAN PEOPLE. PLEASE LET US BE UNITED. PF IS TURNING ANOTHER RWANDA IN MAKING. THE POLICE IS NOW PART OF PF WING/BRANCH.

  33. HH, you have a rare gift bo ndante of being calm and mature. You are able to keep your cool in all kinds of situations. This is an essential constituent of being a good leader.

I saw the video when they wanted to assassinate you those masipa ya batu. Your calm helps you in taking the right decisions. A good leader thinks calmly in all circumstances and thinks in the direction of the planned accomplishment of the goals set.

I admire you bo HH. You are such a vibrant inspiration bo ndate. Your decision-making capacity makes you stand out from the crowd. And this is what makes you a good leader!

    Bravo bo HH!

    • Lolest!!! Hey, are you sure HH is a kind who keeps his calm? Damn!!!! There is a thin line between HH and Sata in that department!!!

  34. The Lord works in mysterious way.
Mr Sata has indorsed HH as the next republican president.
Zambians are now craving to hear HH present a good governance manifesto fitting modern day democracy. Mr Sata’s jittery with HH decampaigns PF and prompts up HH and UPND and time is approaching soon when HH will freely address Zambians as a proud and free man.

  35. Could anybody please tell me about the projects (roads/any other infrastructure) data has done so far and in the same verne, what future plans BY May have for this country better than the current president. These are cardinal issues for discussion.

  36. HH and UPND need to differentiate themselves from this type of politics; politics of disrespect, insults, finger-pointing and the rot. PF is very well versed and well ahead in this type of trash. Show good leadership and desist from this path of confrontation.

Rethink your strategy. Surely, you are better than this!

    • HH has no ideas except that he is a suitable president for Zambia. The rest (such as the requirement of getting elected) does not compute for him

  37. If anyone had been hurt by these “vicious terrorists” who were “intending to kill”, no doubt HH would have listed their names. Why has he not stated the names of the “killed and injured”, and number and nature of the “injuries”? Is he perhaps a man with no ideas and no future who is lying through his teeth?

  38. HH…STOP ! all this nonse.n.s.e , what we want is ideas about how this country will go forward. You will lose the plot if all you doing is talk about PF.

buti abaTonga fye ! Bwafya kwena

  39. It boggles the mind how some ‘sane’ bloggers are unable to appreciate the well articulated points by HH. They are at the basis of what needs to be done for Zambia to be accepted into the realm of political and economic civilisation. Other than that, at the current exhibition of PF political immaturity and despicable violence, we are heading for proper rule by State violence. Shouldn’t Sata address an open press conference and respond to these issues? Does he listen to advise? Like they say, ‘a fly that has no one to advise it, follows the corpse into the grave’.

  40. Please ba LT change that picture, my son looks as though coming from hearding cattle and now realises one is missing. Picture portray someone not Presidential material!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  41. Guys…Biblically, God will always give humanity a leader they deserve. We deserve Sata and PF whether we mourn about it or not. If it is in God’s heart that HH will lead Zambia-let’s wait and see -2016. I advise, we begin to look at Sata and PF from a positive side—-HH’s address, amounts to DAY-DREAMINIG. He is and never will be a prophet for us Zambians. PERIOD!! Romans 13:1-5
