Nkana honour Mwale with win

Nkana honoured their late coach Masauso mwale in style in saturday when the routed Green Buffaloes 5-1 at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

A Bruce Musakanya brace set Nkana alight on Saturday to see the defending league champions remain unbeaten from seven league games played with four matches in hand.

Musakanya put Nkana ahead in the 3rd minute but Buffaloes defender Sandia Zulu equalised in the 23rd minute.

Simon Bwalya saw Nkana take a 2-1 lead into the break before Evans Kangwa added goal number three in the 48th minute.

Musakanya completed his brace in the 50th minute before defender cChristopher Munthali completed the rout in the 60th minute.

Meanwhile, Zanaco stay top of the table after a 3-2 home win over struggling Nchanga Rangers.

Davy Daka scored a brace while Mathews Macha added zanaco;’s third after the break.

Nchanga gave Zanaco a scare when Bornwell Mwape struck twice in the 47th and 82nd minute but the hosts held on to remain firmly at the top and unbeaten since the start of the season.
