Tunisian coach claims Nkana talks

Unknown Tunisian coach Al Sahraway El Gedidy claims he is in talks with Nkana to take over the team as head coach.

SuperSport reports that Nkana have started negotiations with El Gedidy.

Last week, Nkana promoted Zeddy Saileti as interim coach following the death of head coach Masauso Mwale who in a car accident on May 23.

“The Nkana chairman talked to me and offered me the job to take charge of the team. I told him my terms and if he accepts them we will sign the contracts.” El Gedidy told Tunisian Radio.

El Gedidy was born in 1966 and moved to England in 1986 where he studied and played his football.

A search for his credentials have yielded a brickwall.

Meanwhile, Nkana are currently in Tunisia for Saturday’s 2014 CAF Confederation Cup Group B match against Etoile du Sahel.

  4. The Tunisian COACH is right , NKANA talks too much without action, they depend on past Glory ATI 12 TIME Champions WITHOUT Substance, hammer them in Tunisia and put them where they belong , LOSERS

  5. @A search for his credentials have yielded a brickwall! hmm but why. I was thinking it could be good for Nkana to tap into the North African football, since they always have difficulties with these teams- better to give it a try.
