Patrice- My salary comes late

Share

Chipolopolo coach Patrice Beaumelle has revealed that some times he feels frustrated because his salary comes late.

And Beaumelle said he has been receiving offers from other teams as he waits for FAZ to give him a permanent deal.

The French coach has been acting as Zambia head coach since October 2013 when his ex-boss Herve Renard left the job to join French side FC Sochaux.

He wants to be offered a permanent deal by FAZ.

“I get to feel frustrated because the salary comes late but I love my job and enjoy working with players,” Beaumelle was quoted by Times of Zambia on Friday.

“I would like to stay here as long as I fee appreciated and respected,” he added.

“I have received good proposals to go elsewhere but I am still here and that shows how much I love and treasure Zambia.”

Beaumelle is set to guide Zambia in the 2015 Africa Cup qualifiers coming later in the year.

  1. Nice way to negotiate for employment Patrice; nice way indeed. Just go to the press and pretend to be receiving better offers. Smooth, Patrice, smooth.

    • It is called bargaining. That aside it is not fair to pay an employee late. I am yet to see an employer who pays his employee before work is done. Why is it, then that an employee is expected to render services and still have the agony of waiting for his dues?

    • Most of the time it is principle, not an offer. I have been in a situation like that, and when I walked away my employer even snickered thinking I was done. Now they call me endlessly trying to get me back!! Be careful how you treat your prized possessions. They only make sense when they are gone.

    • Good coaches are hard to come by, Patrice now understands the work ethics of Zambian players & his employers and the cameleon type of a Zambian soccer fan. Considering his youthful age, that we have celebrated and shed tires with him, that he is not so experienced but that he has shown dedication to Zambian soccer, that our players appreciate him for his good nature, we should help him to continue growing here finally we will benefit a lot from his services while himself will carry an avalanche of experience: win-win at the end of the day.

  2. Like I stated Sochaux was relegated and the PE tutor is unemployed and now we have another one here in the name of Patrice the PE assistant.
Zambia is not going anywhere! !
    Wake up! !

  3. How is he getting offers already. He hasn`t taken our team for PE yet. He should know by now that ba Council ba fola pa 45.

    • So you will use NGOs to rally in the streets instead of directing this concern to the people you cast a vote for, huh? Zed is just a topsy-turvy destination.

  4. Ati “I have received good proposals to go elsewhere but I am still here and that shows how much I love and treasure Zambia.” He is a liar don’t let the chap arm-twist you ba FAZ let him go for the good proposals he has received.Honestly we need a new coach for Chipolopolo

  5. Why pay him? We are not seeing any football being played. With Chipolopolo reduced to Chipantepante, you may do well to just leave and join other progressive teams! Good luck.

  6. as far as am concerned,i ain’t seein no results!I personaly leave a job to were i’ll be paid better.Besides z ed has some good coaches though we don’t see that.
