High Court Judge Gertrude Chawatama has granted former Transport and Communication Minister William Harrington the application to commence judicial review proceedings against former Tourism and Arts Minister Sylvia Masebo.

This follows Mr Harrington’s dissatisfaction with the findings of the Judge Roydah Kaoma tribunal which established that Ms Masebo did not gain any pecuniary advantage when she dismissed senior Zambia Wild Life Authority officials over the tender for hunting concessions.

Meanwhile Judge Chawatama has recused herself from handling the matter in which Mr Harrington is seeking judicial review on the tribunal findings.

Judge Chawatama has since advised that the file will be reallocated to another Judge to avoid the perception of bias as she sat on the Wynter Kabimba tribunal.

She says dates for the hearing of the main matter will be communicated to both parties.

And Mr. Harrington has welcomed the decision by Judge Chawatama to grant his application for judicial review, describing it as professional.

  1. Yeni bondate bo Harry, show those who did not enter the classroom such as cycle mata and Winter Kabwamba asweta that there is no substitute for the classroom. Sylvia murambiwa sperm bank is in trouble

  2. Well done judge we have to take this masebo to the wire these bitches think they are above the law, this is what happens went you have slept with other women’s husband’s time gets up to you winter Kabimba’s wife must be having fun.

  3. This is what happens when you are fighting wars, which do not concern you, with borrowed resources! Arlington personal vendetta for Masebo will bankrupt him. A few months ago, he was complaining about the debt he has accrued due to Masebo but he achieved his objective because she got fired, what more does he want form her? Zambian jails are congested with remands because of people like Arlington who are abusing the courts by disrupting court calenders with special favors from certain judges while people are languishing in jails waiting for their day in court!
