Zambia have scampered to quickly confirm their participation in this years Cosafa Cup.
The Football Association of Zambia’s confirmation came barely 24 hours after seven teams that included South Africa and 2013 losing finalists Zimbabwe confirmed their participation in September’s tournament in Botswana.
Cosafa on Wednesday confirmed that Zambia and Mozambique have brought the number to nine out of 15 the teams that have beat the April 25 deadline for tournament entries.
Zambia are the defending champions after beating Zimbabwe 2-0 in last years final they hosted in July at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
