A group of youths from the Patriotic Front in Lusaka have reignited their protests against PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba.

The youths led by Town Centre branch Chairman Julius Komaki held a news conference in Lusaka demanding that Mr Kabimba resigns from the PF.

Mr Komaki who spoke on behalf of the youths claimed that Mr Kabimba has failed to organise the party and should resign.

He accused Mr Kabimba as Justice Minister of having misled President Sata to make a court appearance in the defamation case against the Daily Nation.

“As Justice Minister, Kabimba misled our President and almost embarrassed the Head of State at the court. Kuti watwala Kateka ku court iwe (How can you take a sitting President to court)?”

He continued, “We want Kabimba to go because of failure to organise the party at grassroots level, failte to hold party elections and strengthen party structures throughout the country and misleading the party over the constitution making process.”

Mr Komaki charged that Mr Kabimba has been misleading the party and the nation on the constitution making process.

“Kabimba has been deliberately withholding information on the constitution and failing to subject a draft constitution to cabinet for discussions and further action.”
He also accused Mr Kabimba of illegally launching his presidential campaigns.

“We want him to go because he has abused his office by starting campaigns for the Presidency without authority of the Central Committee and h has brought the name of the party and the President into disrepute by exposing the President to judicial proceedings.”

The youths have vowed to continue pushing for Mr Kabimba’s removal and will soon present a petition to State House requesting that President Sata acts on their grievances.
The youths early this year launched anti-Kabimba street protests aimed at forcing the Justice Minister to step down but he refused.

  1. STOP this nonsense, The SG is a well educated and family man , he is the youngest justice minister zambia ever had at 47yrs old, a future presidential material , please the youths dont be misled by illiterates to cause anarchy we cry of young leadership and we have it in WK why the hate actions!!!

    • WHEN A FATHER AT THE POINT OF DEATH EVEN A USELESS CHILD IN THE FAMILY WILL START MAKING NOISE CLAIMING TO BE CLEVER KNOWING THAT THE HEAD IS HALF DEAD

    • Please enforce a child rule until all these useless young men roaming the streets being nuisances and menaces have an occupation.

    • We are yet to see if this PF group has the balls to discipline their loose canon of an SG. In his telecon with MUVITV Kabimba says he has no time to waste on these protesters because he has “work to do”. So why don’t they kick him out of the PF office where he does this “work” from?

    • If you guys really want to deal with Kabimba, please bring back that man from Egypt – uncle ALI SIMWINGA. THIS MAN WILL FLATTEN Kabimba in LESS THAN AN HOUR!!!!!
      Balya bena bakali…

    • PF a boat on stable waters, but the occupants are so unruly and making the boat rock to a point of sinking.

    • If only Summer handled what his cadres are complaining about, especially the constitution without any squabbles; perhaps the Pathetic Failures (PF) would have remained with some support.

These cadres are coming out like this because they know the anti-PF wind that’s slowly brewing on the ground. Summer has no touch with this level of society but these cadres do. So, whatever they are saying is out of a well informed perspective. Summer should give ear to their complaints.

HH please, let’s hear more of you! Especially on copperbelt man.

    • There is circus going on in Zambia. Bakolwe basekana ifipato. It was PF in conflicts and PF teased by advising MMD to put its house in order. PF has never seen its own unsolved internal problem. If PF was an opposition by now they Registrar of society could have de-registered it sometime back.
Work up Kabimba and don’t sleep or else they will drug you to heaven before your time. Wanyanya mwandi. What goes up must come down.

    • @IDAH…KABIMBA GOING HEAVEN???DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT???…..UNLESS HE REPENTS FOR GOD DOSE NOT DELIGHT MUBWANGA.

    • Being misled starting from the headline PROTESTS RESTARTS bushe ba Editor baku LT batuntulu nangu mungulu?

    • @CHANKALIPA, you’re not the only one ala ifwe nomba tuloleshafye. The quality of journalism in Zambia has gone to the dogs. I even wonder whether a good Grade 12 English grade is a prerequisite for admission into a journalism course. We have journalists who can’t distinguish between singular and plural or past and present, ala chansoni sana….

    • What family man. Kabimba has a chain of concubines and fathered a lot of children outside wedlock.

Kabimba once eloped with Sylvia Masebo when he ran away from his matrimonial bed. one of his concubinmes, the father was sent as reward to Ethiopia for granting Kabimba noctunal summersaults on his daughter.

  2. Its disappointing that to date,we as a party, have not settled down to actually do what we were voted into office for.It has been either intra party fights or some other irrelevant issues.I am a PF supporter but i must state that so far,i am not impressed,we can do better guys, its never too late.

    • GBM and his cadres from Kasama, that we have passed that time of inner fighting in the PF. Fat Albert is trying to get back on the headlines, but only fools can go ahead and support a cheap politician like him, that’s why he getting invites from MMD and other none political players. Winter is not going anywhere, the man told you that he has work to do, let him do it. If GBM is a factor then let quit PF and stand as a independent candidate. Fools like Komaki are the people who think that development in Kasama came from GBM’s pocket and not national coffers, what a shame.

    • Town Center & Bus Terminal is for GBM bwana, this time Kabimba anyanta pa minyau by allowing GBM get arrested & face the law.
But ukwatala Kateka ku court was waste sin Kabimba has committed.

  3. The expulsion of Wynter is more ripe now than ever before. This unelectable bastard will plunge PF into oblivion and cause havoc in the country. Go youths and prove this i,d,iot wrong. He has nor added any value to the party and is working behind the president with the evil cartel.

    • KABIMBA USED TO BE LOYAL TO HEMCS BEFORE MUBEMBE AND NCHITO CAME INTO THE AFFAIRS OF PF.HIS MIND IS POLUTED BY THESE ENEMIES OF THE ZAMBIAN PIPO MAKING HIM BELIEVE THAT HE CAN BE A PRESIDENT.THE EARIER HE LEAVES PF THE BETTER…….

  4. some cadres are useless why blame Kabimba on presidents appearance in court.
Ignorance yalipitilila beyond rendemption. The A G advises Govt cadres are advised by people who buy them chibuku. Wynter is a realist that why some of you do not understand him. Ba komoki ikaleni fwe mafi yenu.

  5. Interesting if the media was right on the planners of the challenges that rocked MMD could this now be a result of reaping what was sown, if what the media reported was true.

  6. This demo has been organised by Mulenga Sata no doubt and the president knows about it. Once Kabimba is out, Mulenga will be appointed Justice Minister. And if evacuated the big man will leave power in Mulenga. Watch this space!

    • Kaluba, what do you mean it is not possible. Do you think the defence minister is a soldier? or do you think the tourism minister has studied tourism? So it is possible for Mulenga to be justice minister.

    • UBUTUTU! There are certain technical ministries like Justice & Finance + Economic planning where you cannot just pick any Jim & Jack! Stop hallucinating!
Anyone with foresight can see that this is GBM’s shadow boxing with Winter. In the end it will simply not work. Winter just ignore these sun-burnt Town centre mongooses!

  7. Welcome on board flight Zm ,1964 ,our captain and crew have joined the crusade to a reasoning flight destination, expected arrival time 24,October,2014.we might arrive earlier than expected.

  8. KABIMBA WAS BEHIND THE TROUBLE THAT NEVERS WENT THROUGH AS REVEALED BY MUHABI. YOU CANNOT TOUCH GOD’S ANOINTED AND GET AWAY WITH IT.

THE TRAP THAT YOU SET FOR NEVERS WHICH HE HAS COME OUT OF, YOU HAVE NOW FALLEN IN. THE SAD PART FOR YOU SG, THERE IS NOONE PRAYING FOR YOU WHEREAS THE ENTIRE CHRISTIAN KINGDOM IN ZAMBIA ROSE UP TO PETITION THE THRONE OF GOD ON HIS BEHALF.

NEVERS TAMWAMUKWANISHE. ASK GOD TO FORGIVE YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID.

  9. kabimba ‘RED LIPS” is a thorn in many people ‘s lives..Am happy PF have realised that. He is the cause of PF’S DWINDLING POPULARITY… pardon GBM, PARDON LUBINDA if you want to revive PF or else ALEISA ALEISA SOON

  10. Wynter Kabimba is a divisive figure and he attracts controversy like a lightning rod attracting death.

  11. It will be a blow to the opposition if Wynter Kabimba is sidelined. PF stand a better chance of losing the 2016 elections if Kabimba is adopted to stand on the ruling party’s ticket. We call upon all well-meaning opposition sympathisers to condemn this attempt to hound Kabimba out of PF. Even in this instance, the phrase “the devil you know is better than the angel you don’t know” still applies albeit in negative sense. We know Kabimba’s weaknesses, and the opposition can capitalise on them. The other advantage is that keeping Kabimba in PF will unify the party which can be a big big blow to the opposition. LET KABIMBA STAY!!!!

    • Last part should read: The other advantage is that as long as Kabimba remains SG, PF will remain divided because of his divisive nature. As opposition, the last thing you want is a strong and united ruling party.

    • Chosen One
My thoughts exactly.PF should this loud mouthed fool and hopefully adopt him to stand as presidential candidate in 2016.The opposityion stands a better chance of winning if Wynter continues at the helm.

    • Kabimba can do literally anything under the sun to win if he is given the opportunity. He is crooked and has the support of equally crooked people. It is not just about replacing PF, if the person taking over from Sata happens to be a good visionary candidate and takes the country forward then fine and good, all Zambians want progress. Kabimba must be stopped now otherwise he will plunge the whole country into chaos, actually, Kabimba can make the nation disappear into oblivion like MH370 aircraft has.

  12. “and almost embarrassed the Head of State at the court. Kuti watwala Kateka ku court iwe ?”

Ba kateka ba Charles Mwango does the job of embarrassing himself better than anybody. Actually his lifestyle is a total embarrassment, how else do you explain other heads of state won’t come to Zambia? The president called a lawyer one ugly unprintable swear word in court. Your president is a genuine kabova, no doubt about that.

  13. The infighting continues; we are now forced to focus our attention to this so that we don’t see how bad things are.

    #Bufi

  14. Well, well, well, here wego again with anti-tonga xenophobia. Winter, being a Sala, of the Tonga dialect, is clearly a non favorite among the shameless Bemba tribalists. Winter maybes bad person but it’s clear this moves to hound him out are fueled by tribalism. Pf is for bembas!

  15. That’s what makes them Pa Fikansa, Pa Fyakuicena, Pa Fumbi, Pa Fandango, Paku Fulwa, Pali Fwenya nkufwenye,or Put on Fire (PF). This party thrives on malignity. Should the day come when that comes to an end PF as a party will grind to a halt.

  17. Wynter, a very unpopular, sarcastic & arrogant “leader”. With such attributes, why vie for public office? It explains why he’s NEVER WON any election in his life.
This infighting in PF & MMD is healthy because it’s from such self cleansing that the country may eventually produce a strong leader that will lead us in 2016!!! Bikapo chimwela!!!!!

    • @ gumu gumu

Kabimba has never won an election in his home town precisely because his home town have hated him for working Sata a Bemba. Some of you want to use very excuse to practice your tribalistic tendencies. It will be very difficult for other provinces to support our PF in 2016 unless we demonstrate sensibility. What has Kabimba done? Is he solely responsible for everything going wrong in government? That is very s.t.u.p.i.d reasoning. If you don’t want Kabimba in PF just because he not Bemba then we should just say it loudly, rather than using s.t.u.p.i.d excuses. When ba-kateka went to court was Kabimba involved? Doesn’t ba-kateka have a whole team of special legal advisors? This is why Mumba in MMD is in problems because other tribes are getting fed up!

  18. You know these youths are vuvuzelas for HH. They know that HH cannot match up with Winter in terms of thinking. Viva Winter Viva Sata.

    • This wind is within PF, soon to become a storm. You seem oblivious to the reality that Mulenga Sata is beginning his ascend to plot one. The likes of Kabimba are a hindrance along the way! What on earth has HH got to do with this?

    • @Mbalule Zulu

If what you are insinuating is true, then HH is the man to lead Zambia come 2016. Sata and most PF including you have admitted openly. So according to you HH is managing to cause confusion within PF but PF are too confused to shake HH’s hold on power in UPND.

      Viva HH.

  19. winter WINTER WINTER,,,how many times did I call you.. Cant you see that PF is a BEMBA PARTY, and you think you can be president one day?

  20. I wish all the effort that went into making the ‘mock coffin’ and holding the demonstration would have been channelled to something more productive. It is time someone told the youths that the answer is not in politics but in putting their best effort in whatever they have been gifted to do.

    • @Shaka

What ever you plan to do a in country like Zambia has some political ramifications because every business venture is governed by laws which are presided over by the party in power. Now the dilemma the youth face today is that these laws are not enforced fairly. They favour some and punish others because of corruption ignored and encouraged by politicians in power.

One other reason is that the politicians use the youth for their political expediency. But once in power they ditch the youth and start telling them exactly what you saying. It that fair?

I hope this gives you an idea why the youth get angry with politicians.

    • @Wanzelu

I get your point. At the end of the day, it is about finding selfless and forward thinking leaders which is near to impossible in a country like Zambia. What amazes me is that even when indicators such as the exchange rate, utility tariffs, fuel costs etc show that things are not okay; we still have people giving the impression that things are not that bad.

  21. The other questions are; where are the police, especially Libongani and Jere, while all this is happening? Have the youths notified the police over this demo? Doesn’t this confirm the two sets of laws, one for PF and another for the opposition?

  22. It is pretty interesting to see these developments, and thinking of the cadres. Whether the cadres like it or not Wynter will not go anyway he is a good friend to the President, and they have been together for a very long time. Next the public order act will be used against the cadres one of these days. It could even be ordered by the President himself but he will not come out to say anything. The reality is Cadres are just cadres for them wynter and the President are in power.

  23. What would be interesting is for us to see the MMD and UPND to put their lawyers together and sue Libongani and Jere for NOT ARRESTING those youths who gathered without a permit, and the PF and Winter in particular to sue the youths for behaving in a manner that threatens national security. One judge should be in charge of both cases.

  24. It has nothing to do with GBM! The massive insults ministers are receiving from their president. This is a protest against the big bwana. These are things you can’t see with a naked eye
